Resident Evil 5. Ahh, zombie death. Definitely less than 8 Hours. lots of running. Come to think of it I think I beat it a couple of times under 10 hrs.

LOL, Not Really, I Won The World Cup As San Marino On The World Cup Game, If That Counts, (I Started At The Group Stages)
I played Road to World Cup 98 to death back in the day---managed to go from the Group Stages all the way to winning the cup as Vanuatu on Professional, but on World Class the weakest team I was able to win it all with was Cameroon---couldn't do it with the true minnows.

On-topic (besides above example), my list is very long of these sorts of games. Fallout 3 was the most recent, but I've also done Final Fantasy 4, 6, 7, and 9, Dragon Quest/Warrior 1 and 4, the NES and SNES Zelda games, an entire Victoria: Revolutions campaign, all the Total War games except Empire and the first Shogun (the former because I never bother to finish a steamroller and the latter because I never played it), and on the SNES version of SimCity I built out the entire map in one sitting.

There are more, but that's just a sampling.

Portal, most Zelda games, Pop SoT and WW, Megaman X, Super Mario RPG and, eye bleedingly, controller snappingly, Shadow of the Colossus.
I'm sure there is more, but these aren't things I have a great memory for.

Games like Mirror's Edge and Bioshock I did most of in one sitting but got sick of and took a break.

Brutal Legend.

"Where I come from, this guitar makes noise. Here, it blows shit up. I can't wait to see what a full on rock concert will do!"

Don't capitalise every word, it makes you look like an asshole.

For me... I think I did Crash Bandicoot 3 in one sitting, that might've been a third or fourth playthrough, I dunno.

Portal
Modern Warfare 2
And most memorably Uncharted 2. me and some friends spent the entire game taking the piss out of the story and characters.

I completed Tommorow Never Dies in one sitting. Not beacuse I wanted to, but beacuse my brother didn't have a memory card for his PlayStation.

EDIT: It took me several hours. I am not sure exactly how many, beacuse I was preety young at the time, but I started in early afternoon and finished in the evening.

Portal, all three 'main' Halos (although only on normal), fable, i think possibly bbioshock 2 as well. Oblivion main quest line. Urrm. PoP. Unlike most people on here, not Mew2 because i played it on veteran the first playthrough and enjoyed it more as a consequence i think. I advise playing all games on something close to the hardest setting because then they arent over too quickly.

First time, through? Not many.

I usually go back through games for speed-runs and other such nonsense.

Here's a few easy ones: Portal, Trine, Braid (though the speedrun wasn't easy), Mirror's Edge, Zombie Driver, Raiden 3, pretty much any fighting game "story mode," UT, Q3A, Doom, Doom2, Duke3D.

Here's a few I'm actually more "proud" of.

Ocarina of Time- Took a while, but it was like the 4th or 5th time I finished the game. I didn't get 100% on this save - there's too many tiny things that you can only do as a kid or before certain things happen that I didn't bother trying to do in this save (beanstalks, etc.)
Starfox 64 - Doesn't sound hard, but I had recently gotten a new cartridge so I had to get all the medals, then beat it on hard, and get all the medals after I unlocked hard-mode too. Which takes at least 6 playthroughs to go to each level, assuming you get the medal the first time - I think in total it took 11 or 12 playthroughs each taking a different route.
Hammerfight - This game isn't exactly easy, but it was very engrossing to me, and I finished the story-mode on the day I started playing it. I started a second play-through to make different choices but never finished that one. I ended up just taking my first play-through and putting it through the Arena matches.

Mafia 2. Bought it last Tuesday lunchtime, had it finished by dawn on Wednesday. Still had a blast with it though, and taking my time with the second playthrough.

Custom Robo (GameCube)
Fable and Fable TLC (xbox)
Super Smash Bros Brawl, Story Mode (Wii)
Halo 3 (360)

I'm sure there's more, but, I can't think of them now.

Gunstar Super Heroes. It only took me a few hours... Way too short, but (IMO) an excellent port/sequel/whatever of a fun Genesis game.

Well, nearly all the games I play are rather epic in play time (R:TW, ME2, Mount&Blade, etc.), but I believe I beat singleplayer Mirror's Edge - or at least nearly all of it - on my first playthrough.

That's a good game.
