Star Wars TIE Fighter and Star Wars X-Wing, two flight simulator games from the nineties in the same vein as Combat Flight Simulator but in space and with pre-established mythology. Would do well with a graphical update and would be a nice change from the Lego and movie games the Star Wars franchise has been more than happy to spew out lately.
Pretty much this, also Commander Keen.

Ocarina of Time (with Twilight Princess style/graphics)
Final Fantasy VII (with XIII style/graphics)
Halo (could redo the campaign as an add-on for Halo 3 with it's graphics) AND BRING BACK THE AWESOME PISTOL!
Super Smash Bros. 64 (on DS, with GOOD online PLEASE!)
Well they just released SSB for VC in Japan, if SmashWiki is to be believed (don't ask, I was bored today). Though that probably isn't what you're looking for, just to let you know.
Well, a hacked Wii can run pretty much any N64 Rom you can find when executed right. I want to play SSB on the go! Or in an airplane!

Dungeon Keeper & Tyrian.
Just got to ask if you mean the side scrolling C64 bloke with a big gun game or the vertically scrolling shoot em up with a carrot as secret ship? Either is a cool adition tbh as they were both excelent games. Is it too late to swap one of mine lol?
i mean the scrolling shoot em up with a carrot as a secret ship

I'm really surprised nobody beat me to it but Star Fox 64
it would be amazing to get to relive barrel rolling with modern graphics

Something scary like the first Silent Hill, or Dino Crisis; all the ?horror? games at the moment are just shooters reaching ever increasing heights on the blood-o-meter.

PS1 final fantasy games.
Metal Gear Solid 1 (without the atrocious music and general hollywood effect that Twin Snakes had.)
Resident Evil 2 and 3, preferably for Wii but with original controls (i.e. Not resi 4/5).

Basically all the games off the PS1 that I loved, with upgraded graphics and possibly a few goodies but no extra gameplay aspects, with the same music as the original and same script.
I noticed that Twin Snakes was too easy as it had controls to advanced to suit what may have well been a 2D game in terms of level design.
OT but I would like to see some scene-forscene remakes of the old Hammer Horror Films but with slightly less laughable effects.

Just to update the graphics I'd say Thief 2; the game is ace but would be improved no end if the aesthetics were brought up to date

Perfect Dark.

Ala Perfect Dark Zero without the massive amount of bone and soul crushing fail.

The Star Wars: Jedi Knight games would be nice done with force unleashed graphics, i'd die a content old man. (For those of you who get the joke, I applaud)

That's it for the graphic updates (Oh i'd pay $20 on XBL to get a modern era graphics version of PD...)

On the 'Remade, renewed, recycled, better' side of things.

Transformers. An oldish game from the PS2 that was... Horrible, horrendous. It had you wandering about a featureless wasteland or in canyons until you found a invisible wall. You killed enemies and then the wall disappeared, this repeated itself.

An update for the 360/PS3 with you playing through the original G1 episodes? Hell, i'd shell out $100 (Or $120 for the special edition!) on launch day!

Spore. I was all 'Whut? Lol, best be joking here!' when I bought it and played it. Fun, but... Hardly any substance, where's my aquatic species? Where the heck are my underwater cities? Where are my space stations?! Where the bloody hell is my armada?

...I want my death gloopagrob. And so, this comes under, $30 expansions? Gimme my space stations to defend my planets. And my giant orbital laser. And my armada of space ships to raze hell on planets, What? I only get -FIVE- maximum and they do nothing... Stupid friends, cant be trusted to even defend themselves.

They shouldnt re-make gamees I think unless you can make them better for example Twin Snakes and The Resident Evil 1 re-make was good.

But if you re-make soemthing you wont get that same feeling from when you played it back in the day. You wouldnt get that nostalgia feeling you get when you play a really decent old game again.

So im for and against it.

Dont think there are any games i want to see re-made but id like to see how the re-make of Klanoa on the wii turns out.

I'm tempted to say The Longest Journey, but when I think about it some of those gorgeous backdrops worked just fine in 2D. It might be nice to make the characters look less like paper cutouts but apart from that the game stands up okay.
