Pikmin 3 (which I hear is in production? Huzzah!) and Mirror's Edge 2 are at the top of my list. Too bad ME2 got canceled so fast :/Oh, and I want Nintendo to take back Metroid Prime 3 and COMPLETELY redo it, you know, so it's actually fun like the first 2.

Just a thought, Nintendo *hint hint wink wink nudge nudge*

A fucking Stargate game, or a decent one at least. Seriously this franchise is cursed when it comes to making video games and it boggles my mind seeing as it's a fucking gold mine of opportunity for some really kick ass games. I'm still pissed off about Stargate Alliance, you could make some awesome tactical shooters from the franchise, and we need a really good game dev to pick up the license and MAKE a good Stargate game.

I mean, it's FUCKING STARGATE for christ sake, make it happen game devs, there is a shit ton of money in it for you. The first developer to make a really good Stargate game will earn my eternal respect.

I'd like to see a sequel to Prey. The game hinted that a sequel would follow, but I haven't heard anything about it.
Exactly. They're hiding it from you.

OT: A heavy metal themed open world RPG... WITH!
1. Guitars used as magical staffs.
2. Finishing moves (used by enemies, and on high level enemies).
3. Elemental dragons (one for each element), in appropriate envoirnments.
4. GUITAR DUALS!!
5. Metal kings, one in each of the kingdoms you can go to.
6. The ability to build a dream band (party), with unique characters and play (Guitar Hero style, not fight) against other bands online.
7. Spells that summon Taiwanese little leaguers with aluminum bats, etc., etc...
8. Enemies that level up with you (Oblivion style) so it's never too hard, or easy.

Company of Heroes: Modern Warfare!
Yes, very yes.
I can just imagine it... HMMWVs upgradeable to Mk19s, then the higher up being the more armored MRAPS, M16s, M4s, Aircraft powers to call in, oh god it would be EPIC.

Yet it will still let me down.

A Halo RTS developed by Blizzard.
So, Starcraft 2?
Nah, I want it to be Human/Covenant War. How about Innies vs. UNSC, or one of the wars that are just mentioned in the backstory? Or perhaps Forerunners vs. Flood?
Think of it this way: if Blizzard started that project today, your grandchildren might get to play it.

I want a current-gen version of Jungle Strike. With the gameplay completely untouched, but the graphics, sound, and perhaps even voice acting updated to current gen status. It might also make a very good Nintendo DS game.

Well, I've been kicking around this idea for a game for a very long time. It would be somewhat complicated, but if successfully implemented could in my mind be an epic sci-fi RTS. Basically it would be set in out solar system and have several factions (So far, in my mind I've created four; a United Earth Government, Mars, the Jovian Moons and the Asteroid Belt inhabited by a coalition of miners and traders called Rock Rats (Guess which sci-fi book I cribbed that from?) Anyways, the interface would have the in-depth menus and controls of the many different Paradox Entertainment games (Victoria, Hearts of Iron, and Europa Universalis ect) so that the micro management of your faction could be in depth (as well as unit recruitment). The game would play out real time like in Sins of a Solar Empire, so you have to jump around a lot and build up different structures real time. You would also see your units move around in real time, the units move about and fight just like in Homeworld. There would also be the ship customization that we see in Galactic Civilizations, but you could also customize what your ground combat units would look like (as you probably will be invading planets)

I have a ton more details in my head, but I don't want to create a massive wall of text so I'll leave it at that.

A CoD WaW 2 in which the singleplayer focuses on the Wehrmacht and the Imperial Army, or any WW2 game for that matter. A WW1 game since WW2 games are dying.

I'd really like to see a Warcraft 4. Not WoW but Warcraft. I liked the series better when it was an RTS rather than an MMO. *edit* Curses! Ninja'd! Still a good idea though

A Cops and Robbers MMO, where you can live an honest life or the life of crime. It's up 24/7, and you can designate your characters sleep time according to the work sched, show up for training, make phone calls (in-game VOIP!) that if there's a mole in YOUR organization, the other people can monitor who was called by whom, and when. Organized Crime on different scales, factions breaking off from one group to either take control or divide the city, Police having a chance to play bad-cop....
Its called APB (All-Points-Bulletin). Its an actual game that is coming out for the PC. Players can play as either Criminals or Enforcers. Criminals commit well... criminal activity, while Enforcers can respond to these activities. Players can call in for back-up from their side so essentially simple 4 on 4 fights can evolve into server spanning wars. It sounds really cool from what I've heard.

A Zombie Survival MMORPG with destructive zone and cities where everyone could barricade themself anywhere and fight with ton of weapons
And there is already something like this too. Urban dead. Its pretty fun. Its not anything high-tech but you can play as either survivors or zombies and the player community is really strong.
Oh and sorry if anyone has already mentioned APB or Urban Dead. I didn't really bother to read all the post in this thread.

I want Haze 2, with a few changes....

Make it open world, either in futuristic New York city-esque place, or a vast forest environment.

Give the player the ability to choose between joining the rebels or staying with Mantel. Then give us an RPG skill-tree, like increased melee damage when using nectar for Mantel, and quieter steps when sneaking for rebels. And make the gameplay for both completely different, Mantel being more your typical FPS, whereas the rebels would be about silent, guerilla warfare. And make the story different too; If you're playing as a Mantel soldier, they show propaganda and such to make it seem like the rebels are complete most. And if you play as a rebel, show that they're just people trying to fight against an opressive government.

Make the campaign much, much longer. I was about to beat Haze in.... Maybe about 2 hours. And since the multiplayer was fairly dead, it lacked replay value.

While I'm dreaming, how about online co-op, with co-op specific missions?
You know, I got a ps3 the other day and I have haze, and I don't think it is as bad as people have made it out to be. While clearly it's not the best game ever, I think there are some good ideas there that could have made a really good game, had it been made right and then marketed right. I'm going through the game either way because I want to finish what I have started, and in all honesty it's now become a bit of a guilty pleasure.

Anyway, OT I'd also love to see a new Timesplitters game, but perhaps a multiplayer only version, so they don't have to worry about making up some story and they can just make a decent online multiplayer game instead.

A risk-style game that lets you pick a time period to battle in. The map is divided up and just as in regular risk every time a player invades a zone/country there's an FPS or RTS battle or something (obviously varying depending on the location of the battle and time period). If the invader wins, they take the zone/country, and defender winning ends up with the invader staying where they are.

The battles would be conquest-style game with points to control and a certain amount of revive tickets (determined by the amount of troops players assign to invade/defend). There could be air and sea battles in an RTS format, and the same style could be applied to land battles if the players want.

It would never happen just due to the immense amount of effort required, but I think it could be awesome.
