No, not at all. My brother has been curious about them, but only played odd game (Legend of Legaia on PS1) and my parents never played with random Christmas day exception of Mario Kart or Crazy Taxi.

I think gamer families will come about more and more over next 20-30 years.

My stepbrothers play games, but my older stepbrother usually sticks to Pokemon. As for my mom and step dad, ha! Don't make me laugh. I have tried to get them into games, but it never works. It takes too long to explain the controls to them, and they always give up after 5 minutes and go do something else. But, I will not give up, damn it.

Not really. My brother is kind of addicted (or he was ) to Runescape and some crappy online shooter called Soldier Front, but other than that, I'm pretty much the only gamer.

[sub][sub]Also, I was going to make this thread, you thread stealing bastard.[/sub][/sub]

Well my wife plays MMOs. I play consoles. And my daughter is always going after my controllers (she is 1) and will watch any game that is in first person (she really enjoyed FEAR 2).

Nobody in my house is intrested in gaming. They consider it a waste of time.
I would say 'same' here, but I'm the only one in my family to keep up with gaming. I have relatives that do game, but I'm the biggest one.

My aunt got into the sims for a while.
My cousin used to play zelda and rollercoaster tycoon, but now doesn't.
My cousin stephen plays on a PS3, but doesn't have many games.
My father likes Mario Kart and the original Alone in the Dark, but that's about it.
And several members of my family will play flash, browser, and casual games (my aunt/uncle own a Wii).

I for one, collect old systems, have about a dozen...
Old games, have about a hundred or so...
And still consistently play them.
Plus, I keep my graphics card up to date, and have both a Wii and DS.
And am going to TRY and get a PS3 soon.

My sister games, and my father used to play games in the DOS age. He is the reason I'm creeped out by pixelated things.

Hilariously enough, I've been forcing myself to play some of his old games, like Tomb Raider, and realise that he was absolutely terrible at them. No wonder I'm haunted by so many different deaths in Tomb Raider; he died at every turn!

Now I just wish he was addicted to WoW, or really anything more respectable than what he does now.

My mum played a lot of Pacman in her youth, And my Mum and Dad are keen players of Space Invaders for the PS1. Although recently. I got my dad into playing TF2, he used to play a lot of Guild Wars before that.

Well, my dad plays games. A lot. He has logged 700+ hours on BC2 online. So, yeah, I guess so.

My dad used to play Mario 3 with me when I was little. My mom played NES a little way back then too. They both stopped soon after.

My mom loves Nintendo and survival horror games like Donkey Kong, Super Smash Brothers, Zelda, Silent Hill, RE4 and even Doom.

My dad will occasionally play some of my PS2/PS3 games. He likes FPS's, action/adventure and sci fi games. Currently, he plays Demon's Souls, Killzone 2, inFamous and Dead Space.

So even though they won't admit it, they do like it.

Yes. Most of them play games to some degree. The thing is... they are all "casual" type gamers, playing stuff like Guitar Hero or other similar color matching games, whereas I am basically the only person who digs into the RPG's or strategy games.
