The demon?s gauntleted right hand gripped Viktor?s left arm tightly, as he tried to pry it away from his face, while his free left hand rained bone crunching blows into Viktor?s side. Ignoring the pain as the demon?s fist broke his ribs, Viktor hooked a finger under the chainmail protecting his opponent?s head, the nature of the metal itself searing his flesh.

The crude dagger he?d acquired wasn?t up to the task of breaching the mail that protected the gaps in his opponents armour, and the boost he?d gotten from his snack was rapidly wearing down. The demon stopped punching him, and instead fastened him hand around Viktor?s neck, snarling something at him in a language Viktor didn?t recognize. He was about to go for a ?Hail Mary? when he heard a metallic ?clunk?, and the demon?s eyes went wide in shock.

Capitalizing on the surprise, Viktor knocked the demon?s left arm away with his knife hand, while simultaneously stripping the coif from his opponent?s head. Bringing his right arm back, he snapped it forward and buried the dagger up to the hilt in the demon?s temple. The body spasmed a few times as Viktor pushed it back, leaving the blade imbedded where it hit.

Anywhere his skin had touched metal, it was blistered and raw like a really bad sunburn; seeing that the fight was going in their favour, Viktor continued to ignore the pain and he exposed the newly dead?s throat and fed on the more powerful warrior. Using the feeding as a moment to gather his wits, he concentrated on his wounds, his natural healing abilities repairing most of the surface damage in a minute or so.

Casting aside the body, Viktor picked up the ?sword? the demonic knight had dropped when he gone for the grapple, and blinked in surprise as it changed shape into that of a fighting knife [http://savepic.org/3421564m.jpg]?one that he was very familiar with. Tucking it into his belt, he retrieved his gun and picked up an arrow that had been fired by one if the initial defenders, snapping the head off and dropping it into a pocket. All this only took a few moments, after which he returned to cover near Karis. ?You ever seen these guys before??

Juliet held perfectly still as Juri moved past, breathing an internal sigh of relief as she moved away from them. Two on two now, that made things easier, and given the dispute that was occurring it seemed like she might be able to make things three on one, at least briefly. The Vyrlian that Val Ruk was arguing with clearly did not much care for the treacherous spymaster, enough so that it was willing to openly threaten him. It also seemed to be sustaining the barrier they needed to bring down, which opened up the possibility for them to kill two birds with one stone.

She couldn't afford to speak, even whisper, for fear of giving herself or Sol away but all she needed was eye contact to pull this off, and the Vyrlian had three of them, what luck. She moved quickly past Sol, adjusting her appearance enough to give Ruk pause before he would recognize her, and stepped more into the open to gaze into the eyes of the Vyrlian.

He's going to betray you just like he did his former master, unless you do something first she thought, building the whisper in her mind before sending it forth, the suggestion flowing into the mind of the demon. It was already angry, hostile even, towards Ruk all it would take was a push. She gritted her teeth for a moment, she preferred to use her powers of suggestion for petty things not trust in them so heavily, but the reward was worth the risk. And it was certainly a risk, the demon would be aware of her presence, there was no way to use her suggestion and avoid that. You should kill him before he gets the chance, he's of no use to you anymore, and your masters will thank you for tying up loose ends, came a further suggestion. Such thoughts would appear to the Vyrlian to be as its own, urging it onward to the result she desired.

"I'd say you have quite an opportunity here," she said out loud to the demon "No one will mourn this traitor's death, in fact they'd congratulate you."

She inclined her head respectfully towards the Vyrlian, taking on servile mannerisms "I am happy to assist you in the matter," she said, then directed her last comment both to the demon and to Sol "I doubt you'll have a chance like this again."

The now fully form Dragon Tomas was trying to bite the demon out of the sky. In a feral like state it seems as he growls and let out a roar as the Demon flew around him. It was a like a human vs a wasp, just trying to swat him out of the sky. The demon slash at him, leaving gashes but with his tough scales, it didn't do that much damage.

