Main Tent

Viktor stood quietly near the back, taking all the information in.

"Bad news, our scouts have confirmed Lucifer to be resurrect. Good news, the Aetheric readings for the area are well below the projected levels they would be if they infused him with the energy from the sword. So ether we miss calculated how powerful he'd become, or they haven't begun the infusion process yet."

?Or despite how superior they think they are, the underlings are having more trouble with it than the thought.? He said, looking at Seth. ?Even if they found or ?coerced? a vampire into helping, it?s not as simple as a vampire just grasping the blade?for anyone who isn?t Lord Tepes. There is a ritual that needs to be done, but that?s about all I know; I?m relatively sure the only ones who do know it are Lord Tepes and his Council, and I wouldn?t be surprised if it?s something similar for Lady Bathory?s ring.?

"How long will it take Lucifer to regain his full strength?"

"Roughly 7 Earth days, give or take an hour."

?Crap.? He muttered. ?One SS-25 could?ve solved that?if we had more time?? While the others broke into a quiet discussion amongst themselves, Viktor began placing a few phone calls. He had an idea that may help them, but even without any delays, time would be tight.

Tomas

Tomas was still working out with the others. Doing a workout routine as his mind were on other things. He really should have written a letter to his mother. Explaining what might happen here soon. While she might be worried, he would at least get things off his chest so everything that needs to be said, were said.

The next thing that enter his mind was working on his transformation. He needed to get his dragon side control so he will be of some more use during the next mission. Which is a pretty big one. He just need to find someone to help him train. Sighing out as he took a small break and grab a bottle of water and sip on it.

William

William thought he needed some rest after today. Looking over at Juliet as he said "I'm going to take a rest..today was..a bit much." He smile lightly as he gets up. "We should talk more later" He would then leave after she said her good byes. Heading to a resting area as he lay on the bed.

Too tired to even think about what will happen today or in the future as he close his eyes and starts to drift off to sleep. Though as he slept, nightmares would plague his thoughts. He would mumble and move all around in his sleep.

Sol couldn't quite believe that Elizabeth had gotten there, even as he embraced her. Yet, she made him feel better, his mood merrier, if a bit more worried. It was just too bad she couldn't do anything about the pain in his neck. The actual, literal pain in his neck, because he hadn't expected to fall asleep for as long as he had. Giving the others a quick wave, he lead his master to another part of the area, sitting down on a nearby rock.

"You're not going to tell me I'm in trouble, right?" he asked, jokingly, though part of him wondered if it was the actual reason she was there. Elizabeth looked at him.

"Should I?" she asked, taking her scarf off and twirling it around her hands. "I have no intention of forcing you to live your life in a certain way. But I don't want you to do this."

"Why not?" Sol asked, leaning backwards. "What difference does it make?"

"I want you to come home and learn our trademark. I want you to create a weapon, and learn the way of our family."

"What?" He rubbed his chin, unsure of how to reply. "Why now? And why didn't you tell me?" Elizabeth frowned.

"I've told you, Sol. I need to ensure you know. There shouldn't be only one person knowing the method at once, and grandfather is old, very old. And he's been asking where you are, you usually return home after a job."

"Yet he'll outlive us all," Sol replied, grabbing his hat, letting his fingers following the brim. "Just one year."

"A year is too much. Tell me why you want to stay here."

"You know why," Sol frowned. "I just want to learn something. Experience something I never got to. You understand that, right?" Elizabeth shook her head. "You don't?"

"I don't get why you insist on doing it here. Why not in a normal school, back in the US? I find it hard to believe that there's something keeping you here, even work. But something clearly is. What is it?" Sol shrugged, and she sent him a look he'd rather avoid see followed up.

"It's nothing," he said, ignoring the warmth in his face and the stupid smile appearing. For a moment, Elizabeth just looked at him, and then she got it.

"Did you fall in love, then? With someone here? Some sort of creature?" Her tone was neutral, and Sol couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking.

