As far as traps go, all the ones I could think of have already been mentioned, but King (*drool*) has been mentioned, so I'm throwing my favourite reverse trap in: Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4. Sorry, no pic... (not good with computers; not sure how to add image to post).

Also, TheDiskThrower, not sure, but that looks like a woman crossplaying one of the Sephiroth clones from Advent Children.

In closing, OP: I love you for this thread. I dig (reverse) traps.

I dig (reverse) traps.

As an amusing side note, I was a little embarrassed at how much I kinda digged "him".. when I found out the truth, I'll admit I breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

Reverse traps I don't mind. Sometimes girls look better when they're kinda androgynous, maybe that's your thing.

There are lots more reverse traps than normal traps though, hah hah.

Stop making me question my sexuality! QQ
In fairness, he is referred to by his clearly male name, Lucius, within seconds of being introduced.

But yes, I'll confess that he has the same effect on me.

"You... must understand. I am... a man. As a child, I was often teased for my appearance, and I have never once profited from it." - Lucius

Well at least he is not trying to profit of of it, then we'd have a real problem.

[Insert any random character from Final Fantasy (the later games)]

And of course, the one, the only, Samus Aran.

I thought Yuri Lowell from Tales of Vesperia was some young girl. I was quite shocked when I played the demo and he spoke, especially considering his voice was like that of a 30-year-old man.

Dammit, JRPGs.

I sometimes really hate Japan at time for messing with me...

Seriously, it is sometimes very difficult to know which characters are female and which male and it can get awkward when you are beginning to actually like a character only to find out that the reactions that you expected and sympathized with when the character "was" a girl are suddenly very creepy when it is a "guy."

I sometimes think the Japanese are doing it on purpose lol.

What about Kadaj from Advent Children? Granted, it's a movie and not a game, but it is game-based.

Seriously though. When I saw Kadaj in a random clip, even AFTER I saw the movie, I wondered who the girl was.

She did it first!

The manual even went as far as calling her "he" or "Him."
Man, back on the N64, on the original Super Smash Bros, my friend kept referring to Samus as 'him'. No matter how often I corrected him. He also referred to Jigglypuff as her.

Much like King or Samus, Junon was likely this for those were looking forward to some virile paragon of masculinity under the helmet to swoon over.