Growling out as Tomas open up his wings and gave a flap, sending a gust of wind towards the Flying demon. Sending him flying backwards and making him take to the ground to get out of the wind. Dragon Tomas open up his moth and lighting started to form up. Opening fire at the demon, but the demon narrowly dodge the attack. Gasping for breath as it seem impossible for one Demon, even if he was well train, to take on a dragon. Even if Tomas was inexperience at that.

Dragon Tomas fire lighting again at the Demon, which he dodge once more. Though as he was coming out of the roll, Tomas' dragon hand came crushing down on him. The demon was knock out, but came too to find out Tomas was holding him up in the air. His hands starting to crush the demon. The demon letting out a yelps of pain as the armor seem to be cracking under the pressure. Before long, the armor caved in on itself and blood was pouring out of the holes in the armor. Tomas toss the Demon aside, letting out a roar in victory. Before looking for a new victim with his predatory eyes.

As Daniel leapt to engage the Demon, he brought his sword down upon them with an overhead strike; it should have been a near killing blow, but the Demon changed his bow into a sword at the last moment, blocking the strike. It didn't stop Daniel from pressing the attack however, as his Holy Blade began to cut through the Demon's sword like hot knife through butter.

The Demon was quick to react, kicking Daniel square in the chest which sent the exiled Angel crashing into a nearby wall, he used this break in the fight to take flight up to the next floor. As Daniel was starting to pick himself up, he could see the other archer take a shot at him, the arrow soon splitting into several smaller ones. Two of them pinned the bottom of his coat to the wall, whilst another two just barely missed his chest, landing either side of him. Daniel managed to relieve himself of his coat and roll out of the way as the final arrow was about to hit where his head should have been.

"Hey Green Arrow, you probably should get some more target practice." Daniel jokingly remarked as he picked up his sword from off the floor and engaged the demon, trying to push them back into the oncoming path of Mirabelle.

Mirabelle kept running, expecting to need to drop her cover at any moment...at least until she felt an unexpected thump. Looking up over the pillar, she saw that she had actually run into and hit the demon, curtesy of Daniel, knocking it over. Why it hadn't shot was beyond her but she wouldn't question it right now. After all, the demon was getting back up, apparently unaffected by the bump, so she had to come up with something fast.

Tossing the pillar down, she rooted in her bag and grabbed another vial out, gliding it by the stem like a tiny club as the demon for back to his feet. Having his full attention now, she started backing up a bit, trying to gauge his next move. He didn't think as hard about it, apparently trying to deal with her quickly while conserving his energy for Daniel, and going for simple killing blows, like a downward swing to cleave her, shoulder to hip. She "dodged" sideways like a drunken cat dodges a thrown bottle but still made it in one piece before she swing with the goal, tryiny to club him in the head. He blocked with his forearm, smashing the pommel into her before taking his sword and slicing downwards again. Unfortunately for him, his pommel blow had sent her out of his sword swings reach and thus she (technically) dodged it, falling over in the process.

Realizing that she didn't have the chops to fight him one on one, she came up with a different strategy, one that would hopefully end it within the next move. Getting back up, she narrowly avoided having her head chopped off by a horizontal swing before she readied herself, waiting for his next attack. Luckily, he went for another diagonal swing. Unluckily, it was faster than she expected and she barely had time to dodge and swing her own vial, hitting the sword with it and letting the vial burst. The liquid inside got carried forward by the momentum and hit the demon in the face and upper chest, coating his armor in the stuff and letting it seep in through the gaps of the armor.

The demon stopped for a moment, trying to comprehend what he had just been hit with, before starting to resume the attack once no effect had appeared. Unfortunately for him, the effects started taking place immediately afterwards as his face and chest became engulfed in a burning, stinging sensation. Dropping his sword, he tried to quickly remove his helm and chest plate to try and stop what was wrong but the pain of the flesh melting acid prevented him from doing that, or most anything for that matter. The acid killed him quickly after that, not disolving the corpse but melting a good portion of it while leaving the in-organic material intact, besides a few peices that were soaked in the substance.

Turning away from the display, Mirabelle turned towards DanieI'd demon, grabbing a small container of white powder, ready to use it just in case Daniel needed help with his demon.

Assault Team

The last Black Knight could only slam his fist on the railing in frustration as his comrades fell one by one, leaving him as the only one left, and what looked to be 'jazz hand'ed the group before swiftly retreating into the building.