"Yeah, I suppose I did. A werewolf, but he has control over himself, and he's super cute. His name is Luke," Sol said.

"Oh. It's a guy."

Is she disappointed? Would she rather I went for a woman, so that I could have an heir?

She looked at him again, smiling carefully, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Introduce him to me, later. And then I'll try to figure out a way to work this out. For now... tell me about this whole thing. Why you're here, what you're going to do... everything."

"Of course," Sol replied, already removing parts of it in his mind. "I'll tell you all of it."

Well, all that's not going to make you lose faith in me, that is.

"If I remember, sure."

Mirabelle inwardly sighed at that comment. Still, it's not like she could do much of anything now. After all, They weren't arguing yet and she had issued the warning...what more was there to do?

"So, any idea where Karis is? Something came up, and he and I need to have a little chat."

Mirabelle thought to herself for a moment, trying to place where he had seen him last. Finally she said, "Last time I saw him, he was still in the main tent when I left, talking with Seth. And since he's supposed to be here on the behalf of one of the demon queens, I'd guess that he was still around there, just in case something comes up. Here, I'll help you look."

After saying that, they went to the Command tent and checked around. Of course, They didn't need to check long before the found him, since he didn't seem to have wandered off far. After that, she left them alone, figuring that they would want their privacy. Of course, what would she would do now? ...well, she'd just have to find something now wouldn't she, at least until she was called.

Hanging up from a rather unpleasant phone call, it seemed his bosses where a little unhappy with all the info he?d been sharing, he looked about and was surprised to see Sierra and an older looking woman he didn?t know, in the camp. He was tempted to go give Sierra hell about being out of hospital so soon?but he also realized how hypocritical he?d be; he?d been back out in the fighting only a day after nearly getting killed by that grenade, despite what the doctor had order him to do; instead he decided to introduce himself to Solomon and his companion.

As Viktor approached, he caught the tail end of their discussion, and coupling that with what he could see in Solomon?s body language, he came to a conclusions as to what, and who this woman was. ?Well hello miss, my name is Viktor, Viktor Zhuk.? He said as charmingly as possible, the effect somewhat spoiled by his cycloptic, prize fighter, looks. ?You must be his master. I?d say Solomon has been keeping out of trouble, but we both know that?s be an outright lie.? He added, grinning at the younger hunter.

"Well hello miss, my name is Viktor, Viktor Zhuk. You must be his master. I'd say Solomon has been keeping out of trouble, but we both know that's be an outright lie."

Sol raised an eyebrow, he hadn't expected Vik to try to flirt. At least it seemed like flirting to him. Part of him wanted to be angry with the vampire, if only a little, but he couldn't bring himself to keep holding onto that kinda thing. Not with someone like Vik. Instead, he chuckled. "What, me? I'm never in trouble," he replied. Elizabeth looked at Vik, then over at Sol, and then over at Vik again, unsure of what to say. Sol had already explained that Vik was a vampire, though he hoped him vouching for the other's character was enough to keep her from treating him cooly.

"Hello, I'm Elizabeth Thorn. And yes, I am his master, fully aware of what this scoundrel can do. Viktor... you're a vampire, right? I, that name..." She looked as if she suddenly realized something. Sol wasn't sure he wanted to know what, but he had little choice. "Could you be the one Sol failed to kill years ago?" She turned towards Sol. "Sol?"

Oh. So she remembers.

Sol gave her a brief nod, and she smiled a teasing smile. Back then she had been somewhere between giving him an earful for taking a mission like that so early, and sounding smug because he had failed, like she had told him he would. Happy that he was fine, but also that he would have to learn to be more careful.

