Well, I'm going to have to go with a common theme here and claim "Minecraft".
Don't get me wrong, like everyone else I can appreciate the value of it - a lot of my friends are avid about it and have their own server - I just tend to get bored about an hour in. I'm happy building stuff in RTS games, but actually having to put the blocks together myself just bores me, I'm afraid.
Again, nothing against Minecraft - just not for me.
The other thing(s) is (are) - *raises hate shield* - any sequel to Assassin's Creed.
I absolutely adored the first one for the original concept, the different angle it was taking and the hugely enjoyable story. I'd be the first to admit it's not a perfect game by any means. But it was fun. (Of course I did get the PC version so I didn't suffer the tedium of only 3 info gathering missions to choose from)
I just think the sequels never really changed enough to make my long-term attention want to linger. They were still fun, just not really different enough. (Bro'hood is the most guilty of the two, and I'm not holding out great hopes for `Revelations` either).
I've still bought both, and I'll be buying Revelations, but only for the story.
Steam lists both games as having around 7hrs playtime each - enough for a single playthrough and never to be touched again.
