But some religious groups advocate low-technology living (eg, Amisch, Old Order Mennonite) or complete separation from mainstream culture (eg, Hutterite) so in those cases there would certainly be a link.

Obvious reason:
If I went to church every Sunday, I wouldn't have as much time for gaming. Some of my best gaming is done on a late Saturday & Sunday mornings. If you're Jewish on the other hand, you should't play any games Friday night; a night I often have friends over for gaming.

0-24. depends on many factors. 24 generally only happens during a good RPG or RTS campaign.
