Wii =/= Wii U. Though the Wii U version of Watch Dogs probably won't come out. The game got delayed so much and the Wii U sales are low (sales increased a crapton since Mario Kart 8 though), so Ubisoft probably can't justify localizing the game for yet another console..
My bad, don't know why I read that as "Wii".

Uncharted 4: Danm you Sony, now I'll have to buy a PS4

I decided when they announced the new consoles last year that I would stick to PC...
But Uncharted...
Aghh! I'd have buckled eventually!

Watch Dogs. I have a few friends who have it and they say it's really fun, but for the life of me I just can't justify spending 60 dollars to play it.
Worry not, young padawan, for the Steam Summer Sale soon uopn us is.

Nothing, wanting it justifies paying for it, kind of how games work for me :p

Really though, pretty much any of the new console stuff, wouldn't mind trying out a few of the games, but really can't bring myself to buy any of the systems.
Indeed.
If I want to play a game I see that as justification enough to buy it.

You could always get them used on console as a way around your personal boycott. It what i did in order to get DMC since i have similar capcom boycott.

Watch Dogs. I could play it on 3 platforms, but I won't yet.
Sunset Overdrive, because there aren't enough games to make me get a next gen console, let alone an Xbone.

Assassin's Creed 4. It's still forty quid on the Steam store. I've been wanting to play an open world piratey thing since forever :(
Doesn't it go on sale fairly often? I think I saw it on sale and the only thing that stopped me was uPlay. I picked it up on PS3 for 20 bucks or less a while back.
It might go on sale a lot for consoles, but I've never seen it on a steam sale at more than 10% discount.

The witcher games, i just don't have the computer for them.
Both Witcher games are really well optimized. I know since I had a pretty dated PC back when I played them and they runned fine (W1 around 45fps and W2 around 30fps) with everything on Low. The optimization got better with the release of the Enhanced Editions. Both games can even run on a semi-decent laptop.

I can't afford buying a PS4 just to get No Mans Sky and LBP3. I don't need LBP3, but I really hope No Mans Sky comes to the PC.

I'm *slightly* interested in Valkyria Chronicles because of the WW2 aspect, but after a lifetime of deriding anime and its associated works as pure garbage, I can't be seen playing it. Besides, doesn't appeal to me that much.

For a game I genuinely do want: Titanfall. Looks great, but apparently doesn't have the single-player to justify full price. Not to mention I don't have an Xbox One or indeed the purchasing power to get one.

*Sigh* I need a job....
The first Valkyrie Chronicles is an excellent and unique Tactical RPG with beautiful visuals wrapped in a mediocre anime plot. There are a few good parts to the plot but by and large it's crap. It remains one of my favorite games on the PS4, if a bit unpolished. If you can't overlook the plot you should probably not play it.

I agree with this statement. The original game is worth the money. It is stylish and fairly unique, one of the must haves on the PS3 from my point of view.

After watching a few hours of let's plays I have concluded that Rome II Total War is now in a playable shape and probably worth a purchase. Then I visited Steam and saw that in total it is priced at 95 euros, way to much this late after launch. The game had a horrid release and is virtually barely out of beta, and still they have gone and increased the price! I am skeptical towards their DLC methods.

Total War Rome 2: I'd like to play it, but from what I've read it's not worth the full $60 price, not to mention the DLC blargh. I've been holding out for at least 66% off, but no luck so far. Fingers crossed for the Steam Summer Sale. [edit: lol ninja'd!]

Other than that, I've always wanted to play the Zelda games, but won't fork over for the requisite consoles. Looks like I'll never play Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword :/

Same as AliasBot really, I would really like to play Halo: The Master Chief collection, but I am not really that tempted to buy a £350 console and £40 XBL multiple times to play one franchise occasionally. We shall wait and see however, maybe the console goes down in price at some point.

Any of the new games coming out for the Wii U.

I'm not a fan of the console, but some of these games look promising

If there is a game i want to play, then i just buy it or wait for it to get cheaper. Really dont care about the politics around EA or Ubisoft or whatever. Granted, the "buy when cheaper" means that i cant justify spending big bucks on a game that i dont deem worthy of full price purchase.

Wait, got one, day one dlc. Never ever bought it. Waste of money. Only dlc i would buy is for Bethesda games though now would wait till the GotY edition.

Gah, let's see... mostly it's games which look interesting, but not necessarily good. So far on the list are Beyond: Two Souls, Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea, Thief, Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadowfall, Murdered: Soul Suspect. I did have Wolfenstein on the list, but it's been really well received, and looks quite good, so I may crack and get it before a price drop.

I wanna play Journey and Portal 2 but the cost/length ratio is insurmountable to me.
Seriously? Can't you get Portal 2 for dirt cheap now? I mean, on steam, I've seen it on sale for what, $2.50, $1.25? And it's awesome, and not at all short. It also has an entire second campaign for co-op, which is also really fun. And if you want it for consoles, you should be able to grab it for $20 or under, still well worth it. Journey's also fairly cheap as I recall.

I want a PS4 but simply don't have the money. Luckily there aren't many games out for the thing yet that I can't also get on say, the PS3 like Thief or, Wolfenstein: The New One.
Honestly, when the new consoles came out, I thought the same thing, but then I thought "A year or two from now, there's going to be a heck of a lot of games just for the next-gen stuff, and I'll want it. And by then, there almost certainly won't have been a price drop. So I might as well get the next-gen console now, and have all the games for the next few years with nice shiny graphics, and on the same console as the only-next-gen stuff." Of course, then they went and raised the next-gen game prices here in Canada, but still, I think it'll work out.

None. If I want something badly enough I'll buy it regardless of cost, eg Pokemon X at $240.

Space Engineer, because beta, and reason 1.
