Saudi Arabia. I hate to sound general, but the middle east is filled to the brim with guns. I don't find it surprising that a gun was in such easy access to anybody.Matthew94 said:Why the hell was the gun so easy to access?

The child could break the gun. You know how annoying fixing them is.Istvan said:Oh come on, what's the worst that could possibly happen?Matthew94 said:Why the hell was the gun so easy to access?

Why wouldn't the dad buy his son a Playstation, the dick.
The upside is the son may possibly be able to buy a Playstation with his father's life insurance, smart kid.Well, it depends on what loot he dropped. Any idea what the drop rate is on those? Grinding is always so boring and tedious.
here's the thing though, they don't. I play COD and Halo, but I've never been in a fight (that wasn't justified). Yes, I've been in one or two fights at school, but it was in self defense (kids at my middle school were violent). It's the dads fault for leaving a loaded gun near his four year old.Jawn Ahuehuehue said:maybe these games should be banned
they make us all into violent killars
A four-year-old boy has shot his father in the head, with some reports claiming the father?s refusal to buy the boy a PlayStation sparked the incident.
The Saudi boy and his father had returned home from shopping when his father became distracted, leaving his pistol within reach of his son.
While details from here on are disputed, it?s assumed the boy was playing with the gun when he shot his father in the head, killing him instantly. However, some Arabic press are claiming that the boy shot his father because he refused to purchase a PlayStation, labelling him the youngest murderer in Saudi Arabia.
An angry four-year-old Saudi boy shot and killed his father for refusing to buy him a PlayStation, Saudi media reported on Monday.
The Asharq daily, citing police in the southern Jizan area, said the child, aged four years and seven months, grabbed his father?s pistol and shot him in the head. According to the newspaper, the child had asked his father to buy him a PlayStation and the shooting took place after the man returned home without the desired object.
As he was undressing, the man put the weapon down, which the child then grabbed and fired at him from close range.
Wat. Are the media trolling us? Seriously, are they? The first and last material suggest the kid was playing with the gun. Leave aside the fact that he was playing with a loaded gun, the last material just straight say "The kid was angry, so he accidentally shot his father". The second one makes the boy a cold blooded killer with no actual other representation. Yeah, thanks news, we enjoy being portrayed as emotionless psychopaths. Thanks for that.A four-year-old boy shot and killed his father after he did not buy him a PlayStation, Arabic language media reported Monday.
?The boy pulled the trigger and a bullet hit his father in the head, killing him instantly,? the Sabq newspaper said in a report quoted by the Emirates247.com website.
Another paper, Sharq, said the boy is considered to be the ?youngest killer? in Saudi Arabia. He is four years and seven months old.
The child had asked his father to buy him a PlayStation. The father returned home empty-handed and then put down his pistol while taking off his shirt. The little boy grabbed the gun, played with it and put his little finger in the trigger, accidentally shooting his father in the head.
The man died instantly.

Very srs topic, varyingly srs post.
I agree with Daystar and find the 'think of the children' line that I quoted is kind of ironic (ironic: not funny) after reading the OP's post. The kid was 4 so it has a limited understanding of mortality to begin with. Also, he just wanted a Playstation; it's unclear from this post how much the kid has played games beforehand. I think there's more to be said here about elementary gun safety than game prevention among children.Daystar Clarion said:Gaming didn't cause anything.
Leaving a gun where a 4 year old could get his hands on it did.
