For a game I genuinely do want: Titanfall. Looks great, but apparently doesn't have the single-player to justify full price. Not to mention I don't have an Xbox One or indeed the purchasing power to get one.
Yeah, same here. I really want to play Titanfall, but I'd also like to pick it up and play it again a few years down the line(which tends not to be feasible in most MP games).

As for VC, I like Anime and my eyes are rolling from some of the common anime tropes. I don't get the point of doing a WWII expy down to barely changing the names, then suddenly "Magical powers" and "Ancient Superweapons". What, guys? World War 2 wasn't interesting enough for you?

Wolfenstein gets away with "magic/super tech" it because 1.) It's what Wolfenstein has always done and 2.) Wolfenstein isn't really trying to be the real WWII.

Don't get me wrong, I like VC. A lot. It just seems wierd that with so much of the game based on the real WW2 with some artistic license(Armored bad guys? Impractical and wierd but whatever) and even the Giant tanks have some basis in fact(The Germans did design, but not actually build some of those monster tanks), then "MAGIC".

Any new game that I can't get for 20 bucks or less from sales. I'm sorry but after Steam and GOG I can never justify spending 60 bucks on another game ever again. Last game I paid 60 bucks for was Metal Gear Rising on the 360. And that was about a year ago or so. No new game anymore is worth 60 bucks, i'll just wait and either get it cheaper on sale or used.

Illbleed: Seems really up my alley, but I just can't justify buying a Dreamcast for one game.
Mother Three: Imports are a *****.
Pikmin Three: I am a HUGE fan of Pikmins One & Two, but I already have a PS4, I could NOT justify another next gen console, even for a game I've wanted since I was ten.
Xenoblade Chronicles: I dun fucked it up and waited on this one without realizing it would become a collectors item down the line, now the damn thing costs one hundred bucks MINIMUM, and that's if you can find a copy in the first place.
Dangan Ronpa (US): I've read the thing in screenshot LP form forever ago, but I really want to play it in action, trouble is I don't have a vita, and can't see any other reason to purchase one.

I could probably think of more given time.

X-Com: Enemy Within. It just offends my sensibilities to pay for an expansion pack what I would for a full game. Yes, I know a physical copy is $40 USD when full games normally run $60, but it's $40 for a digital copy as well, and when the publisher fails to mark their digital shit down to account for a lack of material costs, I balk. (Besides which fact, a $40 expansion pack is steep no matter how much the original cost.)

In fact, let's say any digital game that costs as much as a physical copy.

Wait, is Mother 3 actually legitimately out outside Japan? Because as far as I know, most people just download, patch and emulate the damn thing because for whatever reason, Nintendo can't be bothered to just port it over(despite the fact all the work has already been done for them).

It's never been released outside Japan, but a ways back Nintendo gave permission to the fan translators to keep their translations up, and further clarified that so long as you own a physical copy of Mother three, playing a translated rom of the game is completely legal. I know most people don't care and it's nearly impossible to get caught, but I'm paranoid about that sort of thing and it just wouldn't feel right to illegitimately play a game that can be obtained through legal means, EG: is not abandonware.
And I don't want to just watch an LP, that works for a digital novel like Danagn Ronpa, but not an RPG like Mother.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection - Love the series, love the characters, but like, it's an idol sim, and has barely any songs too.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls: Really wanna get this, but the price is a bit too much for me to want to spend on an expansion pack, especially one to a game I don't play often.

Then gamestop got the rights and did a mass reprint on Xeno and now you can find them for 40 bucks easily at a store.

Panzer Dragoon saga, Seems to go for like 200 now for a copy, it used to be around 150 and that was still way out of my price range.

Outlast and daylight, Can't tell if they are actually good or that pewdie bait ;p

Any game with in game exclusive kick starter dlc, me being a person that likes to own everything in a game, especially if it's an insane level like 100 bucks for an special weapon

A few early access titles that look like they never be finished.

Nothing, wanting it justifies paying for it, kind of how games work for me :p

Really though, pretty much any of the new console stuff, wouldn't mind trying out a few of the games, but really can't bring myself to buy any of the systems.

I actually didn't know about this, as I don't typically shop at Gamestop, I'll have to get on that as soon as I can so as not to snooze and lose this time. Thanks for the info!

GameStop always had the right to call for a reprint, because they actually helped pay for the localization of the game, which is why only GameStop was allowed to sell the game.

They are now, but that wasn't until there was a huge uproar about what they were doing. GameStop had reprinted the games, but said that they had "suddenly received shipments of it" and were selling them for $90 used for a while. The only thing that was used about them was that it didn't have the wrapping, as that's what GameStop calls used if it's out of the shrink wrap for a day. They did the same thing with the Metroid Prime Trilogy, and were discovered for it because the original print all had the tin cases, but the reprints didn't. GameStop didn't lower the prices of them for months until finally they have now, probably because they weren't shifting many copies at a price like that.

Watch_Dogs. I play most non-Nintendo games on PC. PC + Ubisoft = Bad Times. I'll wait for the WiiU version, and if that never comes, oh well.

for me it is just about any Xbox exclusive, i don't want to get invested in a console that won't get long term exclusive support that isn't timed DLC.

Would like to try Bravely Default and some of the Pokemon games, but I can't be arsed buying handheld consoles for the very few games I'm intrested in. I also got huge issues buying any game for consoles these days. My library is over 120 games for the PS3 iirc, however, after spending a year buying bundles and cheap games on the PC(as well as getting "free" games with PSN+) I really can't justify spending above £20 on a game. The specific games I'm lacking at the moment are The Last of Us and GTAIV.

Also got all these PS Vita games through PSN+ that I can't play because I don't have a Vita... If I ever feel I got money to waste I think I might buy one, but if I know myself right I'll get bored quickly with the small handhelds.

dragon age origins and the mass effect series, ill never give my money to EA again tough
A lot of people were dissapointed by the second DA.

I was dissapointed by the first DA. Didn't care for it.

I acknowledge that origin is now a respectable service, but I'll never install it; and the flagship games don't do it for me anymore. Look at sim city, there was a guaranteed sell that they managed to veer entirely away from my interests with. I am in pc gaming now for the indie and niche scenes; the AAA shooteyMcmultiplaye scene is just something i'm not into.

Unlikely, Nintendo discontinued the Wii about a year ago.

I wanna play Journey and Portal 2 but the cost/length ratio is insurmountable to me.
Unless you've played through the game already and have all of the puzzles memorized, Portal 2 is quite a lengthy game. It's much longer than Portal 1.

If you have someone to play it with, there are also quite a lot of multiplayer levels too.
Never played either Portal and I was looking forward to getting Portal 2 on the PS3 for the co-op value. I just can't seem to find it at a good price is all (online purchases are off for absurd exchange rates btw).

Xenoblade and Xbox exclusives. I'm not going to pay the ridiculous amount of money eBayers demand for Xenoblade and I can't justify buying a 360 or Xbone for the paltry number of exclusives that actually interest me.
