ive had three versions of baldurs gate 1 and 2 versions on baldurs gate 2.

Baldurs gate 1 i got from my uncle when he got it with his pc and didnt play it then years later i found a copy that came with the expansion pack. The 3rd copy i got was when i finally found the expansion for bladurs gate 2 which came with baldurs gate 1 and its expansion and bladurs gate 2. I already had baldurs gate 2 at this point which brings me to 2 versions of that came. still it was all money well spent as i put many many hours into those games, such a shame my laptop died and i cant play them anymore

Had my first copy of modern warfare, brother knocks over the xbox with the disc still in it. I get another copy. I lend it to my mate, and by the time i get it back it's split down the middle.

Hopefully this 3rd copy should last longer. =D

I bought Oblivion three times I think, I had to re-buy it for the Xbox 360 after stupidly carrying the 360 with the disc in the drive, completely destroying the disc >.< After that, I got it for PC because I heard that there were awesome mods/cheats for it. Oblivion is still one of my favourite games ever :p

I've owned Tekken Tag Tournament about five times because I used to trade in a lot. And recently I bought FF13 again because I actually 'missed it'.

HL2. First time stand-alone, later Orange Box, later another Orange Box but for my best friend, to play TF2 with.

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, once for 20 euros on pc. Then on PS3 because I wanted to play it at home on a big screen in HD. And last week, I bought another Limited Edition of it for... 1 euro. Seriously.

Duke Nukem 3D was bought many times, as I loved mapmaking for that game. I kept losing the disc/heavy use killed it a few times, so I had to rebuy it. Wasn't to expensive though, about 1 euro per new copy (was in the bargain bins).

I bought Vexx for the PS2 like 3 times. I kept getting frustrated with it (it's fucking harsh), and back then i could only afford a few games at a time, so it was an obvious candidate for a trade-in.

I kept rebuying it though because it was awesome and i never quite completed it, and then trading it back in when i got pissed off and wanted to try out a new game.

Resident Evil 4. Bought the GC original on Launch Day, bought the PS2 version on launch day for the Ada missions, bought the Wii version on launch day to try out the motion controls. Granted, the Wii version was only $20 but it was still 3 purchases. Someone actually gave me the PC version for Christmas last year as a bit of a gag gift. If I hadn't sold my Wii and gotten rid of all the games, I'd still have all four copies.

Broken Sword, the Shadow of the Templars. For GBA, then PC for the voice acting then Wii for to look pretty on my shelf.

Mass Effect. Must have played through about six or seven times - if not entirely then mostly through each time. Got it before I'd got my 360 pre-owned, then when I'd loaned it to a friend for him to get sucked into it I saw the Classics edition free with the Bringing Down the Sky DLC for only £10 on Play.com, so I figured I would. That DLC's only 80 microsoft points now, too. :(
Then during those crazy summer sales, ME and ME2 both for like £25 together. Impulse purchase and caching. Not sure if I can play my 360 purchased DLC on the PC version when I get some good hardware.

Only twice, Tachyon the Fringe. Got it for a birthday by a shop person's recommendation to my sister and ten years later I saw it on steam and wanted it for the convenience. Only £3 afterall and it was an amazing sci-fi adventure for me back in the day.

Forbidden Siren 2, my disc just stopped playing for some reason, I dunno what it was, but I had to have another copy. I've 2 Sonic Adventures, one is the DX for PC and one came with my Dreamcast when I bought it a few months ago. I want to buy Fahrenheit, I miss it terrible.

I bought the original Digimon World twice. I lost it the first time, and after playing it for about three months after I bought it again, I found it. Good times.

I did rent it before I bought it the first time though, so that kinda makes it three times, right?
Oh man I'd forgotten about that game.. ah fond memories of cleaning up monster poop

On topic I've never bought a game more than once - never broke a disc or wanted to play a game I have on a console on my PC (it's the same game why bother?)

I have GTA: Vice City three times and all available for me to play in the room I'm in. I originally got it on PS2 at launch, then as part of the GTA double pack which was released on Xbox and finally a few months ago I bought it on steam while it was dirt cheap.

I love that game.

I own a version of FF4(FF2) for the SNES, PS1, GBA and DS.

It's not even my favorite FF game either. I just buy it because I can. I've also bought FFX-2 twice because it's a guilty pleasure game, and I needed it after I traded it to a friend for FFX, but I was aching to play it one day and went out and bought it.

But yeah, those are the two games I've gone out and bought the most. I think I've bought Civ 4 when it came out, and after I lost a disc, I went and bought the Gold version of it.