After that, silence, sort of, the sound of battle could still be heard coming from inside the castle, though for the moment it seemed the line had been pushed away from them and Daughtry's team was now leading the charge in 'causing a distraction' and doing a fine job of it from the sound of it.

Karis looked a round. "Where's the boy?" he asked the Victor, as the location and status of the team was more important at present then the question Viktor had asked, though, William was found not to far from where Viktor had left him, seemingly asleep, but alive, and surprisingly, next to a dead Black Knight. Karis could only snicker a bit at that. "In answer to your question, Yes and No. This unit seems to have been made of Demons from remanence of the Elite Guard of several dead Demon Lords, like the Archers seem to been from the house of Kimaris, and the one I was fighting was from Ose's House, not sure about the others though, but be safe to assume they where Elite guard as well."

"I'm more concerned the shield is still up though." Karis said as he then tried to raise the Stealth Team for a status report.

Stealth Team

Val Ruk just glared at this demoness for a moment it dawned on him who it really was, but before he could act on this he could hear Vyrlian starting to stand up, and while he was very much 'large boulder' sized before, as he stood his full, massive size could finally be seen, topping off at an easy forty feet tall as electricity crackled between his long, sword like claws, and with out so much as a word from the massive armored demon swung those claws at Val Ruk, who despite not looking very able physically, avoided the attack easily, and made for the door, only to have it slam shut in his face, trapping him as well as Juliet and Sol in there with one very large, rather angry Demon.

"Where's the boy?"

Viktor?s heart felt like it skipped a beat; in his frenzy he?d forgotten he?d set aside William, and was very relieved to see the boy had come to no harm, as well as shocked to see the dead demon. Letting William rest, he turned his attention back to Karis.

"In answer to your question, Yes and No. This unit seems to have been made of Demons from remanence of the Elite Guard of several dead Demon Lords, like the Archers seem to been from the house of Kimaris, and the one I was fighting was from Ose's House, not sure about the others though, but be safe to assume they were Elite guard as well."

?? Viktor replied. ?From the way they fought together, this was no last minute alliance that?s still unsure of itself.? It was always so much easier to fight alliances that were expecting a knife in the back at any moment.

"I'm more concerned the shield is still up though."

Looking around, he grimaced as he saw the shimmering barrier still in the sky. Leaving Karis to make contact, he moved towards the other two. ?Mirabelle, Daniel?how are you to doing??

William

William was slowly coming too as he starts to get up. Opening his eyes, as the first thing he sees was the corpse of the demon he killed. Jumping back a bit as he let out a yelp in surprise. Calming down a bit as he patted his chest. Slowly starting to get up, though his body still ache from using to much of his energy of that last attack.

As he was getting up, and trying to head towards Viktor, he felt the earth rumble a bit as he saw Tomas going all Dragon on any demons still living. Gluping as he quickly head towards Viktor. "Um...what happen?" William asked, as he look at the two.

Tomas

Dragon Tomas was in a rage as he continue his rampage. Firing lighting at any small fry demons that somehow survive the encounter. Though his eyes catch a demon fleeing and he fire lighting at him. Not sure if he hit, or missed as he fires again and again. The area being scourged by his lighting. Before long, he was just letting out heavy breaths as he stare at the exit the demon took. Before calming down enough where he release who he was once again. Focusing on Transforming back into his human form as he start to shrink. Though he stop midway between forms.

Trying to go back into his human form, but couldn't as he look at his blue scaly hands. "Great..." Tomas mention as his clothes were torn from his transformation. Before he grab some spare clothes from a demon and wraped it around his waist. Walking to where the others were meeting as he said "What now?"

Sol wondered what he was supposed to do about the two demons. He would have preferred to wait for backup, or at the very least until one of them had stepped out of the room. However, before he got a chance to simply watch and have they go on their business, Juliet stepped out, trying some sort of mind-trick on the larger of the demons, the one that they needed to take down to get the shield down.

"I'd say you have quite an opportunity her. No one will mourn this traitor's death, in fact they'd congratulate you."

Traitor.

