Little Nemo: The Dream Master

High difficulty level coupled with my own ineptitude at 8-bit platformers (that seems to be my gaming blindspot for some reason)

Also, Crash Twinsanity. Because in my opinion, it sucked.

Bad Company 2. Had the same problem with 1; took me a year to actually finish it.

FFX-2 and FFXII, because they just weren't entertaining.
Same here, just couldn't bring myself to play through the awfulness.

On a side note i also couldn't bring myself to finish The Last Remnant.

TES4: Oblivion
Burnout: Legends
Dragon Age: Origins
Splinter Cell
DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil
Dark Cloud
Rock Raiders
Rome - Total War
Penumbra Overture
N
Final Fantasy 3 (DS)
Mario & Luigi - Partners in Time (DS)

Mostly because I've just not got round to it, sometimes for more than 5 years. I've also got so close in some of them that I just stopped right before the end of the campaign without bothering to finish it.

Having almost 3 decades in gaming, my pile is far too huge to remember. However 99.9% of what I didnt finish was because the game simply wasnt enjoyable.

The only real exception to that would be Final fantasy 9, Simply because the game was such a tribute to the old school FF experience, that I couldnt bring myself to finish it simply because I didnt want it to end.

Quite a few but i'm not listing them all haha.

First one that comes to mind is bomberman 64. I'm just not going to get all those bloody gold cards to do the final mission.

Where to start, I don't finish that many games because I like to jump around from game to game so as a short list: DDS2,Devil Survivor,Strange Journey,Tales of Legendia,Tales of the Abyss,Lost Odyssey, Shinobi(PS2),Mario 1/3,Metroid Prime 2,Wild Arms 3,Persona 1(probably never finish),P3P,Parasite Eve,God Hand,Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Dragon Quest 8.These are just the ones off the top of my head there are many more.

Most recently I gave up trying to beat the 2nd last boss in Front Mission Evolved, fuck that guy.
Only other two I think of off the top of my head are Assassins Creed and Heavenly Sword, both games that have late fight sequences that rely way to much on you mastering their terrible combat systems so I never beat them.

overlord 2: I tried the final boss a couple of times, turned of the game, and... just never tried it again. I even uninstalled it, and have not installed it since.

I haven't gotten further than level 5 or 6. The puzzle with the computers was frustrating for my 5 years old brain bent on shooting dinosaurs. After I finally finished that level I had to drop bombs in Raptor nests. I didn't knew if I had to detonate them remotely or something, the cave didn't crash when I went outside. So I checked inside and BOOM!
Game Over.
Rage Quit.
Sold the game.
Might be looking for emulator to finish my very first game. ONCE AND FOR ALL!

I've put games down because they were just BAD, and so only a few have slipped by. If I don't count games that I only played casually, then only Mechwarrior 3. I was eight or so when I first played it, and never beat it, but haven't bothered installing it since then.

I always seem to get to toward the end of final Fantasy games then stop playing.
Other than that, Oblivion. I always get bored of it by the time I get round to doing the main quest, I'm getting pretty close now though.
