DAMMIT, ninja'd again! I would kill a Bioshock fanboy for this. it would be win+win.FinalDream said:System Shock 3
Forget that Bioshock bull lets have the real thing.
It would only work if a Western studio made a pastiche of a JRPG that catered to your dramatic tastes but is aesthetically Japanese. So yeah, not happening.Spritemaster said:Maybe a really well designed stealth game, or a JRPG that allows me to watch the cutscene without leaving the room in embaressment from the dialouge... Nah, never gonna happen
There are several FPS titles that I understand, loosely fit your description. Condemned is one. Zeno Clash is another one (and is a fairly unusual title). You could try giving them a look up.HG131 said:While I'll never tire of being a badass in FPSes, that sounds fun.WhiteTiger225 said:I am tired of First Person games where you play somekind of rambo.
I want an FPS game where ANYTHING is a melee weapon, and you can OCCASIONALLY find guns and ammo (In sensible places like on a dead officer) but even those usually won't help you. My idea is a game where you play just a random Joe or Jane. IT would have MultiPlayer.. and get this.. you are that victim you ALWAYS see in a horror movie.
Imagine creeping through the dark hallways, never knowing which Door Jason Vorheese might bust through, or hearing that sickening humming of a chainsaw engine as Leather face stalks around the room, hoping and praying he doesn't realize you are hiding inside the closet. OR worse.. Running desperately as Michael Myers stalks after you, only to have him appear around the corner infront of you!
I think THAT game would be TRULY epic for the "Survival Horror" genre.
Precisely. I was really sad when it ended. The movie wasn't near enough for me. I'm tempted to get the comics but somehow its not the same without the actors, etc.HG131 said:Thanks. The 'Verse has so much backstory and smaller things that never got explored. It could be amazing, done right.Tehlanna TPX said:I would totally play thatHG131 said:A Firefly MMORPG. It could work.. Honestly. That is an interesting idea!
Fingerlicking said:Years ago when I still had a Super Nintendo, my dad came home drunk and decided to ride out his buzz playing a nice game of pixelated golf. In the middle of his third tee he suddenly yelled out, "I wanna ride the damn golf cart and rip this manacured lawns shit up"! I didn't think much of it at the time, but over the years it grew on me. Wouldn't it be awesome to play a game where you drive a golfcart armed with rockets, spiked treads, maybe a bulldozer front, for the sole purpose of blowing up those pretty green lawns that are so well kept? Recently, with Indie Games filling up the XBOX Marketplace and the Unreal Engine showing that it's quite capable of providing complete and utter destruction, I decided it was high time something like that was made. I mean, come on? For ten bucks on Xbox I'd buy that without a second thought. And mail the developers a pudding to boot. -F