He crossed his arms from where he stood. Sol knew he had little pull in a situation like this, as charming as he was, he still had no idea what was going on. He carefully cancelled his amulet the instance he knew it was safe, it only had a few minutes again, and he waited to save them for when the actual fighting happened. He was basically holding his breath, though, this was getting a little too risky.

Where's the backup I asked for? I can't call them now.

"I am happy to assist you in the matter, I doubt you'll have a chance like this again."

Sol raised his eyebrow, not quite understanding the situation. Why was she offering the target help? Why was she trying to get a fight going?

I don't get it. If a fight happens, we will be in danger. Is the other guy really strong or something?

It did sound as if Juliet had recognized the demon, calling him a traitor.

Of course, her tone...

He rubbed his forehead, no reason to even try to think about this right now. The hunter activated the amulet again the instance the shield stone demon stood up, his heartbeats had not slowed down ever since he had entered the room. While the other demon seemed quick, it was headed for the door, with panicky motions.

So it's not stronger? What are you doing, Juliet? We could have landed hits before it got to this point.

Sol rolled his eyes as his walkie talkie started crackling and turned it off, he couldn't risk revealing his presence and location for a little chat. Whoever it was would have to either track them down, or wait. He wondered if there was any other entrances, but if there were, he needed to grab Juliet as well.

I suppose staying back and seeing what she's planning is best. Even if I think it'd be better without everything getting to this point.

"Mirabelle, Daniel...how are you two doing?" Viktor asked as he approached the Daniel and Mirabelle.

"Well, we're both still alive, so I guess feeling good at the moment." Daniel remarked as he went back over and pulled the arrows that pinned his coat to the wall, dropping them harmlessly to the ground. After slipping his coat back on he returned to Viktor and Mirabelle.

"Nearly got turned into Swiss Cheese 'cause of this guy here." He added, pointing towards the pile of half melted demon and it's armour. "Pity the other one got away though, would have like to finish the job I started with this." Daniel then partially unsheathed his sword before returning it. "Though I'm pretty sure I damaged his weapon, so offensively he's a bit stuck till they either get a replacement, or get his one fixed." He then looked at the mess of demon beneath them before speaking.

"Nice job there Mirabelle, certainly shaping up to be the pillar of this team."

"Mirabelle, Daniel...how are you to doing?"

Mirabelle looks down to her damaged arm and only said, "I'm mostly fine." She wasn't trying to sound inattentive or anything, She just had moved her attention to the arm and the idea of hopefully fixing it before they moved on. If she did though, she would have to move fast.

Grabbing the Damon's sword, she carefully opened the hole in her mesh a little wider before reaching in and tinkering with stuff, trying to create a temporary fix and stop any more problems from it.

"What now?"

"Do not know. Still lacking information on that." she said, connecting a couple of the thin rods in her arm together using a broken off rod piece. She worked a little bit more until she found the damage to be...sufficently minimalised before returning her attention to the group. She didn't like the state her arm was left in but it would have to do for now.

"Nice job there Mirabelle, certainly shaping up to be the?pillar?of this team."

...Mirabelle wasn't sure if that was a joke or not but she answered anyways. "Well, thank you. And thanks for pushing that demon back into my way...though I'm still not sure why he didn't fire on me when I was charging him. Seems reckless..."

Her mind wandered for a second before she settled her eyes on Tomas and asked, "...Are you okay? Most of your clothes seem to be...missing."

"Um...what happen?"

?Ah you?re awake.? He replied as William approached. ?You tell me, last time I saw you there were no immediate demons about and I set you down in cover because your shots where not penetrating.? Giving Willian a sharp toothed grin, he patted the boy on his shoulder. ?When I got back I found you fast asleep, and one of those black armoured bastards with his head pulped.?

"Nice job there Mirabelle, certainly shaping up to be the pillar of this team."

Viktor groaned and did his best to resist the urge to smack the angel for the pun he?d just made. Looking to the automaton, he realized she?d taken some damage to her arm and was in the process of doing a little field repair; curiosity overcame his manners, and he couldn?t help but peak over Mirabelle?s shoulder as she went to work. Letting out a silent whistle, he watched her piece the damaged parts of her arm back together; the intricacies of even the tiny bit he could see astounded him. ?? He muttered to himself.