"All is bygones, I hope? I heard you're here on behalf of your clan, so it'd be best not to distract yourself with matters of the past, anyhow." she asked, still sounding like the whole situation amused her. Elizabeth was looking at Vik now, with keen interest. Sol knew what his own reply would be -he hated holding grudges- but he was curious about hearing it outright from the other. He was already a little surprised that Elizabeth had decided to give Vik a chance that suddenly, she normally kept away from vampires, even trying to avoid taking jobs with them. Understandable too, considering the scar running down her stomach, when a vampire had ripped out any chance she had of having a legitimate heir.

But she knows I trust him. Well, as I would any human in the same situation, anyhow, which says a lot.

"What, me? I'm never in trouble,"

Viktor ?coughed? into his hand. ?Bullshit??

"All is bygones, I hope? I heard you're here on behalf of your clan, so it'd be best not to distract yourself with matters of the past, anyhow."

?Of course.? He replied with a sharp smile to Solomon. ?That was all merely a professional ?disagreement??besides he did manage to return in kind for the mark I left on his neck.? He remembered being both amused and annoyed with himself for letting such a young hunter surprise him like that. ?So are your just here to keep an eye on you wayward charge, or is this a more professional visit?? He kept his tone light, but hooked a thumb into his belt for easy access to his weapon; a woman didn?t make it to even her age as a hunter without being very dangerous, and if things went bad he had no intention of letting her show just how good she was.

Sierra and Mirabelle checked the Command tent, which 'Mr Whiskers' was there, talking to Seth and Daughtry, sounded important, but she didn't care at the moment, she'd probably hear about it soon enough any way, her 'father' was her immediate concern.

They found him, sitting alone by some rocks at the edge of the camp. He just looked at the pair for a moment, really only to see who was approaching him. Sierra thanked Mirabelle as she left the pair alone.

"You should be in the hospital still." Karis said after Sierra sat her self down on the other side of the rocks. "Technically, I should be dead, but I'm not, so here I am, besides, it super boring being in that room all day with nothing to do." Sierra started. "Besides, I came out here for a reason. To impart a warning of sorts, I guess."

That got Karis' attention. "A warning? about what?". "Remember that stone you gave me? That 'test' it was supposed to be? Well, I got a visit from one of Riviera's science officers. A rather timid demoness named Kiki, and she told me the stone was to check to see if I was one of the 'Keys' Riviera is looking for. Apparently I am, a deal was struck and now I'm basically working for her now, on top of every thing else. I plan on telling every one later, and that's when I'll explain what me being a 'Key' means, but that's not why I'm here. That could have waited." Sierra stopping to take a breath and rub her wound a little.

"I made the trip out her because of something Kiki added to my short list of requests before I said say yes. As you can well imagine, getting that clown Ansoth off mine and my family's and every one else I care abouts back was top of the list. When I asked about you, since, in a weird way you are my father, Kiki said to 'not worry about it, he would be reigned in'."

Karis sighed. "So they're going to try and force me into swearing loyalty? Idiots. If I was going to pick a side I'd have done so century's ago."

"That would be my guess, with the likely threat of them killing you again if you don't comply." Sierra added. "Seems they don't want some one as strong as you running free anymore. I find it rather distasteful, but since I'm only using them as much as they're using me here, I can hardly object to much."

Karis snickered at that. "A human using the Greater Demon Lords to further her own ends, heh, you sure they got all the 'demon' out of you?" Karis snarked back, Sierra just shrugged and smirked. "Still, that leaves the question of what I should do after this mission. Professional and Personal Pride won't let me abandon it."

"Gungnir could always use someone with your experience." Sierra could her the surprise her suggestion cause in the sound Karis' armor made. "Two reasons I bring it up, 1) They really could use the more staff that knows what they're doing. Specifically in the area of training recruits, and Seth him self said he's only gonna be the team lead till they find a suitable team lead. 2) It'd be a HUGE slap in the face to the Queens" Sierra smirked that devious smirk she'd used when she'd out played some one. "Imagine the looks when 'Legendary Mercenary' says 'I'm a go help the humans instead'. Besides, what do you really have waiting for you back in the Demon Realm?"

