Legend of Dragoon was flippin awesome, I would love a current-gen remake, or a sequel. I had the Gust of Wind Dance sequence down to an art form.Daedalus1942 said:I can't believe I forgot about Legend of Dragoon. Possibly one of the first games ever to incorporate real-time elements into turn based battles. Seriously, though, this game was awesome. I still like to bust it out and play it every now and again. I agree, a current-gen would be great, preferably using less than four discs.
People at the time said it was a final fantasy ripoff, and I have to say they were wrong.
The game was nothing like Final Fantasy 7, 8 or 9 (I use these examples as Legend of Dragoon used active computer graphic models laid over a pre-rendered photo-realistic background just like those other 3 games), but fuck it was great.
Hard at times though.
I had a bit of trouble on those... oh crap I forget what they were called. They were the enemies of the Winglies. Massive behemoth beast things with wings.
As did we all.taekwondonut said:Legend of Dragoon was flippin awesome, I would love a current-gen remake, or a sequel. EDIT: Just kidding I lied.
Doesn't count if it's on a different platform that I don't have! Now, if it's nicely ported to PS3, I'm in.comadorcrack said:Actually there is a new on coming. Not exactly a sequel, but its coming for the DS.Nerdfury said:On topic: Okami. /thread forever.
OT: I don't want to see any game have a sequel really...
Ooo Doubt it. I'd gather they'll use a lot more complex drawing things this time, cos they can be more precise on the DSNerdfury said:Doesn't count if it's on a different platform that I don't have!