"...Are you okay? Most of your clothes seem to be...missing."

Mira?s voice caught his attention, and made him realize Tomas had joined them. ?Nicely done.? He said with a nod of approval. ?Doubly so, coming ?back? to us.?

"Yeah..just glad I didn't kill any of our allies. And Mira, I turn into a full on dragon. My pants aren't like the hulks that stretches outward. Plus I got something on at least..." Trying to play it off that he was a bit nude there in his dragon-kin form before he found the turn clothes he got from the lower demons. Though he was still trying inwardly to change back into his full human form. Which was failing as he stare at his hands on and off.

"...still can't transform back.." he whisper to himself as he wonders why.

William

As William was being patted on the by Viktor, he felt his body shift forward a bit. Smiling a tiny bit and blushing as he was embarrassed by the praise. "I..um..saw someone coming up behind you and got his attention..Though he had the upper hand and I got..a stupid..foolish idea." William said as he hope that part wouldn't worry Viktor.

"I...sort of..turn into my gunform while he threw me up into the air..and..shot him point blank in the face.." William rub the back of his head. Not sure even how he made the shot himself.

Well. That hadn't gone quite as she'd hoped. Still there was hope yet, Ruk was trapped and would have to fight or die, which hopefully meant that he would manage to make their job of disposing of the Vyrlian to deactivate the shield easier before he passed on. Still though Ruk was clearly skilled at evasion which meant the whole affair could wind up taking longer than she'd hoped, and if the Vyrlian proved unable to distinguish between targets in its anger that could leave her and Sol in a difficult spot.

What is Sol doing anyways? She thought, somewhat annoyed that he hadn't swooped out of the shadows to strike at either demon at this point. Then again he was just a human, Ruk or the Vyrlian was much stronger than him physically and he might have decided the moment was not right. His dagger would no doubt struggle at getting through the Vyrlian's armor after all, and the Vyrlian was supposed to be their primary target what with it sustaining the shield. And I doubt we can simply convince it to lower the barrier for us after Ruk is dead.

Regardless she couldn't act against the Vyrlian yet for fear of turning it against her as opposed to keeping it focused on Ruk. Neither did she have any desire to directly engage Ruk herself, she was uncertain of his true power but he was without a doubt stronger than her.

She would have to make a show of support she decided, her claws growing long and sharp and her wings expanding behind her so she might hover slightly off the ground. She moved around to the side, blocking Ruk's path of escape from the oncoming Vyrlian while still hanging back from the conflict. If she could keep Ruk cornered he would have no choice but to fight the other demon. Conveniently her position would leave her ready to backstab the Vyrlian while it fought Ruk, should the right moment present itself.

Jikes. Now I really don't know what she has in mind.

Sol thought, as he saw that Juliet had elected to help the shield demon and not the opponent. She wasn't exactly attacking the smaller of the two, but it still was enough to confuse him further.

If she could have just told me what she planned. Or made any movement indicating it. We didn't need to do this without any sort of indication.

Regardless, Sol knew there was only one of them that needed to be gone, and he still sort of hoped that Juliet had planned the best way for that to happen.

I can't just stand here, at least.

Going through his spells, he found one of the few offensive one, electing the most powerful he had. It was worth far too much money for him to just waste it willy nilly, but it should be strong enough to at the very least blow a hole in the biggest demon. He had used it twice before, one time it had ripped a troll apart, and the other time it had fried a mermaid. An evil mermaid, of course.

Quietly and still hidden, he put the post-it-note carefully on the shield-stone demon and backed off without hesitation. It would create a magic blast, working from the inside of the demon rather than the outside. Therefore, the armor wouldn't be an issue.

Of course, I don't know enough about demons to know for sure. How many grand did it cost me? God, I swear, if I have wasted this I'll strangle Juliet.

Or like, look at her with an annoyed expression. Perhaps yell. Certainly grumble. Oh well, at least it wouldn't be able to know where he was, even if it failed.

