I am tired of First Person games where you play somekind of rambo.

I want an FPS game where ANYTHING is a melee weapon, and you can OCCASIONALLY find guns and ammo (In sensible places like on a dead officer) but even those usually won't help you. My idea is a game where you play just a random Joe or Jane. IT would have MultiPlayer.. and get this.. you are that victim you ALWAYS see in a horror movie.
Imagine creeping through the dark hallways, never knowing which Door Jason Vorheese might bust through, or hearing that sickening humming of a chainsaw engine as Leather face stalks around the room, hoping and praying he doesn't realize you are hiding inside the closet. OR worse.. Running desperately as Michael Myers stalks after you, only to have him appear around the corner infront of you!

I think THAT game would be TRULY epic for the "Survival Horror" genre.

Sci-fi games have been really unsatisfying the last 10 years...

An online Zombie game.

Tough zombies, you wouldn't be able to take more than 2 on your own. Guns are few and far between.

You'd have to work with teammates who have also gained XP which is used to increase skills such as driving, strength, luck etc.

An enormous city island with about 50 escape points; if you get to one of these then you win and have escaped, however, there are usually only about 4 in use per game, these are chosen at random, and you would only know which ones are working once you've gotten to them.

That sounds a little like L4D, only completely fucking awesome. As long as you add a infinitiveish mode where you can't escape but instead have to build a base and survive as long as possible.

Hmm, I'd say Half Life 2 Episode 3, but it's being made... Slowly.

I had an idea in the survival thread thing, you take a grand theft auto style map, and Gmod (with Wiremod) building tools, and have to create a place to live out the zombie apocalypse, co-op, where you send friends out to scavange for guns/ammo, or wood/metal to build with, everythings pretty durable but can be broken through if Zombies can't enter by a door (metal can't be broken) things along those lines. Say during the night, more zombies etc. I think it'd be an awesome game.

I'd play that! Awesome! Can I play Co-op with you once you build it?

How about something that'll appease the Unskippable guys? How about an FPS that starts with a controllable vehicle scene where you DON'T get KO'd or killed? In fact, I even have an idea for it:

Okay, so there are these four people taking a limo ride. In this limo scene, you can switch to whichever character's point of view, and you can look around as that person. All of a sudden, there's this motorcycle coming from behind with these two guys shooting at the limo. Whichever character you were controlling at that very moment opens and pops out through the roof, breaks out his or her firearms, and you get to mow down those motorcycle guys. And thankfully, the screen DOESN'T go black.

What? It could work...
