Umm...for those in the WORKING class, $3000 is a fuckload for a TV...I'd sooner buy a used car and get rid of our crap-wagon. We paid $600 for our 37" LCD six years ago and it's one of the largest purchases we've ever made.MaxPowers666 said:As somebody who games on a 106" screen I can tell you that their is no technical issues. All modern day tvs are equiped to handle consoles and especially if it has a game mode. That in itself most likely just changes contrast/brightness/etc. Kind of like how your stereo has a rock/metal/pop/etc mode on it.Magnifitacular said:I'm quite tempted to play Alan Wake and RDR on my new home theater big-ass LED but I'm worried about any technical issues that might occur from gaming on the behemoth. It has a Game Mode but is it still safe?
Thaaanks.
Why wouldnt they? A 60" tv isnt expensive at all. The one linked earlier in the thread is only $3000 which isnt all that much. But when you consider you can get a 56" for 1/3 that price its alittle expensive i guess but tvs are dirt cheap these days.Oskamunda said:What a ridiculous question...If Magnifitacular has actually purchased a 60" LED TV, he should know that the only potential problems come from hertz rates between newer consoles and older tvs.
I think the entire purpose of this thread is for Magnifitacular to brag about his new 60" LED TV. I doubt many 22-year-olds have access to that kind of cash, so thank your daddy in more than just your motto.
Make no mistake, I ain't hatin' on the well-off. If you want to brag about your 60" or you 106" or your 4" [you know what I mean, you filthy-kins], then go ahead. Say, "Hey I just got a 60" TV! Just wanted to brag." Don't cloak it in base technical questions and pseudo-babble about how you earned it from your JOB and such. Go get married and see how much you have to spend on that stuff. Just don't front is all I are sayinz.
