I'm at least above average at Star Wars Battlefront 2. I can kick the CP's ass on the hardest difficulty, and I can hold my own well enough in multiplayer. I used to be really good at Viewtiful Joe, but I think my skills diminished from lack of practice. I also got second place at my school's Guitar Hero 3 tournament.

SNES Mario Kart, JA2 and X-Com, and Civ II. Not because I particularly talented, but I have sunk so many hours into these games I know them backwards.

I am extremely awesome at Doom.
I'm pretty good at Doom too, just completed my first no-saves-during-level, lose-everything-if-you-die run through all episodes (including the bonus episode, Thy Flesh Consumed) with Ultraviolence. Now I'm gonna do the same with Doom 2 and after that with Plutonia Experiment. Got some challenge ahead of me.

I'm also pretty good at Resident Evil 4, I now mostly play it on Professional setting, which is extremely difficult since you die from 2-3 hits and most of the stronger enemies now kill you instantly, regardless of your current health.

Star Fox 64. Full hard path on Expert mode. All medals on regular mode thus unlocking Foot mode in multiplayer.
High-five, man. I got all the medals on expert a few times, Titania and Sector Z being more difficult than they should have been...It's always a great feeling to get the warp in the Asteroid belt or to get the train station blown in Macbeth...But for a while I actually had the 3rd world record score in Area 6 for non-turbo controllers, and top 5 (as far as I know) with turbo controllers included. Was 707, but I know a couple people had 717 and 714. Just wanted to share with someone else who actually bothered to put more time and effort into SF64 than most did.
WORLD RECORD?! Holy crap dude! Congrats!

Also, i didn't know there WERE any turbo controllers for N64. I just played the heck out of it with my trusty gray standard controller. xD

I'm pretty sure i also managed to get all medals on expert mode to. (After pulling my hair out several times on Sector Z =P)

I'm no where near as good as i was back then. (About grade 6-7 when I owned a N64) It's sooooo embarrassing that i can barely get a medal on Corneria these days! xD
Nah, I had the the 3rd-highest, not the highest. Not sure where 707 would rank now... But this was a while ago. xD

It was still impressive to me. The 707 hits on area six that I had... The highest without a turbo controller on youtube I can find is 703. And with a turbo controller the highest I see is 769. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i5qESgQvgI and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BQi8Efm5Ig&feature=related are those videos.

The closest I've come to world records are actually in um, SSX Tricky, lol.

And Trackmania Nations Forever...Quite random games, really.

Bejeweled... Like totally...

But, seriously, most RTS and TBS games I'm pretty awesome at. Even though I like playing FPSs more, I'm only average to good at them.

I find myself amazing at most shooters. If I'm not in the top two of the game for say, Team Fortress 2, It's a bad night for me

I'm also pretty damn great at most MMOs and RPGs. I learn my class AND get the gear needed to be good, rather than just one or the other.

Not so good at? Real time Strategy. Oh, I love the genre to death, and I want to be good at it, but I just can't be :(

Though I am above average at every other genre.

So I was thinking...As a gamer I play a wide range of games, FPS, Third-person shooters, RPG,etc and there are certain games I'm really good at and others not so much, For example I'm good at games like Fallout 3 or Bioshock but when it comes to games like Splinter Cell: Conviction or Assassin's creed I'm not so great.

In your opinion what games/types of games are you good at and which are you not so good at?
Im great at all rpgs and puzzle games but im a noob at fps, still fun though.

Call of Duty 4. It's just too easy for me. (Medal of Honor as replacement)

Modern Warfare 2. Only if there are no M203s, so never.

Burnout. Everyone crashes though. (Need For Speed Hot Pursuit as replacement)

I don't blow my own whistle very often (if at all), but i'm ridiculously awesome at Harvest Moon games. Hahahaha, I know, no great feat, but when my OCD kicks in, theres nothing stopping me.

I also like to think I'm pretty good with 3rd person shooters, like Gears and WfC. But not pro.

Most RTS's, and a fair few FPS's.
And puzzle games.

To name of each;
Age of Empires III, I can beat teams of four by myself for example.
TF2, I get around 20 kills to 1 death when I bother trying
Portal. Hell yeah.

Jak and Daxter
yeah I pwn at a single player game. but I beat the whole game with out dying
all the power cells, all the precursor orbs, never used a strategy guide.

I also pwn at Tales of Vesperia

as far as multyplayer games go I'm okay.... maybe in between okay and good

I am pretty good at Reach and Halo 3. I kick ass in the single player and do well in multiplayer. I often get 15 to 20 kills in smaller games and 20 to 30 in the bigger games. I have a 10+ K/D ratio fairly often, but other times I fail on an epic level. I also suck at RTS games. If I recorded the APM(actions per minute) it would probably be in the 5 to 10 range.

Crash Team Racing, I totally owned at that game.

Also, Star Wars: Republic Commando. I would somehow completely kick ass on that game.

L4D. But I'm shite at all other competitive multiplayer games.
I own at Fallout 3 and any RPG/strategy game that I like enough to spend the time getting good at!

I'm great at FPS like CoD, and since I'm a CoD person that means NO Halo skill. Also love RPGs such as SW KotOR and Mass Effect, with some Fallout now and again. I'm quite fond of detective games, the ones that mix together adventure and puzzle. And I also enjoy RTS every once in a while, like Civilization and Red Alert. Although the only RTS I've cared to buy rather than borrow is SimCity, but I'm not sure if it falls under RTS.