Karis couldn't help but laugh at that. "That clinches it, they missed more then a little 'demon'." he stopped to consider Sierra's idea. The Ravens as a mercenary unit where effectively dead, with the majority of the Veteran Officers working for the Queens or snatched up be Seth. Probably the staff he had 'cleaning house' now that he was thinking about it."I will consider it."

It wasn't long before Alexander appeared once again to give them a status update, and it was far worse than they had originally thought; Lucifer had been successfully resurrected, the only good news was that he wasn't at his full power. It was at this moment that another Demon, this time a scientist in the employ of Queen Riviera by the name of Ebon appeared and said it would take roughly a week for Lucifer to return to strength.

"Great, it isn't bad enough that Ole' Lucifer has returned; now we got to work to a time-limit?! Talk about going from zero to what the hell in a matter of moments." Daniel said to no one in particular as he vented some frustration. Ebon continued to talk, but was being rather evasive in answering certain questions, hiding behind the reason of; "If you're not on the list, I don't have to explain shit."

Daniel knew that being a jerk was second nature to demons, but this seemed particularly dickish in spirit, for all they know, the information could have proven to be useful.

"As I said, I can not discuss our findings with any outsiders, However." Ebon started to say before giving a brief look towards Alexander "I will say, you are on the right track with that line of thinking. Now, if you'll excuse me." And with that, the demon left as quickly as they arrived. Daniel soon got up from his chair.

"Fucking twat." He said under his breath with a hint of disgust before he left the command tent. Surveying the scene before him, Daniel saw that there were two sets of conversations going on that he could participate on. First on his left, there was Sierra and Karis, and to his right, Viktor, Solomon and... Elizabeth Thorn?

Well well well, it's been a long time hasn't it Beth? Daniel asked himself. He thought to himself that perhaps he should go say hello to her, but she seemed to be in deep conversation between Sol and Viktor, so catch up could wait for now. Daniel sauntered over to Sierra and Karis who appeared to be just finishing a conversation.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything between you two? Must say Sierra, it's good to see you up and about again."

"Of course. That was all merely a professional 'disagreement'...besides he did manage to return in kind for the mark I left on his neck."

"Oh believe me, he did mention that, a... couple of times," Elizabeth chuckled, clearly implying it had been far more than a couple of times. Sol felt a little embarassed, being made fun of by someone he respected, in front of someone he also respected, wasn't exactly what he would consider a fun time.

"So are your just here to keep an eye on you wayward charge, or is this a more professional visit?"

Sol realized what Vik was preparing for, and if he did, then Elizabeth even quicker. She opened her coat in a single motion, revealing a longsword in an ornate sheath. Her hands were nowhere near the blade, however, showing that she had no intent at starting a fight. The hilt was silver-coloured, though before one could study the nature of the markings and details on it, she closed her coat again. Every part of it, Sol took note of that her expression was calm, and there was no hostility whatsoever in her actions.

"I'm here for my student," she then said. "But I am far from helpless, and I will protect both me and Sol, should there be a need." Sol wrapped his arms around her from behind, jokingly putting his head on top of Elizabeth's.

"He's not threatening you," he said, and she huffed. "Be nice, no one's going to hurt me."

"I know. And could you please don't do that? You already got your hug."

"What, you embarrassed?" he teased, chuckling, and she sighed. Sol recognized that kind of sigh, it was the kind that was basically her preparing to raise her voice. Instinctively, he let go, getting some distance. Just in case. This time she chuckled.

I see you've learned," she smiled, then looked at Viktor, a little more apologetic. "He doesn't do this thing to you, right? If so, just know I didn't teach him to invade people's private spaces. I may have taught him how to fight and how to survive, but that kinda thing is all him. I simply picked him up and made him my student."

Sol briefly stuck his tongue out at her, though he had to admit it was nice being able to depend on someone again, even if it made him sound like a newbie.