Karis growled in annoyance "Stealth team isn't responding." He said to the group as he had the shape changing weapon he'd captured change to an exact replica of his now broken sword and then sheathed it "So we're going to go check in on them." he added as we walked over to claim another such weapon, this one from the one Mirabelle killed. "Also, make sure you grab the weapons from these guys if you haven't already, no sense leaving them here for some one else to claim." he said as he pulled out a tracker for the coms he'd been given in case of a situation like this, giving the others a moment more to grab those weapons or catch their breath before motioning them all to move out, all while trying to raise the Stealth Team as the team moved toward the signal.

Stealth Team

Val Ruk swore at the Succubus for interfering, as well as several other choice phrases the would have been eye opening for Sol, if Ruk wasn't cussing her out in a language native to the demon realm thus he couldn't make out what was said past, 'Juliet and this demon know each other and do not like each other at all', though that was short lived as Ruk had to resign him self to dodging the lightning magics Vyrlian was throwing at the Vulture demon, with varying degrees of success, while taking shots and lashes at Vyrlian with his own powers, as well as pot shot or two at Juliet when he thought she wasn't paying attention.

The Post-It note Sol had placed on Vyrlian exploded, blowing a fair sized chunk out of his back, severing his massive tail completely and damaging two of his back legs while also causing the massive demon to stumble forward a bit. Vyrlian let out a pained roar, then flooding the room with lightning, partly out of pure rage and partly to use the burns that it would cause him to cook closed his wound before him bleed out.

While Sol and Juliet did get out of the way by taking cover behind a pillar or some debris kicked up during the fight, Ruk, was not so lucky, and ended up taking a rather large hit from the massive amount of electricity that was in the chamber, leaving him singed, twitching and vulnerable for the moment.

Sol was happy he had managed to take some cover before the lightning had started, and perhaps even more happy he had readied another post-it-note, one that would protect him for a little while more. However, it could only take so much damage. He looked over to make sure that Juliet was fine.

Whoooops. Sorry Juliet, I didn't know it would react like that.

Then again, someone blowing the demon's ass off would probably cause that to happen.

So, what now? Do I just wait?

How long did his amulet have? How long had he spent hiding now? Too long, he was sure. At least he could tell when it gave in.

If it finds me when the amulet is out of charge... do I have a shield that could withstand its fully focused attack? I mean, it's huge.

Half a minute, at most. He couldn't keep hiding, Sol knew that much.

Can I depend on Juliet?

How would he even depend on her, though? Was she capable of taking out a 40 feet tall demon alone? Was she willing to do so, or would she rather try to do so? The demon she had disliked so much lay open, after all, and he didn't know how she would prioritize.

I can't sit still. That's even more dangerous, any moment now I'll blink back into existence.

But what would he do? Heart drumming in his chest and knife in his hand, Sol applied another, more powerful post-it-note barrier around him. It still wouldn't be able to take the focused damage, but it would protect against the lightning. Then he ran, knife in his mouth, towards the big demon, not towards where the most of his electricity was centered, but the front, hoping the pain would distract it from the feeling of something stepping on its feet. Sol felt the lighting hit at the barrier around him, his presence coming back into the world of senses.

However, it was too late to stop now. Desperately, he climbed as far as he could onto its back, grabbing what could be grabbed. He had climbed up poles and mountains with nothing but his hands and feet, but it was difficult, especially as he found the spot that seemed to be the most likely for him to be able to pry his knife into and hit flesh, between the head and the shoulders.

Well, it is a very sharp knife, but still. Here goes nothing.

Sol told himself, and started stabbing as he held onto the demon as best he could, hoping this would have at least a noticeable effect.

Viktor looked a William is disbelief for a moment, then started laughing. ?Firstly, thank you. Not sure I could?ve taken ?em both in a two on one. Secondly, as the saying goes ?If it?s stupid but it works, it isn?t stupid?.? The power from the demon blood he?d consumed, was burning itself out as his body healed; the nasty burns from where he?d touched the warrior?s armour were now just reddish patches of skin. ?You did good. Karis says these were some sort of elite guard, and you beat him, remember that.?

"Stealth team isn't responding."

