Games you've ALMOST finished but never will?

Metroid Prime 2. Too much damned purple! I've played the original through a couple of times but don't have the interest to complete the second.

Prey too. I'm halfway through the game and was enjoying it enough but it doesn't have the hook to drag me back to it.

Deus Ex... got really near the end then the game crashed and wiped all my saves, I won't play it again just so I won't have to relive that.
Metal Gear Solid... bought a copy of Ebay, put disc one in my PS2 and it ate it . It was playable on my PS1 up to the point where Meryl gets shot (which I think annoyingly is just where you change to disc 2).

i borrowed Metroid Prime off a friend and completed i without too much trouble (meta ridley was a ***** but i got him eventually). I then borrowed Prime 2: Echoes and i got to the point where you get given clue on the location of 9 keys. the clues made no sense so i wondered around and managed to find 8 of them. i CANNOT find the last one. according to the clue it 'lies on a fortress of dry land' but it looks like its going to stay there!

Metroid Prime 2. Too many places to go, too much backtracking to do.

Also, GTA2. It just got too hard in the third level.

Oh, also Gears of War and Saint's Row.

Star Ocean Till the end of time, that end boss was just a little too much for me...

I can't really remember because their were so many on my Xbox 1, I bought so many games I just didn't finish, thats what led to my golden rule, when I got my 360 I took a solemn vow to complete every game I get on it even if its only on easy. I'm glad to say such a rule has lead to longevity in my games and more money, huzzah! Super Smash Bros Brawl is agreeably the most annoying slog I've not completed yet, I just do it for the cut scenes where at least one person in every one of them gets their arse handed to them.

Loads of games have passed by unfinished but the two i regret not finishing most are Morrowind and Fallout.

Morrowind i was loving but then went away to far away lands and never had the motivation to go back to vvardenfell.

Fallout I tired to play a year or two ago cause I never had but despite it having a pleasantly dark sense of humor and loads of freedom, which I would normally love. I think I went into to tick it off the list so to speak which kinda tempered my ability to enjoy it.

I got pissed off with Black, played it on hard until the final fight at the end where you have to kill hundreds of people. Got down to 1 person after about 15 tries and he got a cheap shot off at me and killed me. Can't be bothered to go back.

Really? I beat Black on the hardest difficulty and collected everything on each mission and didn't find it that hard. Maybe it was just because I had beaten it on each difficulty before that twice over and knew exactly what to do.

Another couple I never finished are KH1 and 2 and Shadow of the Colossus. Im on the final boss for both KH games and just don't want to fight him. Shadow is hard though, I'm on the second last guy and am just sick of riding all over the place to find him... maybe someday I'll do it.

Excellent adventure game, but the last parts are so hard to finish. I really enjoyed the game until that point and had no intention to let it become a grinding thing, so I looked up the ending part on youtube.

Only rpg I really played. I loved it until I got into... Baldur's Gate itself. After that I never touched any RPG. But that's because of gaming preference...

Got to the last level, can get through it to the last boss. Couldn't beat the bastard, and now my Dreamcast's fucked, so I can't play it unless it gets rereleased on a newer console (XBLA please, Treasure, if you're listening).

Bioshock - probably about 20-30 minutes from the end, literally cannot give a crap how it turns out. Put it away never to be touched again.

SuperMario 64 - all but the very last star.
PerfectDark 64 - end boss unrelentingly hard, had enough fun, time to play something else now.

GTA vice city got to the mission near the end wen you are in a car race. The guy your facing has a sports car you have an old banger, i tryed over 100 times, then was like screw the rules i have money tryed to blow him up still did not work then gave up have not gone back

Kingdom Hearts II, I know that you get to see a special ending if you complete the game 100% before the last boss battle, and so I did that, and then I just sorta lost the will to play it anymore after that. So I just have one final boss battle to do, and I just haven't done it. I wanted to finish it awhile ago but I lost my disk.

Neverwinter Nights 2.

I got very far (middle of act 3), and stopped playing. Couldn't find my save all this time later, and I just don't want to play the entire game again just to get to the ending, which I hear isn't that good anyways.
