I gotta say "Spiderman 3 the movie the game". I loved Spidey 2 for its perfect web-swinging mechanics.

I'm a huge Spidey nerd and will usually give a game a pass if it has Spidey in it and is half decent. But even by my extremely generous standards, Spidey 3 was total crap.

Project:Snowblind for me. Awful game with glowing reviews I will never trust IGN again.

Heh my brother sold that game back to the store within 3 days of buying it. It was THAT bad, so I know what you mean.

On topic: Spore, I was so hyped about it when I bought it but I was dissapointed when I played the game. The story mode was boring beyond belief and the creation part in story mode felt incredibly restricted even once I got dozens upon dozens of parts to use. The sandbox creature creation only lasted for so long until I eventually gave up on it went back to my PS3 and Wii.

Mirror's Edge.

God I expected that game to be great. The demo was so fun, then BAM! I started playing the actual game and thought 'ThHis is repetitive' and it just kept going, and going, and going untill I eventually got so bored of the game, I traded it in.

Oblivion, no doubt.
Hell, I freaking loved Morrowind so when Oblivion was announced me and a mate were like "it's Morrowind with better graphics and combat, they can't possibly screw this up!"

They did, on every level imaginable except for said combat and graphics, they did.
How can one game feel like stepping into this awesome fantasy world filled with adventure while the other feels like you're walking through Our writers are 5 year olds-ville