Viktor smiled a bit as Elizabeth opened her coat; ?mere? human or not, he got the distinct impression that he?d be in for a hell of a fight if things ever came to a head with her, which meshed well with his initial impression.

"He doesn't do this thing to you, right? If so, just know I didn't teach him to invade people's private spaces. I may have taught him how to fight and how to survive, but that kinda thing is all him. I simply picked him up and made him my student."

?No,? He replied with a chuckle. ?I?m not his type?not enough fur.? He added, reaching out and ruffling Solomon?s hair like one would a child?s. Sometimes you don?t need to share blood to be family. He thought, watching to two hunters. ?Well it?s nice to meet you and I have to say, you?ve done a pretty good job with Solomon?skill-wise at least.? A thought tickled the edge of his consciousness and it took him a moment to pin it down.?[small]Ah! That was it![/small] Word to the wise Liz. If you see a guy with green hair and all the sincerity of a used car salesman, don?t make any deals with him?and check your wallet if he stands too close.?

"No, I'm not his type...not enough fur."

Sol looked at Viktor as the other ruffled his hair, a bit confused. Had Vik really done that? Ruffled his hair? Even so, he tilted his head, eyebrow raised.

"I do hope that you're inviting hugs and kisses from now on," he said with a grin, challenging Viktor to have a reaction. However, the other seemed to care more about Elizabeth, which made Sol wonder what in the world could want Vik to get on her good side. Was it simply her strength? Or more about her looks?

Do I even want to think about that, though?

"Well it's nice to meet you and I have to say, you've done a pretty good job with Solomon...skill-wise at least."

"Thanks, but there's still much he needs to learn," she said, eyeing him. Sol knew she was referring to the techniques he had yet to learn, especially the secret family one, though he was very much willing to agree on that he was far from done.

"Every experience brings new knowledge," he said, sagely. "And every challenge I escaped unharmed teaches me something... even if it's just to not try to reason with lunatics or that you can get a lot out of promising to buy an under-age girl booze as exchange for information."

"... I hope that was just buying the booze." He shrugged, though it should be obvious that he would never do anything else.

"Of course." Sure, he had bought it for Lenah, but he would never have tried anything else. Even if he had been attracted to her beyond what was simply common sense -she was beautiful, after all- or had been in a bad place. His master seemed to trust him, however, and nodded.

"Ah! That was it! Word to the wise Liz. If you see a guy with green hair and all the sincerity of a used car salesman, don't make any deals with him...and check your wallet if he stands too close."

Sol chuckled at the description, it was pretty obvious that the vampire disliked Seth, though Sol didn't mind the snake-demon. Elizabeth, however, raised an eyebrow; "That sounds like something Lenah would say. It's about Seth, right? He really is a shady one. It was, however, very nice to meet you, Viktor." She gave the vampire an earnest smile. Sol looked at her when Vik had gone.

"Well, I'm not... Seth didn't trick me, if that's what you were thinking." Elizabeth huffed.

"I'll see that for myself. Although, not now, there was a girl earlier that requested I didn't cause any fighting, and I intend to honor that request. Besides. She looked at Sol. "If you're not busy, we should spar. I need to see what you've learned in your absence."

Sol groaned. He really did not like that idea.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything between you two? Must say Sierra, it's good to see you up and about again." Daniel said as he approached the pair.

"As well as can be expected, for nearly getting cut in two, having that oh, so, handy regeneration demons have taken from me and deciding 'I don't wanna be in the hospital right now'." Sierra said, clearly a little miserable.

"Even if she really should still be there." Karis added, and Sierra shrugged, then winced cause that didn't seem to have agreed with her,

"So, what fun have I missed while being stuck in a boring ass white room with a crappy TV and nothing on it worth watching?" she asked as she rubbed her shoulder a bit, while Karis just sat there. Clearly thinking about something.

"That sounds like something Lenah would say. It's about Seth, right? He really is a shady one. It was, however, very nice to meet you, Viktor."