?Fun time?s over then.? He replied. ?Guess we should go see how much trouble those two have gotten themselves into.? Nodding in approval as Karis claimed the weapon of the demonic knight he?d killed, Viktor walked over to the body of the one William had downed and snatched up its blade, tossing it to William with an under hand lob. ?Souvenir.?

Juliet dodged around Ruk's strikes, attempting to counter with quick claw-strikes in the hopes of her venom slowing Ruk down. Fool, he ought to be focused on Vyrlian, its far more dangerous right now than me. Fortunately Vyrlian's lightning forced him into falling back from his attack. Finally Sol made his move, a massive explosion shook the room and left Vyrlian staggered and injured.

Well done Sol, Juliet thought from behind the pillar she'd managed to duck behind, impressed by the amount of power he had displayed. Val Ruk had not been able to take cover so easily however, and had been struck with a blast of lightning from Vyrlian, leaving him injured and vulnerable. She hesitated only for a brief moment, to be sure the electricity was not still lingering in the air, and made her move.

Moving with all her speed she darted across the room and struck the staggered Ruk, her claws sinking first into the demon's throat tearing it out and then stabbing into the vulture demon's chest. On a demon such a seemingly lethal injury was by no means fatal, though between it and her venom Ruk would not be able to act anytime soon and she had no intention to let him recover. Her muscles strained and her claws burrowed deep into the demon's flesh as she cracked his ribs apart and tore out his heart. This was it, the core of any demon's power, and now his strength was hers to claim.

Her teeth, sharpened and catlike, tore into the warm bloody flesh devouring it in moments. Demon's could only ever steal strength from those more powerful than them, otherwise demons would be few in number but all incredibly powerful, and claiming that strength could be as painful as the transformation that strength brought. She felt Ruk's power burning within her as though she'd swallowed a hot coal and then it began to spread through her veins like wildfire. For a moment her blood felt as ichor, slow and black and poison in her veins as her own heart beat desperately to force it into motion. This strength is mine, she thought through the pain, commanding the power to obey her will. She felt as though she were choking, suffocating, and then her will won out, the dark blood flowed smoothly once more and the power coursed through her body no longer fighting her but rather joining with her own. This was not the end of the changes however, violet flames licked at her flesh and vulture feathers sprouted from her wings only to molt off before the convulsions ended. It had been mere fractions of a second though it had felt like an eternity, but now she had claimed the strength of another demon for herself.

She would have to test what new abilities the transformation might have given her later, though she could tell immediately that she was physically stronger than before, the transformation had given her the feeling revitalized and empowered and now that she could focus fully on Vyrlian. This will be an excellent test of my new strength, she thought, feeling somewhat giddy from the surge of strength now filling her.

Her wings beat down and she shot into the air, from there looking for a weakness in Vyrlian's armor. Some open wound she might strike at with her venom to slow or at least distract the demon.

Vyrlian didn't waste time with words once Ruk was dead, and the Succubus had claimed his power for her self, instead, he turned his lightning toward her, he knew why she was there, she and another that he'd felt off and on through out the whole exchange between him and Ruk.

Who now seemed to be stabbing him in the back with a something that burned but was more irritating then anything else, so while he turned his lightning, both in the form of 'basic' but powerful bolts and orbs that also fired bolts at her with the intent of overwhelming her ability do dodge and swipes with his massive clawed hands toward Juliet, he pulsed with electrical energy's, energy that covered his body in an effort to remove the 'iratent' from his back.

This gave Juliet little time to capitalize on the 'weak points' she saw in Vyrlian's armor, which was mostly in the joints or other areas that needed to bend.

All that was disrupted however by the sound of a loud metal on metal crash and the gate that closed to keep every one trapped in the chamber, flying through the chamber a short ways and banging into Vyrlian's shin.

Karis holding a battering ram like War Mace, then burst through the dust cloud kicked up from the stones that held said gate in place, took to the air, and brought it to bare against the side of the massive demons head, taking full advantage of the momentary surprise of him knocking the door off it's hinges, this also had the side effect of stopping Vyrlian from pulsing with energy.

"Go for the soft spots at the joints" Karis called out as the rest of the Assault Team caught up and entered the chamber.
