PIKMIN 3

Holy hell, I absolutely love that game. It's just way too addicting.
Commanding the Pikmin armies against the bosses in the game was one of the best experiences in my life.

If I had to choose between Pikmin 3 and Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, CoD5, Halo:Chronicles, and Farcry 2, I'd choose Pikmin 3.
God I love that game.

i want a proper Naruto or Bleach game thats free roaming and doesn't have ANY of the main characters. I want them to do a Kotor and set the story line hundreds of years before the main events of the anime so you can make your own character from scratch. Bleach would be more RPG in what you do effects the power and looks of your Shikai and Bankai. The Naruto game would start of using just fists and ninja stars but then latter you start using proper ninjistu(mind the spelling) and illusions. and when you become an S-Class ninja you can summon a giant animal and you have giant poke-naruto-mon battles in real time.

and speaking of pokemon I'd like a game with ALL the fricken pokemon none of this trading bullcrap. in full 3D and when you have a poke-battle it zooms in and you take control of the poke-monster and fight in real time with the enemy.

Hands down, MechWarrior 5.

Microsoft, whyyyyyyyyy have you forsaken us? ;_;
Then again, I fear it'd end up a gutted, consolified version. MechWarrior needs a keyboard for all kinds of not-vital-but-useful functions, okay?

For second places, I'd nominate FreeSpace 3 and this:
I honestly can't believe nobody has mentioned Republic Commando yet. That game was an absolute masterpiece: A sequel with a longer campaign, co-op, and multiplayer that doesn't suck would be an absolute must-buy for me.

Gmod 11. Or 12 If 11 exists. And I'd like to see it sold in stores with a copy of the Source Engine.

What gets me bent out of shape is the fact that there hasn't been a decent cyberpunk game in about a million years. I realize that cyberpunk is a dead genre but seriously when I fire up "Shadowrun" for the SNES I still get a charge. Why can't someone just put some spit and polish on it and make into an XBOX Live Download? God if they can crap out TRON...

I grew up on Cyberpunk. I still love it a lot more than I should. Hell dystopian urban fiction is my favorite. There seems to be so much potential for innovative gameplay in this day and age - Why should hacking be so lame? Why does a really solid cyber-noir story seem so undesireable?

The fact that "Shadowrun" got turned into a junker of a FPS doesn't make me feel any better either.
My thoughts EXACTLY. Except I preferred it on the Genesis.

A few others
Battle Chess. How do you make the most popular game for the past six hundred years even better? Fully animate the pieces with fatalities.

Kung Fu for the NES, made over with a Ninja Gaiden touch

King of Monsters, who doesn't love tearing apart cities Kaiju style?

Golden Axe, done in a Dynasty Warriors style

Weapon Lord, because we need more fighting games with weapons. Especially more mature ones.

A game set in the Unreal universe, only with a single-player storyline where the Skaarj or someone has invaded us, and the Tournament fighters are sent to the battlefield.

I had an idea for a cross between an RTS and an RPG. Basically, if an RPG boils down to creating a character with strengths and weaknesses whose abilities advance over time, then this game would replace "character" with faction. I discussed it with a friend of mine. We've already sketched out a basic backstory, five races, and an ability score system. Once we've finished our idea, we'll send it off to Bioware and THQ so they can make it. After further thought, maybe we should just send the idea off to Valve, so they can apply their cabal system to it.

I second the idea for Freelancer 2.

A third expansion for Age of Empires III. This expansion shall contain three things:
1. African civilizations. I'm thinking Zulu, Ethiopians, and someone from North Africa.
2. A revamp of the naval AI. The AOE III AI can do fine on the land, but they're hopeless at naval warfare.
3. A return of the older diplomacy systems, allowing players to change alliances in the game, or have more than two sides without a free-for-all.

Finally, I want a game in the Half-Life series where you play as Alyx Vance and can use that multitool she has.

Also, with the exception of the third AOE III expansion, I want all of these games to come out no sooner than Christmas 2009. That way they spend a good amount of time in development, and I'll have a better laptop by then so I can actually run these games. Damn Intel graphics card...

EDIT: Oops, I accidentally hit the "Report" button instead of "Edit". Moderators, please ignore this report.

Anyway, my latest idea is an FPS in which you get to use nuclear weapons at one point. And not the supposedly nuclear weapons like the Redeemer. Something like the Fury nuke from the Halo novels - it had a yield of a couple kilotons, and was the size of an overinflated football. I want to fire a missile at a target, see the mushroom cloud, then strap on my radiation suit and enter the three-mile-radius blast zone that I created. This should not be scripted - it should be the result of a physics engine doing its job. The way that I know they did this right is that the internet is ablaze with idiots complaining that they keep getting killed on the mission where you use nukes, not realizing that you have to get about ten miles away from the target before firing!