?Ah, so you?ve met him then.? Viktor replied with a bit of a chuckle. ?It was lovely to meet you as well Elizabeth; it?s always nice finding hunters who are willing to look past old prejudices.? Giving Solomon a pat on the shoulder, he made a more formal bow to Elizabeth. Giving one last admiring look at Elizabeth as she turned her attention towards Solomon, he wandered off into the camp.

Having brought the Elders up to speed earlier, and with no assigned tasks at the moment, he made his way over to the training area that Daughtry and his people had set up. Hanging up his coat and holstered gun, he began to do a bit of ?shadow boxing? until he noticed Tomas standing nearby. Walking over, he stuck out his hand. ?Tomas, right? Care for some one-on-one sparring??

Tomas was punching the punching bag, while another one of the students held it. Focusing at the task at hand as he was a bit surprise someone said his name. Stopping and nodding at the guy to take a break as he look over at Viktor. Seeing him held out his hand to shake. Taking it and giving him a firm grip. "Indeed it is. I believe your name is Viktor."

Seeing Viktor did a quick nod as he offer up the one on one sparring. "Sure, I feel like hitting an actually person who can dodge and hit back will help train me better." he said in the monotone voice he normally has. "Got a place to spar?" Tomas asked, following Viktor after to the sparring spot.

"Indeed it is. I believe your name is Viktor."

?Correct.? He replied, returning the handshake and sizing up his new ?opponent?. The kid was about his own height, though not nearly as broad shouldered, and was very fit. Soft hands though; probably never done a hard day?s work in his life. He thought idly. He also carried himself with a supreme self-confidence that was the hallmark of his kind.

"Sure, I feel like hitting an actually person who can dodge and hit back will help train me better. Got a place to spar?"

?Over here.? Viktor said, walking to an open space. ?Don?t hold back, I want to see what you can do.?

"Very well, though do tell if I do go to hard." Tomas said, while he wasn't acting like an asshole. He was worried of going to hard with his dragon form. He never had a real opponent to take him fully on just yet. Turning into his dragon form half-way. His dark blue scales covering parts of his arms, his chest, and his face. If his skin was shown around his body more, Scales would probably be covering it. His eyes slits became more dragon like as he charge. In the back, a long thick tail could be seen as crack his neck and charge at Viktor.

Throwing a few punches to gauge Viktor speed and ability to dodge his attack. Making small adjustments as he throw out his attacks. Before doing a quick spin attack, that hit Viktor right in the chest with his tail. Sending him back a bit as he kept up the attack, keeping Viktor on the defense.

"So, what fun have I missed while being stuck in a boring ass white room with a crappy TV and nothing on it worth watching?" Asked Sierra whilst Karis appeared to be deep in thought.

"Well, things have certainly been... eventful to say the least."

"After our arrival at the Gate, there was a confrontation between us and a squad of demons that were standing guard over it. Suffice to say the others managed to make surprisingly quick work of them, even bagging a prisoner to interrogate. Whilst Solomon and a hired hand by the name of Joachim questioned the prisoner, I investigated a cache of Soul Crystals that were there; discovering that they were all fully charged.

It was around this point that Karis and Viktor had something of a very heated argument regarding the betrayals both had suffered under the others respective races. Almost came to blows before William, Juliet, and to a lesser extent Solomon managed to simmer things down.

Unfortunately, that is when the first piece of bad news came to us. According to the captive, resurrecting Lucifer wasn't the demons only objective; their plan is to reclaim the Demon Realm and undo all the so-say damage that the likes of Riviera and Rozalin have done. It would also mean they'd want to reassert their dominance over Earth as well. They then drop another bomb-shell in the form of that the Crystals were made with willing blessing of an Angel, stating that the Angels were none too pleased about the state of affairs either." He said in sombre tone, knowing full well that there wasn't a gentle way of putting it.

