Gah, let's see... mostly it's games which look interesting, but not necessarily good. So far on the list are Beyond: Two Souls, Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea, Thief, Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadowfall, Murdered: Soul Suspect. I did have Wolfenstein on the list, but it's been really well received, and looks quite good, so I may crack and get it before a price drop.

I wanna play Journey and Portal 2 but the cost/length ratio is insurmountable to me.
Seriously? Can't you get Portal 2 for dirt cheap now? I mean, on steam, I've seen it on sale for what, $2.50, $1.25? And it's awesome, and not at all short. It also has an entire second campaign for co-op, which is also really fun. And if you want it for consoles, you should be able to grab it for $20 or under, still well worth it. Journey's also fairly cheap as I recall.

I want a PS4 but simply don't have the money. Luckily there aren't many games out for the thing yet that I can't also get on say, the PS3 like Thief or, Wolfenstein: The New One.
Honestly, when the new consoles came out, I thought the same thing, but then I thought "A year or two from now, there's going to be a heck of a lot of games just for the next-gen stuff, and I'll want it. And by then, there almost certainly won't have been a price drop. So I might as well get the next-gen console now, and have all the games for the next few years with nice shiny graphics, and on the same console as the only-next-gen stuff." Of course, then they went and raised the next-gen game prices here in Canada, but still, I think it'll work out.