An awesome idea I had just now.

A Discworld game based on the Assassin's Guild. The intro level is the gauntlet featured in Pyramids, ending with the fearsome assassination of a dummy. From there, you'll be able to Take The Black and start accepting contracts in the Guild. Of course, your missions will end in the assassination of one or more people, but here's where the big gimmick comes in.

Going about your task, you will be rated by on how stylish you were. You will achieve points for flashy stunts or superb stealth. You'll have to do certain tricks to fulfil mission perameters, of course, but from there the world is your mollusc. The more points you get, the more money you recieve at completion. Also, doing some stunts will cause you to lose points, like needless slaughter or attacking someone on the streets.

The world shouldn't be too big, perhaps a slightly condensed Ankh-Morpork, with the less important streets taken out. The money you earn will be spent on new weapons for assassinations, and clothes that give point modifiers.

In short: Assassin's Creed meets Tony Hawk's Skate Boarding. It would be awesome.

As much as I hate FPS's, I think the Wii is an incredibly suitable platform for them (even more so than the PC), so I think Portal would do quite well on the Wii.

And could someone PLEASE use the wicked-sweet GTA3 engine to make a different style of game, either something Sci-Fi or Medieval. I knock thee of thyne horse, shout n00b, and rideth to the black market to beat up young Willam for snitching to the king. On thyne way, I change the radio station on thy horse to a more jaunty tune.
Hmm, I love the idea of using the GTA3 (or IV, if they're different) engine to do something else, but I think I'd like to see it used for something cyberpunk.

Meanwhile, the simple kill-everything=in-sight stress relief in Painkiller make me want to design a game of my own with the same basic concept (unwind by just mowing down everything in sight, no fancy BS), and the awesome weapons in that game make me want to design a few wacky weapons of my own, too. It wouldn't be an FPS, since I hate them overall, but a third-person shooter isn't quite as terrible, and here are a few of the weapons I thought up:
1. You know how in at least one of the Goemon games, there are a couple of bosses (and one technique you can learn, I think) that attack with razor-sharp cherry blossom leaves. I'd like to see a gun that shoots a cloud of those, slicing up everything in its path.
2. A gun that shoots a buzz saw blade attached to a cord, that can be retrieved after it finishes slicing through some more stuff.
3. Getting back to flowers, I'd love to see an ordinary-looking rose that, when thrown, gives off a massive explosion.
4. A gun that sends a small tornado spinning towards the enemy.
And that's just the ones I can think of now.

Then, of course, the fanboy in me wants to see a massive Kingdom Hearts/Smash Bros. crossover, but I'll probably get flamed for that here.

And then Dead Fantasy [http://montyoum.gametrailers.com/gamepad/?action=viewblog&id=173883], by the great Monty Oum, has made me want to see a spin-off: Dead Fantasy Xtreme Beach Volleyball ^_^;

And last but not least, I have an idea for a Sonic game that I think could really revitalize the franchise:
First off, let's solve the "too many characters" problem. On the one hand, you have the purists who want Sonic and ONLY SONIC, and I see their point. On the other hand, some of these characters have fans too. But oddly enough, I think there's a surprisingly simple solution to that problem that would keep both camps happy: Give each of the supporting characters a mission, BUT have those missions be optional side quests and mini-games, NOT necessary to the completion of the main story. Maybe a 100% completion bonus would unlock an alternate ending or something, but you wouldn't be REQUIRED to play as any character you didn't like, just to get to the ending.

Now, as for the stages, do away with as much combat as possible, return to the emphasis on speed, stunts, and dodging obstacles. Forget the point system incorporating enemies killed, you'd be graded solely on your time getting to the end of the stage. It's a race, not a combat game. All the split-second stunts would be geared towards getting you to the end of the stage faster. That said, there would be some variety. I think QTE's might actually be appropriate here, since it's already a reflex test, so maybe one level would have a lot of those. And of course, there's be the pinball level, obviously, but for that level, the camera would switch to 2D top-down, so no camera wobbling obscuring the board.

As for the supporting characters' side missions, you'd get some real variety in the gameplay. Sonic's stages would be mostly straightforward action mechanics, but the side quests would incorporate some very different gameplay mechanics and types of challenges. Each one different. This would allow some real variety and imagination in the gameplay, without forcing you to do every last one of them if you didn't want to.

Oh yes, and Dr. Eggman. No last-minute teaming up to fight a new bad guy at the end. Either have him be the villain OR have him turn reluctantly good towards the START of the story. Either would be fine with me.

I'd go on with more specifics, but this one game description is long enough as it is. PM me for the rest of my specs if you like.
And of course, I'm still waiting for the Firefly MMO...
