I could see using fingerless gloves or very snug (like anti-arthritis) gloves, but most of the time I find them a little too cumbersome to use constantly, especially since it interferes with my grip on the controller. I usually don't let the temperature get down low enough to really need them. If my digits get a little chilly I oftentimes don't even notice. It has to be really cold for me to recognize that my fingers are about to grow rigid and break off. :p
I have worn nice dress gloves while gaming before, which worked well enough, though I dropped the controller like a dozen times.
Yes I am that clumsy.
As far as PC gaming...never tried it, but I doubt I could do it with gloves that weren't fingerless.

I usually use my thinner marching band gloves since those are kinda meant to keep you warm while still having dexterity.

We have the advantage, my friend. Livin' up here allows for much fun while gaming, instead of our American counterparts who freeze.

Hobo/emo gloves with no finger tips work great. You get all the grip of no gloves with the warmth of gloves.

Screw the rules, I have money. My heating bill could probably be $10 lower, but it's worth the ten bucks to me to tick the heater up an extra couple degrees.
But not using the heat saves me like 100 bucks a month.. >.> Gloves only cot 5 bucks. ...once.

:D I'm efficient!
You have to calculate the extra food costs because of the energy you are expending by being cold though!

I can't game with gloves on, and I have Renaud's disease so my hands have to be warm. So heat it is.

I just turn the heater on and go under my bed covers.

If you can't afford to keep your place warm and comfortable, I would ask you why you even have a video game system or any games. I'd sell all that crap to keep the house livable...

who said I couldn't afford it? Maybe I like being cold. ...Or maybe I want something so i can tolerate being cold for a little :p

I'm made of tougher stuff than that. It's just a little cold.

Plus I've got a fan going and the windows open. >.> ...Yes, I like it cold.

So it getting colder, as it tends to do during fall and winter, and with that, comes dressing warmly.

Some people in order to save money don't use the heat. So that got me thinking:

Gloves, how do you game with them on? Or do you just let your hands freeze?

Personally, I let my hands freeze, because until recently I never owned gloves...
I usually just keep my system off. The cold damages any electronics if they're out too long.

I will only wear gloves when I'm playing with a keyboard and mouse. Even when I'm wearing gloves I only wear thin fingerless gloves.

if you cant afford enough heat to keep your hands warm, you shouldn't be buying games. Really, your priorities are messed up if you buy consoles/games before your own creature comforts so to speak.
