Obvious reason:
If I went to church every Sunday, I wouldn't have as much time for gaming. Some of my best gaming is done on a late Saturday & Sunday mornings. If you're Jewish on the other hand, you should't play any games Friday night; a night I often have friends over for gaming.

"open to the possiblity of god existing, but it doesnt really matter. if it doesnt, we need to make this world as good as we can, because its all we have. if it does, then we need to make this world as good as we can because god will reward us/were coming back. now show me proof or stop wasting my time, i have undead to kill.. er, destroy."
afterlife.... maybe, maybe not, ill find out.
astral projection? probably not.

0-24. depends on many factors. 24 generally only happens during a good RPG or RTS campaign.
mainly PC, but a little wii/360/DS/older consoles.
RPG, RTS
maybe people who dont are more likely to be the crazy ridgid non-accepting religious fanatic types who burn books, smart women, anyone more than 2 shades darker or lighter than themselves, and anyone who says anything they dont agree with or understand(likely because this includes video games), but otherwise, no.

1. Age: 21.
2. Gender: female.
3. Religion: atheist. cultural catholic, with interest in a number of pagan pantheons. in short: i love ritual, but i think it's all nonsense.
4. Belief in afterlife: none, but it would be nice to be surprised.
5. Belief in astral projection: haha, absolutely not.
6. Do you game? yes.
7. How many hours a day do you game? i don't game EVERY day, but i've had gaming sessions that lasted over 12 hours.
8. What format(s) do you play? mac, ps2, tabletop.
9. Which is your preferred genre? genre is somewhat irrelevant. a meaningful story with complex characters is what's important.
10. Do you think there could be a link between hours gaming and choice of religion? i'm not completely sure i understand this question. i think that atheists and the non-religious are more inclined to appreciate different forms of media in a deep, meaningful way as we search for a modern mythology of our own.

4."Nothing ever ends"(Perhaps reincarnation, perhaps we just get smaller.)
5.There's a possibility it could exist, however, I'm inclined to say "no" due to a lack of evidence.
6.Yes.
7.It depends, on some days I can go 12 hours, other days none at all.
8. PC, Xbox 360, PS2, Gamecube, DS, SNES.
9.Action/Adventure, FPS/TPS, Fighting, RPG, Sims.
10.No. Well, perhaps. Those who are involved in religious activities will probably have less time on their hands, but that doesn't mean an atheist isn't doing any humanitarian work as well.
