Jet Force Gemini! I remember when Rare was a legendary and honored name. After the events of Kameo and Perfect Dark 0, my hopes for a sequel/remake disappeared, but I guess if its just a graphical update, they couldn't hurt much, right?

firstly, remakes are terrible. Such obvious nostalgia milking is the ultimate evidence of the low regard publishers have for gamers.

secondly:

FF7, preferably on multiple formats, because I never had the chance to play it and now I'm away from the PS2 for months at a time (being at university I don't have access to it when it's owned by the whole family, I'm stuck with the old 360 instead). Also, American McGee's Alice, but that's only because I can't find it anywhere and a remake would be released all over the place, meaning I could find it with little/no effort (yes, I'm lazy...).

Fuck FFVII. being the first competent 3d rpg did not make it good. it was a mediocre game at best with a ridiculous plot, a sub-par character management system, and an average at best battle system. not the classic everybody makes it out to be, I'm afraid.

also, mcgee is doing you one better: a sequel! If you want to play the original game, ebay or the pirate bay are your only hope.

Well, I don't really want to pay for a pirated copy and the Pirate Bay are (hopefully) about to be closed down anyway, so I guess I'll have a look at eBay later...

Xtreme_Phoenix - No disrespect, but I'm asking about games YOU(!) WOULD like to see.. forgetting the concepts of 'if they were remade correctly or incorrrectly'. It's basically just a question without the 'gamer polictical' corrections.

I mean, for example, you must've played games that have changed your opinion on computer games and made you want to play more games (if you know what I mean), if so, what are these games? And why would you like to see them?

-Fallout 1. I really want to see the L.A. Boneyard done with today's graphics engines.
-Shattered Steel.
-Descent 2.
-Quake. (First one)
-Operation Carnage.
-Sonic 3.
-Shining Force (mainly so the combat sequences look better)
-Battletoads.

Also, yes to Jet Force Gemini, Oddworld, and Streets of Rage.

TeS III: Morrowind, due to..... well...... all I'll say is I had a hard time figuring out what was a live there.

Ape Escape. Always loved it. Never not-fun. Just bad graphics.

Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. 50 remakes in the series, and still not a single one of the best three???

Tecmo's Deception. I do not believe it was a big hit at all, but awesome game.

As long as the music & voice actors stay the same & new levels are added.....

1)American McGee's Alice. (A sequel is being made, but it's not a remake).
2)Final Fantasy 7. (I want the biseinenness of Advent Children).
3)Serious Sam II. (No design change, just more levels & more crazy funny shit).
4)Diablo. (Secret Cow 3D).
5)Baldur's Gate II (so it looks more like Neverwinter Nights).
6)Morrowind (Because the mods clash & aren't stable).
7)All of the pre-Morrowind Elder Scrolls games. (DOS Box not included).

I'd rather have the first Serious Sam. I felt like they tried to hard to make the second one a serious game. I can't even remember if the first had a plot but i do know it was the most fun I've ever had in a game.
