... Anyway. What is you favorite race/species in games? There are hundreds, so a little description or what game they're from would help.

My top 3 are:
- Nosferatu Vampires (Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines)
- Geth / Synthetics (Mass Effect)
- Argonian (Oblivion)

Okay in case you haven't met me before or just can't tell, easily my favourite race in any video game is the Sangheili from the Halo series, also known as the Elites. They are proud reptilian warriors with a noble heritage and badass fighting skills and weapons and technology. They are literally made out of awesomeness, the fire of greatness and awe and wonder. God bless the might of the proud Princes of Sangheilios.

Rompsku, I have to make a list that is comparable to yours but for possibly different reasons.

A) Tremere in Vampire: Bloodlines ('coz Thaumaturgy kicks arse).

B) Dunmer in Morrowind (Because they have wicked red eyes and hate everyone vocally, regardless of creed).

and

C) Half-Elves in the BG trilogy (because they make absolutely AWESOME Wild Mages).

Aye, but it breaks the game. Your techs, industrial base and solid infrastructure enable you to roll over any opposition with ease. Technically only the co-ordinated effort of all remaining Great Powers could stop you. But knowing the A.I...

Why haven't any games let you play as them though? Aside from RTS, they are never playable or shown in a positive light or anything.
