You are talking about Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon right?! I LOVED that game! Not sure about a sequel for it though. Thats a huge risk. The original game was just so good.

They did make sequals...Japan only sequals. Mystical Ninja did nto start OR end with "starring Goemon". But it ended for us in the U.S.

Not counting mobile games, there was about 4 more games released. There are TONS of Mystical Ninja games out there though, and other things too.

How about Halo 3? Halo 3 needs a sequel. (Let me remind you that Halo Wars, Halo ODST, and Halo Reach are all prequels.) There's nothing wrong with wondering for yourself what happens to Master Chief instead of needing somebody to tell you. But due to the fact that only HALF of all the released Halo games allow you to play the guy you actually care about, just one more game where you play as him again should be released to balance things out.

....and a sequel to Red Dead(a prequel showing John in Dutchs gang would be good to)

Okami (not one for the DS... An actual sequel on something I own would be nice)
Dark Cloud (Loved the 1st game. 2nd one not as much, but it was still fun)

I'm well aware that there are sequels in existance, what I meant was that the series in general needs to keep getting sequels. Same with the other series I listed, there are already sequels to half life, metroid, baldur's gate, etc. I just want more of them.

Ratchet and Clank have a number of sequels:

Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked
And they've continued the series onto the ps3 with the Ratchet and Clank: Future series.

I agree that Baldur's gate should have a sequel on the ps2, come to think of it i might have actually seen one, the end of the story was such a cliffhanger.

I'm well aware that there are sequels. What I meant was that the series needs to keep going. Same thing with the other titles I listed that have sequels likes Dark Alliance, Metroid Prime, Half-Life, etc. Yes there are sequels, but I want more sequels.

OT: KOTOR - KOTOR 2 didn't do it justice because of the glaringly unfinished state of the game; still I enjoyed it, just not as much as I could have. That said, KOTOR 2 kinda should have had a sequel to explain what happens next...
Really though, KOTOR didn't need a sequel; the plot was concluded; a sequel should have either been a prequel, explaining why the events of KOTOR 1 happened or alternatively set much later with less connection to the first.

I really enjoyed KOTOR 2, despite it's flaws. I thought it was a really good middle game (let down badly in some places, but overall) that set the scene perfectly for an epic concluding third installment.

So I'm going to be predictable and say I WANT KOTOR 3. Don't give me any of that Old Republic bs .

Yeah, KOTOR 2 was good (which, considering its unfinished state is a glaring indictment for a lot of games), but it could have been so much better; I confess I played it through something like 20 times, but there were certain things that just bugged me about it. And yeah, although TOR looks interesting, I suspect most of the KOTOR fans out there would prefer another Bioware-KOTOR.

Eternal Darkness 2 would be lovely, as far as survival horror games go I love it even more than Silent Hill 2.

Deathrow now please. It is in my opinion the greatest game that nobody has ever heard of. The idea has such promise, all it needs is some fine tuning and some more content. I will never stop harping on this game until it happens.

I'd like an ending to Republic Commando, it's climax was an obvious sequal hook and it's the best Sci-Fi shooter not named Halo i've ever played.

And now the big one..../deep breath....Jade Empire. I normally trust you with things Bioware, but i'm sick of waiting on this one. Give me a fucking sequel to the best game you've ever made you bastards! /pant pant...Come on Bioware, as much as I love Mass Effect and Dragon Age they will never surpass the joy Jade Empire gave me. Please, make another game in the series. Think of how amazing the vibrant world of Jade Empire could look in HD.

One of the things OpFor had that HL1 had was that you were a part of the military and the allies you could get to follow you didn't always have 9mm pistol which was often pretty useless if you were fighting anything tougher than a vortigaunt

While in OpFor your team-mates had shotguns, Desert Eagles and M249 making them actually useful to bring along with you
