Tidus in FFX, Nero in Devil May Cry 4, and the entire invading army in Killzone 2. The first two for being whiny, sulky, cocky man-children, the Killzone 2 crowd for being bloody idiots.

Carth Onasi and Mission Vao. I played as a scoundrel so thankfully I could play the game and avoid her as much as possible. Anyone who has KOTOR 1 and hasn't done it, play good right up to the scene on the last planet where the betrayer (It's an old game but I still want to avoid anything spoilerish) tries to turn you to the darkside. Turn... there are few words for how deliciously villainous what you can do when you get back to the "Not-the-Millenium-Falcon". Force Dominate and really high persuade are a serious help if not a necessity.
Ares in God of War I because that bastard deserved it and Kratos is nothing if not the great equaliser. Zeus in God of War II because when he screwed me over, as he does, I actually had felt betrayed and likewise the joy I felt while kicking his ass was palpable.
I can't remember the character's name but he piloted Anubis in Zone of the Enders I & II. I itched to get my hands on him and the continuous pursuit only made me more happy to tear strips out of him.
Everyone in Halo because not one of them is a believable living breathing character (I give the Master Chief a pass because he was purpose designed to be that way).
Just to add it on as a balance to the question Agro and the hero from Shadow of the Colossus were certainly among the most gut wrenching characters to lose. Whosits is my favourite kind of hero, no super powers, no divine (or infernal) interference, no bells and whistles just pure grit and a refusal to back down. (yes he had a magic sword but the magic sword only made climbing building sized monsters harder I bet)

Gradually dismembering each and every character in Final Fantasy X-2 would bring me irrationally high levels of personal gratification.
Edit: I want to point out that this was technically not my first choice; that was Navi, but everyone seems to want to make a fairy smoothie out of her, so I thought I'd go for broke and bring up a group that offends my every sense (yes, even smell for some reason). Bonus if they'd say "oh poopie" as they die.
