"Oh, hi Jarrah," Lenah replied. Jarrah noticed the slight edge to her voice, though he figured talking to Seth might have that effect on people, at least if Viktor was any indication. Not that it lasted long, as she seemed to become more and more energetic with each passing word. More energetic then he would expect someone who just got out of the infirmary after being laided up with broken ribs, though he chalked that up to whatever natural magic came with being a nymph and whatever afforded her her bountiful amount of energy.
"So, how have you been? I heard that you guys got to do a super-fun mission while I was out sick, how unfair," She continued, hopefully too preoccupied talking to notice the annoyed look that crossed his features when she mentioned the 'super-fun' mission. However, it lasted about as long as that topic of conversation, and when she mentioned Sol's visits Jarrah resisted the urge to bury his face in the palm of his hand for a second time in as many minutes. He hadn't visited her once! Obviously he had wondered, during her stay in the sickbay, how she was going, and he had meant to visit, he rationalized, but between everything he just hadn't found the time. That said, if she didn't mention him not visiting, he certainly wasn't going to bring it up. As it was, he smiled when she mentioned that Sol asked her to spy on Sierra, especially seeing as she was now out of the infirmary, unlike the half demon.
"Oh! Also, Sierra's fine, if you haven't heard. Seth says her demonic presence has been stolen, though, like, taken out of her, but she didn't believe me when I tried to tell her."
It was good to have an update on Sierra, though one thing confused him. "Stolen?" Jarrah repeated, mostly to himself, "That's...probably not good." Stating the obvious, yes, but saying it out loud helped concrete the fact in Jarrah's mind. He was tempted to ask Lenah how such a thing was possible, but he realized Seth would probably tell the group the answer that very question soon enough anyway. If not, well he could always ask him.
"Anyway, I've been, good, I guess. I don't know what Sol told you, but 'super-fun' isn't the way I would have described our mission to be honest." He said, circling back to Lenah's earlier question. Not wanting to dwell on the mission however, he quickly changed the subject. "So, how do you know Solomon then?"
While, in Tim's words, Jarrah could be a little 'dopey' at times, there were situations that he could be surprisingly intuitive. He had thought it was convenient that Solomon showed up to replace Lenah so soon after she was injured, and going on what Lenah said, they were obviously mates so, he guessed, that she had some part in bringing him here. So naturally he was curious to how a Hunter and Nymph would be on such good terms.