Shortly after this revelation, Joachim, who I should mention by this point was a Mindflayer, turned on us, saying that an opportunity to return to the good old days was too tempting not to pass up. He was quickly dealt with, don't know what was done with his remains though. We then packed up the remaining Soul Crystals and moved on to the base here." In saying that he gestured to the base behind him.

"In fact, I've just come out of a meeting with Seth and Daughtry; wherein I disclosed some information regarding the identity of the traitor Angel after I had further analysed the Soul Crystal. I believe it to be the work of Zaqiel, the Angel of Purity. We also had a discussion regarding what their motives might be, and we're thinking it is something to do with the concept of The Balance and it's disruption thereof." Daniel paused for a moment, trying to decide the best way to put it.

"Just before I left the Command Tent, Alexander, you know, that Panther Demon who was at the College briefing earlier, brought us some further bad news. Lucifer, somehow, has been resurrected. Good news is that he is not at full power yet; bad news, we've only got about a week to stop him before he is back to power." He said with a sombre tone, knowing full well that there was no good way of putting it.

"Some scientist working under Lady Riviera as part of an expedition into the Southern Ruins entered shortly after. Went by the name Ebon, said he was looking for you. Tried finding you at Gato, had no luck. I guess your stay in hospital wasn't completely boring then."

"Very well, though do tell if I do go to hard."

?Will do, but that is?unlikely.? He said with a grin. Viktor watched with interest as Tomas ?changed? into his more draconic form. This should be good. He thought. Never sparred with a dragon before. Sure he?d help kill a full-blooded dragon?but that had been more of a military operation.

Falling into a defensive stance, he blocked or parried Tomas? attacks as they came, feeling out his opponent and getting a feel for the youngster?s strengths and weaknesses?on the other hand the tail whip caught him off guard. ?Ooffing? from the impact to his chest, he staggered back blocking as best he could while Tomas redoubled his efforts. This went on for another moment or two, before Viktor threw a quick jab at Tomas?s head to break the dragon-half?s attacks and let him get his feet under himself.

Counter-attacking, Viktor put Tomas on defense right up until the moment the half-breed lashed out with another tail whip?unfortunately this this time Viktor was ready for it. Stepping inside the arc, he robbed the attack of much of its power while simultaneously trapping it against his body with an arm; at the same time he got a leg between and behind Tomas? legs while levering ?up? on his tail. Finding himself off balance, Tomas tried to throw a hook, only to find Viktor was ready for it.

Catching Tomas? fist, Viktor drove him to the ground, pinning him for a moment before helping the young fighter back to his feet. ?Not bad.? He said with a smile. ?Good speed, good power, but you telegraph your attacks a bit?more so with the tail. You?re trying to use it like a sledgehammer, but to get the power you need for that, you leave yourself open. If you can try just using the muscles in it like a whip; aim for weak points like joints or soft spots, or just use it to distract your opponent?not many are going to be looking for a fifth point of contact.? Walking back to the middle of the sparring ground he waited for the next round.

"God ... I can't live you guys alone for a minute can I, turn my back for an afternoon and everything goes to hell." Sierra snarked. "I do hope some one slapped Seth from bringing in a fucking Mind Flayer in though, that's like trusting a Vampire to watch a blood bank."

Karis then stood up. "If the feline is here, I guess I should head back to the Command Tent" he said as he started away from the two, stopping next to Daniel for a moment. "Do me a favor, make sure she gets to the medical staff." the gave a little wave and headed back to the Command Tent.

Sierra waved back as he left. "Not surprised, I am going to be doing some work for The Queens, He's probably looking for me for some form of 'orientation', since I was told to expect to head out with them after this matter with Lucifer is settled, so that'll be interesting when I get that call." She said as she thought about what Daniel said. "Still if the Angels have joined up with the demons, that's really concerning. Are we gonna have to start fighting off them now as well cause we're helping the 'new order' in the demon realm?"
