Resident Evil 5 because of the co-op...and then the DLC (which was pretty bad).

I've ended up buying quite a lot of games twice such as Dead Rising, Borderlands and quite a few of the Conflict series on the original Xbox (Conflict Desert Storm, Vietnam etc).

I'm a bit of a sucker for (split screen) co-op games :/

I was all ready to say, "Never before have I purchased a game more than once! I never sell my games, and have no reason to purchase one again." But I was wrong. Resident Evil 4 for the Cube. Then later, because it had the expansion stuff, RE4 for the PS2 (never knowing it was a downgraded port). Before that, RE: Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, and then later, the PS2, enabling me to sell the Dreamcast. I got the machine just FOR RE: Code Veronica. So I wasn't sad to see it go. I was upset that I should have gone with my instinct, which was to wait for the port I was sure to see one day.

I was a huge RE fan, back when. :)

The Lost in Darkness one wasn't to bad, actually. They proved that even with the RE4/5 style engine, you could make a respectable survival horror RE. It's a shame that they went with action horror, but, yaknow. I rather liked the mansion thing. It was very nostalgic. :)

However, the follow-up DLC... the crap on the cliff sides were basically one giant survival mission. I did not enjoy.

I do have to admit the mansion was pretty creepy, and being chased around by those executioner like things whilst not being able to fight back did make the whole experience exciting, but I was hoping for typical zombies, and I thought it was a bit short.

The change was nice but I wanted more :]

All this talk of resi 5... If I end up buying that game again

I bought Jagged Alliance 2 three times. The first copy a friend of mine borrowed, but he lost it. Bought a second copy and a few years later I bought the Gold edition.

No regrets. Best game EVAH! In my opinion.

OH i've bought alot of old games over and over again I cant even begin to recount them all BUT recently I bought sold then bought Mass effect one and two.

I got really far in MA1 but then it glitched and I was stuck in an Elevator. So I said "fuck it its not worth playing it all again" so I sold it. The next day I missed it so much I went to the store and bought it back cause I really wanted to play it again...worth it.

Only games I've purchased twice are because they came in a bundle. I have 2 copies of HL2, due to the orange box.
Thought I had 2 others that were dupes, then I remembered my "first" copy of both were illegitimate ones ><. Oh well, here's one for legality!

Morrowind- I just tend to lose it. And people borrow it.
Deus Ex- fifteen copies, I collect them. No. 12 is my favorite, a friend spent ages looking for it to give to me as a present. She wasn't particularly amused when, upon her giving it to me, I showed her my eleven other copies.

This is why I don't like selling my games. I may have all the trophies to be had in RE:5, but I'll still enjoy going back now and again. Still haven't really touched Merc missions.

Only SSB Melee because I thought I lost the disc and then found it again. Then I bought an NTSC version to see what the differences are.

Also I lost my Ocarina in Time catridge so I got another and I also have Master Quest which came with WW if that counts.

Never bought a game three times but I have bought a second copy on occasions.
GTA IV PS3 + PC (Steam sale)
Mass Effect XBOX360 + PC (Steam sale)
Fallout 3 + GOTY PC (DLC £8x5 or GOTY for £20)
BF2142 PC (Sat on the disc, don't ask)
SW:The Force Unleashed PS3 + PC (Steam sale)
Rome:TW PC (Bought the Total War boxset and got a second copy)
Saint's Row 2 XBOX360 + PC (Steam sale)
Orange Box XBOX360 + PC
Just Cause PS2 + PC (Steam bundle with Batman: Arkham Asylum)

Think that's it.
