Baldur's Gate 3. A game that for several very good reasons we all know must NEVER be made. And for that I weep.
An Ark 22 sequel.
Republic Commando 2.

Yea, I knew something was wrong when I posted it... Needs more hero options, planets options, and space battles imo. Maybe like 4 heroes per map (even space maps) and it randomly picks one to be that game.teutonicman said:You mean Star Wars Battlefront 3 right?Tanfastic said:Star Wars Battlefront 2, a Mass Effect MMO, and a Harry Potter MMO (Come on, life at school would be awesome going around with your wand and magics!)

Also some of the best maps from the first one were taken out and I have no idea why. I loved the snow map with the stone temple or whatever it was.Tanfastic said:Yea, I knew something was wrong when I posted it... Needs more hero options, planets options, and space battles imo. Okay, I have to put my hands up to that one; some of the ship designs were utterly stupid; the capital ships in particular looked like fish out of water...literally!Iwata said:Well, Starlancer was my favorite space-sim since the Wing Commander series, so when they announced a sequel, I was happy as a puppy. Starlancer ends just as the war is turned around, opening a whole new battlefront for the sequel.
Instead, they start Freelancer by telling us that the first game, well, didn't really matter. Sorry, you lost the war, and hey, it's now a thousand years in the future! Then they dumped the awesome carrier-ops, Cold War-turned-hot-IN-SPAAAAAAAAACE theme for broken open world exploration, also dumping the awesome military ships from Starlancer for some of the worst ship designs this side of EVE Online.
The problem with Freelancer, in short, is that it was advertised as a sequel to an awesome, awesome game, and instead it took a dump on it in the intro, then flew off in an entirely different direction. There is NOTHING in Freelancer to suggest it's a sequel to Starlancer. The first game was a linear, story-driven military space sim. None of those words apply to Freelancer. I get that a shit-ton of people loved Freelancer, but from my experience most of those people aren't even aware that the game is a sequel!
That is pretty much my gripe.
