Games you've bought 3 times?

I just browsed the Steam store and saw that, due to QuakeCon, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition Deluxe is on sale for $8.49.

Long ago, my friend showed me the wonder that was Morrowind. I didn't play it much, but when its little brother entered the sanctity of my Xbox 360 disc drive, I fell in love.

Since then it has become my favorite game. I played it forever, charging through all the sidequests and expansions and enjoying every kick-ass second of it. After I got a new computer, I decided to buy it again. The PC version is better anyways, and I love mods.

Now, I've lost my cd and I didn't get all the content I got on Xbox Live. The opportunity to secure both of those for less than ten bucks was too good to pass up.

Now that my raving is done, tell me your stories. Are there any games you've cherished so as to re-purchase them twice?

I bought Windwaker twice.
Fallout 3 twice, once as Xbox, once as PC.
And I think maybe that's it?

Nope. Chances are if I'm getting a game for the second time, it's a PC version so I can get my hands on the engine.

Of course, since my computer is pushing past four years old my selection of applicable PC titles is extremely slim.

Hey, I almost bought Oblivion three times, too. I bought it for PC, then the disc messed up. I bought it for Xbox 360, then the disc messed up. I almost bought it today on Steam, especially since it wouldn't be on one of Bethesda's shoddy discs, but I have to save money since I pre-ordered Mafia II.

And that pre-order means I've bought Mafia twice.

I've bought the Diablo 2 battlechest 3 times. Not to mention buying the individual games as they came out.

I'm not really sure why, but I have a severe inability to keep track of just that game. No matter now though, I've got Torchlight.

I bought the original Digimon World twice. I lost it the first time, and after playing it for about three months after I bought it again, I found it. Good times.

I did rent it before I bought it the first time though, so that kinda makes it three times, right?

I got 4 copies of Diablo 2... what can I say it's just THAT good!

Also I got Oblivion, Fallout 3 and MW2 on 360, Ps3 and PC.

Okami - Just because i'm a fan of the franchise so 1 Used PS2, 1 PS2 new (never out of wrapings) and one for the Wii

I bought Primal five times.

Every time I played the game it froze on the SAME damn part! But I loved the game so much I kept buying it over and over again until finally I got a copy that didn't freeze! I'm convinced 'till this day that Toys R Us just kept sellin' me back the same copy until the last time.

Sounds silly but Pokemon puzzle league. I have bought that game 3 different times. Every time i decide I want to sell my N64 I sell all my games. Well somehow I end up getting another 64 and every time I get one I make sure to trackdown and buy Pokemon puzzle league and Zeldacarina of time.

I have one mint condition FF IX, one identical copy that no longer wants to work and a platinum version that I now use.

I can't say I've ever done something like that. I bought Red Dead Redemption twice, once for myself and the other for my brother's birthday. That's pretty much it.

Though I could see myself buying a game I used to own off Steam or something. (*coughKOTORcough*)

EDIT: Oh wait, I did buy Sonic Adventure twice on the Dreamcast. My first disk got all scratched up and stuff.

I've bought Star Trek Elite Force 2 twice because I couldn't find one of the CD's to my first copy and I bought Trials 2 twice because the second copy was in a games package on steam, I ended up just gifting it to a friend.

I've also bough Garry's Mod and Day of Defeat Source about 5 times each just because I have friends at the time didn't have anyway of buying them off Steam, so I bought it, then they paid me back.

Also, I've got roms of most of my old NES and SNES games, but those are free, so...

I've never bought a game more than once. I keep my copies of games, and don't see much of a reason to buy games for my console and computer.

given the steam sale Im severly tempted to buy oblivion a 3rd time, I originaly got it for the pc back when my machine wasnt that good so I returned it and got it for the 360 but I traded it in long ago
