Somehow, the games industry seems determined to continue making games in seriously overdone franchises (Mario, anyone?!) but leaves a lot of good possibilities alone!

I can't confirm anything as I am "just some guy on the internet" but the folks over at G4 are confident that just such and HD port (both games on one disc)is going to be made in time to promote the release of Last Guardian. They are seldom wrong so here's hoping. I would love that too.

None. I don't want any more sequels. The industry is full of sequels and remakes right now. It's ridiculous. Halo 3? Cod 6? God of War 3? Crackdown 2? Ninety-Nine Nights 2? Dead Space 2? Do i really have to go on?

I want to see companies start to innovate and come up with new ideas rather than rehash or continue 'safe' franchises.

Err, I have to attribute the Halo and God of War sequels to people enjoying the story and wanting proper closure, not just because its a "safe" game to make, though I do agree that that does take some part in it.

OT: I agree with what someone else said with a sequel for Resistance 2, at least to make it a trilogy. Though I'd have to say that it might be a rather difficult thing to achieve, what with

The main character getting a bullet in the head from one of his teammates as he started to turn...though there's probably a way they could twist that to continue the story. Hale clone perhaps? Or him developing a new form of the auto regen and having memory loss from the bullet to the head, ala Wolverine style? But then how would they be able to explain the super powers...

I would love to see a 2nd "Legend of Dragoon" I believe that came out before FFX. It was a wonderful game to play and I really enjoyed it! I think it and FFX was last turn based RPG i liked , sad too
