State where, preferably why. Feel free to elaborate(or post pictures!) if you think it's needed.

Bioshock infinite all the way. Rapture would get claustrophobic, but Columbia? A floating city with technologic advancement far before it's time? Nice suits? Robot horses? Sign me up!

I'm not a racist douchenozzle, so I could even help out some more unfortunate folk while I'm there. I'd have to keep a close ear on the ground and an escape pod or something when things heat up, but it'll be fun while it lasts.

Probably Mass Effect, Citadel, just because alien to human ratio would be low and I always wanted to meet an alien when I was a kid XD

Enjoy your perpetual airsickness. :D

I'd probably go with Amalur, Boletaria, Sylvarant or Gransys.

No real preference.

Not many considering they have such things to worry about as mad dragon gods and meteors destroying everything. Even worlds that are seemingly innocent have issues. Imagine if you lived in the universe of Ratchet and Clank, you'd have to worry about a stranger randomly turning you into a sheep or a chicken. Who wants to be a sheep? I know I don't.

Pokemon might be fun though.

The city in Mirrors Edge. We already have the Shard and a ton of surveillance so might as well get a gorgeous urban environment to go with it. I love me some ultra-mod architecture/art style.

Boletaria
>.> But the tagline for that world is "Prepare to die"... I mean, granted, death is about as much of an inconvenience as it is to the people of the Dragonball universe, but still. (Okay, I know, Dark Souls is 'Lordran', not Boletaria, but really there isn't much of a functional difference.)

OT: Considering how much of a coward I'm like to be in the face of real danger, I'd say...

Yeah. That. But only in one of the regions that doesn't get torn apart by some ridiculously short-sighted 'Team' of grunts led by an inexplicably cartoonishly bad person who try to mess with all of the regional 'god' Pokemon and end up throwing the entire weather and geography out of whack. So, like, Kanto.

I mean jeez, even Sonic the Hedgehog's universe gets flooded and melted and ripped apart because the ground itself shatters, and all of the non-talking animals get turned into robots, and there's these weird boxes that sit in trees and fall down whenever any sort of force is exerted upon them, and random bottomless pits and spikes out of nowhere, and loop-the-loops that are just plain impractical, and giant rings that float in the air and for some reason only the female talking animals actually wear clothes.

In Pokemon, the worst thing that happens is you get into pitched cockfights every five steps and only three or four people actually have any sort of personality.

Pokemon seems to obvious at this point so I'll go with something different.

Arland from the Atelier series.
The places is a beautiful land filled with alchemy, villages, monsters, adventures, interesting things and life!
Who doesn't want to live here.

I considered Lordran, but Boletaria's much more fun to explore. And if the monsters behaved the same way while I'm there, that they do in the game, the worst I have to fear is a pitfall. Also, I like the idea of being a phantom more than being hollow, should I fall in battle. :D

If I had some sort of ship and a bit of money I wouldn't mind living in the X universe, although it would have to be in that nice period between the end of the Kha'ak war and the start of the Argon-Terran war, when there was pretty much nothing bad happening. And a long way from the nearest Xenon sector.
Persona 4 would also be pretty cool. Actually Persona 4 is pretty much the only MegaTen world I'd feel happy living in, given that it's the only one which isn't destroyed as part of the plotline or under threat of being destroyed.

Arcadia from The Longest Journey/Dreamfall seems pretty sweet. Always had a thing for medieval fantasy worlds, and unlike most, this one's looming Big Bad(the Azadi) look like they'll stay out of your way if you stay out of theirs, which'll leave you free to enjoy the gorgeous magical world.(certainly better than being eaten by Trollocs)

There's a certain allure to living in a pre-industrial world. Food's natural, alcohol's natural, labor's meaningful, if back breaking and nobody's judging you if you bathe once a week.

When I was a kid, I wanted to live in either Alexandria or Lindblum from Final fantasy IX and my mind hasn't been changed since then. I remember that game blowing me away when I was a kid and I love the world of Final fantasy IX even now.

The SMT universe. Specifically, the Devil Survivor or Persona universe. Modern day technology with a supernatural twist. Assuming that I would function as a PC, of course.

I'd like the world of Ni no Kuni. When there's not an evil bastard bringing it to the edge of calamity, its world just seems like a happy, carefree place. Not to mention it's absolutely gorgeous.

Gimmie Twilight Town. It seems so peaceful as long as there's no Heartless roaming.
Of course I'd love to live in the Pokemon world too. Final Fantasy worlds are very pretty too.

Pokemon Pokemon Pokemon Pokemon,

did I mention Pokemon? POKEMON!

Near-Future society with beautiful natural scenery and animals with super powers that co-exist mutually with us. It's ferpect.

But I also know stuff like this would happen every now and then:

Depends on "who we are" in said gaming world, so to speak.

If we're in the same position as our character(s) then I would say EVE Online. Immortality, near-infinite wealth and near-infinite space to explore in your kick-ass ship sure isn't a bad haul.

That's the most obvious answer. It seems the Pokemon never ever ever attack humans, so, yeah, no problems there.

I'd take the trade-off of having to be a vegan to be there (it doesn't seem that any other animals exist and meat is never ever discussed as a food item.)
That looks like some good Clauncher and Combusken:

Yeah... Pokemon seems like the obvious experience. Not only its full of powerful pets that can fly you on their backs, but (based on Team Rocket), the worst that could happen after a lightning bolt to the head is to fly to the stratosphere and disappear into the horizon... but even that is harmless, since they seem fine a few minutes later.

I can't think of an alternative. Many universes seems like nice places to live, except for the elemental god/unnameable monsters/evil army that are sure to invade and kill 99% of the population.
