The point of this thread isn't as all it seems. Some may think that this might be about children and violence in video games. Its not. The question is, what damage have you done to accessories, i.e. controllers headsets ect ect, because of frustration from a game. Mine is 1 controller, 2 headsets and a MW2 disk from me 'accidentally' knocking my Xbox. What kind of damage have you done to your possessions out of frustration and from which game?

When I got a Gameboy Color my Pocket ended up getting smashed on the drive-way...and I regret not keeping it...I could have taken it apart or done something productive with the thing.

1 controller and 4 fingers (I slammed the couch and forgot there was still a plate with food there. Shards hurt a lot) Oh, that adds a plate to the list too.

As part of a 3-D project, I took apart a gamecube controller. It required a vice and a sledgehammer and even then took about 20 minutes to break apart. Nintendo makes their shit durable man.

I can honestly say I've never broken anything out of anger on a game. Although I have come close to breaking my hand a few times from punching hard surfaces.

I punched my laptop to see what was inside.

I'm not even joking..

It was broken at the time though and it was cheaper to buy a new one.

Four controllers from Soul Calibur 3. Also two Gamecube controllers, one for testing (those corrugated Nintendo ones are surprisingly durable) and one from anger.

From gaming? Nothing. Never even punched/slammed anything without causing damage. Cussing is as far as I go for venting.

Never smashed anything due to game rage. Though Shadow of the Colossus had me REALLY close to it when I fell off the head of the last Colossus.

I thought perhaps you were going to ask what the heck happened to Yahtzee's gaming show he advertised after that one Sonic game revew, Game Damage. I guess not. :p

Um... I try and keep my gaming equipment intact, though my sister did throw a Gamecube controller at my head once - it slipped out of her sweaty hands in a fit of rage. :p

Oh... This'll be fun...

So far ive claimed:
4 PS1 controllers, all to either wearing out the analog sticks or face buttons.
2 PS2 controllers, same reason as above.
1 PS3 controller, so far.
A whole PSP, before i got rid of it the analog stick didnt respond at all, all of the other buttons basically had thier springs flattened through fatiuge. Thats what 2500+ hours of MHF2/MHFU does to a PSP.
Three laptop mice, first two were plain shit though, third one lasted a year and a half before i finally did its springs in and the wire was stating to come apart.
Laptop charger, one of the more baffling cases, but the wire quite literally fell apart after 3 years of good service.

Also theese are all through normal useage. I dont make a habit of smashing gaming equipment.

I was in a really intense Frogger match with my friend. So I yell jump when I'm going to jump and lift my controller in the air like it will make my frog jump faster or higher or something. Unfortunately the chord wasn't long enough and it pulled my Playstation off the shelf and broke it. At least that was after I got a PS2 so I could still play my favorite games just a tad less enthusiastically.

No it was just considered weird back then to flail with a controller. It's normal now.

I chewed my psp in half when Monster Hunter... oh wait, no I didn't. There are a couple of games, including the aforementioned MH that have made me want to do damage though. I don't think I've done any yet.

EDIT: I see I'm not the only one to have been pissed off by those damned games, and and that was after only 7-800 hours.

At least 4 PS1s, an Xbox 360 controller (and the left bumper of one is a bit iffy), 2/3 PS1 controllers, the whammy bar of my guitar hero 2 guitar, a DS, the cover thing that keeps the batteries in my computer's mouse, the cases for several of my games...
Yeah, I get frustrated pretty easily.

I never broke gaming stuff out of frustration.

Tho, I did have a roommate who was playing the PS1 version of populous. He vowed he would finish it that day, but because of framerate issues on the final level, it was impossible.

Thusly, he openned his playstation, grabbed the disc in one hand, and crushed it with sheer rage, causing it to shatter in many pieces in what, to this day, was the awesomest display of gamerage I have ever seen. He then said... 'There. It is now finished.'

I applauded his creative use of the language to fulfill his vow. And the awesome onehanded disc crush.
