Spore without a doubt.

I was expecting more from Red Faction Guerilla as well.

When I saw it my jaw dropped in amazement, but when you get ingame and you can go around smashing up anything and anything it's hard not to call it terrorism, even if your fighting the most corrupt goverment mankind has ever seen.

Then like said before, when you meet Dan Mason it pretty much spells "I am going to die, like it or not." I wasn't expecting him to die in the tutorial in a very none-epic way.

RUN Alec!
*Alec trips over*
*Dan get's mowed down in chaingun fire.
*Alec wakes up with no emotion what-so-ever.

Two Worlds. I like RPGs and I like the open-worldness it advertised. However I smelt a rat when it said on the back "Like Oblivion on steroids". So yeah, I wish it was an original, good game instead of the crappy plagiaristic game I got.

I loved StarFox64 like a father loves his child, and StarFox Adventures broke my heart. I remember playing through the whole thing, wanting to like it, powered by fanboy fervor, and then as the credits rolled up at the end, I had the moment of epiphany..."That was terrible."

I had similar experiences with Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3...they were good, maybe even great, but they didn't match those which came before them.

Dawn of War 2
Champions Online
Age Of Conan
Warhammer Online
Chess Titans (!)
All of them, except for Chess Titans (wut?) and CO, since Champions Online isn't that bad. It just lacks a bit of content. Also Neverwinter Nights 2, because compared to the first game it sucked donkey balls. On its own it was decent, but not nearly as good as NwN 1.

Uhm. You ARE playing a terrorist. Blowing up buildings belonging to a government and killing everyone on your way? Yup.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 [it could have been SOOOOOO much better >.<]
So true. My friend and I are big Marvel buffs and the idea of playing out the Civil War sounded like a dream come true to us. When we gave it a rental and played through the campaign, we realized that the whole game was basically falsely advertised, because the Civil War was for around three missions in the middle sandwiched by some lame storyline about nanomachines.

simcity societies. I usually liked simcity, but from what I heard about it, it wasn't worth spending 20 quid on it.

Resident evil 5 had a stupid ass story line and was way to short, don't get me started on the zombies with guns, LAME!
And also every final fantasy game made after 7.
The Saw game had horrible controls and could have been much better.

KOTOR II: TSL
I wish this thing had an actual ending...
Deus Ex : Invisible War
Could've been so good, but it's been dumbed down too much.

Assassin's Creed
Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely loved the game, just the missions kinda sucked, assassinations were awesome though.

This one! It seemed sooo promising despite the apparent lack of a creative title, which incidentally is another thing that needed fixing to make it better.

Also KOTORII, that game had so many features I liked, but the story was just so incomplete, and the ending was... well there was no ending. Not that I'd count as an ending anyway.

Far Cry 2, that game had so much potential, and the only reason why istill have it is because of a few gigs worth of maps. Yeah im a map editor now get used to it.
