I don't get to buy games very often so I have to make the most out of each one I get. I've had a few goals with the ones I've got and I've recently manages to complete some:

In pokemon I've always wanted to train a Draginite but never been able to get Dragonaire to a high enough level to evolve. Recently I did a game of LeafGreen where my team would ultimately consisted of the 3 Legendary Birds and a Dragonite. Long before reaching the Elite 4, Dragonaire had evolved into Dragonite and I was happy. By the time I had the re-match against the Elite 4 after doing the Sevii Island bit, they were all level 67, the highest I've ever had.

I have the Metroid Prime Trilogy and for AGES it's been my goal to finish all 3 games on all 3 difficulties and, on Hypermode (the hardest difficulty), finish with a 100% completion. Just now I managed to achieve that goal.

What goals have you managed to do or what goals do you have?

Normally actually finishing my games is goal enough for me; I have a very short attention span when it comes to games. Which is a shame, as a lot of my favourite ever games are RPG's and JRPG's. I never, never try to 100% complete games- I know I'll never achieve it.
Though, I do set myself goals in pokemon, normally along the lines of 'get x pokemon to smogon standards before my next battle with my friends' kinda goals. I'm currently trying to get hold of a good gengar counter, as last time my friend kinda raped me with it.

My biggest gaming goal would be making grand campaign in Paradox games:
CK -> EU2 -> Victoria: Revolutions - > HoI II
I'm yet to play CK campaign where everything isn't going to shit at some point.

Other than that, I think I don't set myself any specific goals. Maybe creating specific team in Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre.

Just finishing a game is goal enough for me too. I'm all about having fun in games, not having specific goals. Sure, in pokemon I'll try to get certain pokemon, and in mmorpg's I want to get max level and decent enough gear to not be raped in casual pvp. But otherwise I don't usually have goals.

The only goal I will ever have in gaming, ever. Is the goal of fighting my backlog.

At last count my known (yes. I don't know some games on my backlog. I have so many.) backlog is 346 games.

It used to be 350! so I'm working on it! Every day it gets harder and harder though, more games come, the backlog gets bigger..

In Recettear I've finished the loan payment part of the game and now my goal is to beat the dungeons and get more adventurers to use.

Other than getting around to playing a pile of games I've yet to crack open, my general goal is to enjoy them as much as I can.

And, you know, PSN trophies and WoW achievements aren't going to earn themselves.

My backlog isn't that big, but it still got hit hard by the Summer Sale and now looks like a hopeless mountain climb of single player games. I hardly even play single player, I have no idea why I bought them, but you can't refuse those prices O_O

OT: I normally play Multiplayer games so my aim is normally to win, and if i'm just having fun maybe to do something stupid like going for Fish/Frying Pan kills on TF2 or winning as a team of supports on League.

I set goals for myself in games constantly; it helps me keep focused on the task at hand. My current goal is to grind out the T95 Tank Destroyer in World Of Tanks.

I was able to beat Omega Weapon in Final Fantasy X but I don't think anyone had their ultimate weapons.

I was able to complete one of my Pokedexes...probably for Soul Silver...I think. No, it would have been for Classic Silver since I couldn't get Darkrai.

Currently I'm trying to get all of my player-characters in Theatryhthm to level 99. I've got 12 there now and my current party is level 53-54. I'm trying to do this before Amazon sends me Kingdom Hearts but I may not be able to level everyone 100% in time.

I do ridiculous stuff like zero death runs on highest difficulty.
Then upload them to youtube.

Ok, my Mass Effect 2 videos weren't quite a zero death run, 'cos I decided to do stages I normally skip on such runs (and died 3 times), and also didn't use heavy weapons at all ('cos it doesn't help people with how to do a stage if it's just a case of "stock up nuke for boss").

My Dark Messiah videos weren't a zero death run either, I encountered one glitch where I got stuck in a wall and then got two-shot by an orc, and later got one-shot by a vampire 'cos I wasn't cautious enough.

But, they were "close enough" insofar as videos are concerned, and manage to get across the point that I can steamroll highest difficulty without any problems.

And no, it doesn't take me that long to do these - it helps to be able to memorise a stage after a couple of tries and have decent (transferable) general gaming skills.

I will actually make something good in Minecraft Xbox.

Maybe when I finish my Batcave..
The Batcave IS good though!! You could make a Minecraft-modeled Batcave based off of the designs of the 7 movies, Adam West's Show and, the Animated Series'. It would be huge and awesome if you could pull it off.

To be fair I'm kind of shit at it, so I just stumbled across a really big cave, and I'm just renovating it and adding bits and pieces around it.. though I did put a waterfall over the entrance, and a secret tunnel from a well :p

Catch up on backlog. I'm glad I have too many good games to play though, as opposed to too few (which was the case a few years ago).
