Beyond Good & Evil, there are so many things we can improve upon it in this post-Assassin's Creed age.

Also I'd like another Klonoa game, maybe one for the 3DS.

So I was recently going through my game collection and I came across an old game that I used to play back before the ps3 came out. It was called Dark Cloud 2. I remember reading somewhere about a Dark Cloud 3 coming out, but that was way back and I haven't heard anything about one since. Other games I would like to see have at least 1 more sequel:

Darksiders (not sure if there is or isn't going to be one, so I put it on here)
Fate (No more xpacs!)
Okami
Mark of Kri
Bard's Tale

So, fellow escapists, how about you?
(also, very sorry if there was already a topic like this)
Okami's sequel Okamiden (it's on the DS) just recently came out.
I remember reading elsewhere that work on Darksiders 2 is in progress. (EDIT: According to Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darksiders], it's confirmed for 2013)
*snip*
That is great news then! I loved the first one. Combining elements from god of war-type games and puzzle-type games was a great idea. I hope Darksiders 2 will be tons better.

Oh, I just remembered, the Sonic Adventure games. There where quite a few wrinkles to iron out, but they where still fun (during the Sonic and Shadow levels anyway).

Alpha Protocol. The game had the right ideas but some of the details were just missing. Improve the voice acting, add some more depth to the design, make it so that every class setupd can do every chapter (some chapters were nearly impossible with a melee build for instance) and improve the animations / graphics, that includes the art style.

It's one of those games that was very great, but held back by some things that are pretty common in games. A sequel that will take all those flaws away and keep the game as it is will probably be in my top10 of all time.

I want another Jak and Daxter game.
The ending to Jak 3 was open enough to continue a story and I really loved the Jak series, but mostly because Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier left a bad taste in my mouth.
Not that I'll acknowledge the existence of Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier...

Mirrors edge!

I would like it to have a open world since the fun is moving about. After that you can polish and tweak what did not work as good.

I'd like to see a sequel to the game Black, the late PS2 shooter. I had a lot of fun going through that game and blowing the living shit out of everything I came across.
Demand A SEQUEL!!!

It was made for both systems btw.

Star Wars goddamn Battlefront 3.
When will someone pick up that god damn gold mine and bring it to its inevitable glory and holy nature. I'd buy 10 copies just to make sure it got some sort of recognition.
This game is my Duke Nukem Forever.

I´ll jump on the KOTOR 3 bandwagon. Fans want to know what happened to Revan, Bioware! And no, a holocron explaining it in TOR is not what i mean.

Fallout 2

That's the only one I can think of. Generally I dislike sequels because I already have the original game and if I want to play that then I'll play that, I don't want another game that gives me the same thing.
In case you really didn't know, there has been a sequel to Fallout 2, called Fallout 3 by Bethesda.
You know, I honestly forgot about that.

Besides it's not really a sequel because it has different gameplay, different design philosophy, different setting and different characters.
Fallout 3 gives you exactly what you say you want: something entirely different. It is a sequel and it is as good as the original two Fallouts.
But if it offers an entirely different experience then it fails as a sequel. Also I'd point out that Fallout is the exception, it's the only series I've played where I do want more of that experience from new games.

1) I'd love to see a proper Kingdom Hearts 3. It's been 5 years since KH 2. Since then the series has been jumping from portable to portable and has been impossible to follow unless you own every console. I just want another console Kingdom Hearts.

2) Another Jak and Daxter game developed by Naughty Dog. The Lost Frontier was handed to another developer, so that doesn't count.

I want there to be another Halo sequel. Not because I'm a fan of it, I just want to see Bob come up with more reasons to hate it because it's popular.

Not so much a sequel, but a re-release or or possibly HD-ified version of Grim Fandango.

I would adore a sequel to Freedom Fighters... It would definitely be better than what they did make instead, Kane and Lynch 2...

Ah I just remembered a classic!

Freelancer!

Shame on you, Digital Anvil. Freelancer was a house built on the foundation of a palace. Then you had to go and shut down. Sad face.
Freelancer, awesome game, a sequel would be nice although, the mod/online community is still strong. But I miss the Space trading and combat simulator genre... the last one I played was Darkstar One :/

Good news for you, The darkness 2 was confirmed for release in Autumn 2011

http://www.gamepron.com/news/2011/02/15/mike-patton-will-return-in-the-darkness-ii/

I would want to see sequels for:

Terranigma (obviosly, my absolute favorite action-rpg)

Parasite Eve/Dino Crisis/Eternal Darkness (The first two could get the Resident Evil 4 treatment and still work, Eternal darkness on the other hand need to be handled with care, Frictional Games could probably deliver a faithful sequel)
