Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. 50 remakes in the series, and still not a single one of the best three???
Too right man, easily the best Pokemon games In my opinion. I'd support a remake of them, as well as a remake of Vice City, and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System

As long as the music & voice actors stay the same & new levels are added.....

1)American McGee's Alice. (A sequel is being made, but it's not a remake).
2)Final Fantasy 7. (I want the biseinenness of Advent Children).
3)Serious Sam II. (No design change, just more levels & more crazy funny shit).
4)Diablo. (Secret Cow 3D).
5)Baldur's Gate II (so it looks more like Neverwinter Nights).
6)Morrowind (Because the mods clash & aren't stable).
7)All of the pre-Morrowind Elder Scrolls games. (DOS Box not included).
I'd rather have the first Serious Sam. I felt like they tried to hard to make the second one a serious game. I can't even remember if the first had a plot but i do know it was the most fun I've ever had in a game.
At least we have Serious Sam 3 due this year.

Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2.
Criticom (sweet fighting game from the saturn)
Virtual On (robot fighting at its best, a sort of precursor to the Gundams)
Three Dirty Dwarves
Herc's Adventures
the last two had to have been 2 of the funniest games I played.

Gargoyle's Quest and Demon's Crest need a new game badly. Firebrand is one of the most badass videogame heroes I've seen, and yet he gets so little recognition. It kind of ties into the Ghouls and Goblins idea, since he first appeared as the Imp in those games. I'd love to see a 3D adventure game with Firebrand as the protagonist. I still think Gargoyles Quest II is the best looking NES game I've ever played.

Final Fantasy VII should absolutely be redone. For one, it was teased during the next-gen E3 show. For two, it somehow went from one of the most important RPGs ever made to being as toxic a stain on a gamer reputation as "Hello Kitty: Island Adventures." I don't really get how this happened, it was a very well done story with memorable characters (minus Cait-Sith) that nearly by itself made the RPG a viable genre again. Only Shining Force II and Baldur's Gate hold as important a place in my gaming vault.

-TESIII: Morrowind
-Jet Force Gemeni
-Banjo Kazooie (not the childhood raping new one)
-Banjo Tooie (again ^)
--KOTORII-They left out so much stuff because of when it had to be released, I would really like to see how they wanted it to turn out.
-Beyond Good and Evil-I know there is a sequel coming out some time but a remake to tie us over would be nice, mainly because I cannot find it anywhere!
--0maybe not a remake but how about an Elder Scrolls game with current tech. that doesn't suck completely? Who else is with me?
-many more to name but cannot think of right now.

-- edited.

FF VII. Haters be damned. It's not about how good the game was or wasn't, it's all about nostalgia. Much like old cars - they're essentially shit compared to modern vehicles, but they evoke such memories and feelings.

Oh, and Ultima 6, Savage Empire and Martian Dreams. And Carmageddon.

I agree, I think FF7 is one of those games you'll never forget. I've also said to a few people that if the PS3 did a remake, I would actually purchase one. Good choice man.

Hi all, first post here.. looks like a decent gaming forum!

2. Ghouls and Ghosts (Megadrive/Genesis version, although I'm unsure if the SNES version was the same!) - Another classic game, the countless hours of fun I've had playing this game with family and friends at an early age is stupidly long. Sometimes I wish I could go back and experience this game all over again as if it were brand new!
I remember the SNES version, I've been looking everywhere for the GBA port

Even though I'm getting a PS3 soon, I would love to play a remake. I have the game but for some reason every time I try to play it in my PS2, the memory card gets wiped, doesn't matter which card so I can never beat the game.

FF7, preferably on multiple formats, because I never had the chance to play it and now I'm away from the PS2 for months at a time (being at university I don't have access to it when it's owned by the whole family, I'm stuck with the old 360 instead). Also, American McGee's Alice, but that's only because I can't find it anywhere and a remake would be released all over the place, meaning I could find it with little/no effort (yes, I'm lazy...).

I'm sure I could find more, HOWEVER, if you've read these then you can tell which game I would want to have remade....

Really? I always thought it was just the hipsters and the people who hate JRPGs on principal who tend to diss it.
