Is anyone have a reason that Lucario is Steel/fighting as opposed to the far more obvious choice of psychic fighting?

He turned back to the crowd.

"Now if I just keep up the Confusion as a barrier I'l be able to move freely." Gearhart looked back "Sir Lucario I can help training!" But he had already left. Oh. Dang
