"Sol, that one that's flickering," Juliet whispered "I'm getting a bad feeling about it, we should take it out first if we can."

She could sense Juri was near and suspected she was involved with the flickering stone, but she wasn't about to reveal the extent of her knowledge to Sol, it'd raise too many questions that she didn't want to deal with now. Besides she didn't know the full extent of Juri's powers so there wasn't much helpful information she could reveal. If Juri is nearby though that means Val Ruk can't be far, is he working for the other side? That wouldn't be unlike him, try to play both sides. We'll have to be careful.

Part of her felt slightly worried about this development, but it was far outweighed by a sense of excitement. She'd never liked Val Ruk or Juri and getting to watch them die was a thought that appealed to her, besides while Val Ruk was strong she doubted he was a match on his own for their team, and anyone could be caught off guard.

"Shall we let them know we're here and get the party started proper?"

"Can't see the harm in that. It would be a shame to come all this way, and not have a bit of fun. Still, we mustn't be careless as we proceed, a single errant step may cost us."

Mirabelle started to say something about that when she noticed Viktor start to get...killhappy, assuming that was a word. She was about to suggest a bomb or something like that, something small but with a noticable amount of noise to have the guard's come running...but it seems just Viktor would do for now, screaming some phrase above the chaos. She had no real context for it but she assumed that it was relevant to the situation. After all, he didn't really seem to have anyone following him and she highly doubted be was going to allow himself to be killed and potentially get Will stuck in a bad situation. Still, at least he was drawing attention to them all...perhaps she could help with that as well.

Confident that Viktor's actions were proving to be enough of a distraction, she ducked behind a small wall and began taking off her back pacI, pulling one of her special mixtures out, putting the backpack back on afterwards. It was a simple mixture, originally not meant to be used in combat at all but she figured it was a decent way to dispose of it. The mixture was infact a weaponized result failed experiment that she had made a couple of days after Sierra had been hurt, the one that nearly blew up the dorms until she stabilized it. Of course, while the explosion itself should have been reduced some, she figured that the explosion should still be loud enough to attract the guards attention inside and help Sol and Juliet more.

Opening the shoulder bag, she took out a small vial and added some of the solution into the bomb before shaking it and throwing it in between a few crossbow wielding demons, away from any allies. It bounced off of one of them before landing, waiting for a second, then exploding, making a smaller explosion than what was expected but still very servicable. The shrapnel from the container pierced into the demons flesh and the heat burned and scorched them, wounding and killing the small group, while the explosion itself let off a sound that was far more louder than it seemed the small explosion could make.

Once that ended, Mirabelle hoped out of cover and began fighting again, hoping that she hadn't made it too loud...well, at least the enemy would know they were here.

"Sol, that one that's flickering. I'm getting a bad feeling about it, we should take it out first if we can."

He hadn't really remembered that they had communicators before Juliet spoke, and it certainly put him on edge. With a clear, but quiet voice, he replied, whispering.

"That seems like a bad idea. It could just be a false positive, or a trap. I'm going to take out one of the ones we know are here. I suggest you take the other stone, and if nothing happens we can move together to take that last one. No use wasting time or effort, no?"

With that, he kept moving forward. Juliet could feel free to do what she wanted, Sol had spoken his mind and she should be capable enough to handle herself even if she walked head-first into a trap. Besides, he had already gotten close to the current shield stone, would be a shame to turn around.

That should be it. I am wondering if there was truly no one else that could've done this though. I suppose they depend on my amulet more than me or my expertise in this situation. How rude, why would they not trust the completely normal human with a bit of training and experience and some magical items?

Sol thought sarcastically as he moved. He was a bit iffy on how to destroy it still, he had only gotten it briefly explained to him before the mission, but he doubted he would have issue doing it. The real problem would be if it was guarded beyond what they had expected. That was why he used his amulet, disappearing, before getting to the shield stone -or what looked like it was it at least- and destroyed it the way he had been told to do, invisible and impossible to sense. Perhaps it would make some sound when it got destroyed, but they would have a hard time figuring out where he was either way.

"Alright, see you in a bit," she replied. Well there went the plan to have Sol check for traps around the thing, shame he really was ideal for the role given his amulet, but now if there was a threat at that one then it would likely know they were coming after they dealt with the other two.

Then again it could be a decoy, in which case this is the right option. Ugh, I hate working from a position of little knowledge. Still she'd have to make do, carefully she began moving closer towards her target. She felt her claws extend, flowing with venom, as she approached the target. She would be quick and strike before they could react, smashing the stone would be easy enough with her demonic strength.

Tomas

Tomas was peeking over the edge as a arrow came zooming pass him. Ducking back as he was about to say something to Viktor, when he went charging into the fight. Shaking his head as he didn't bother to listen to Viktor yelling. As he didn't have a gun, and didn't want to use one. Peeking over the edge once more, as the guards seem to be focusing on Viktor.

Smiling as he charge forward ripping off his shirt with his claws. Opening up his wings as he flew towards one of the archers nest. Diving right into one of the demons as he rams him up against the wall. While he was still reeling from said tackle, Tomas quickly turns and slash at the first demon behind him, who was still pulling out his sword. While Tomas' tail lash forward and knock the other one bow out of his hands.

Grabbing the demon, as he bleed from his neck, Tomas picks him up and throws him at the second demon. Throwing both off the edge. Before he heard movement behind him and remember the third and last demon. Turning around and dodging the attack, the blade glazing his cheeks lightly. Though it didn't cut as the scales deflect it. Rushing forward as he grabs the demon's head and slams him back up against the wall. Repeating it again and again until the demon stop moving. Seeing blood leaking out of the back of the demons head as he toss the body aside. Sighing as he took a peek outside, wondering where to attack next.

William

While William was in his weapon form, he could barely make out everything going on around him. All he could make out was Viktor screaming about someone..picking the rifle up? Was it about him? He didn't know, all he knew was that Viktor was in a good mood it seems, from just hearing his excitement when he could make out what he was saying.

As Viktor kept killing and shooting, William was feeling the toll hitting him now. He never really fired this much before, and it showed. Though he push on, they needed him and he wasn't going to give up at all until he was pass out from exhaustion, or died

Daniel watched as Viktor began to advance on the defenders and began taking shots at them, hitting a few times but mainly to force them in keeping their heads down; all the while he shouted off some kind of war cry or battle hymn, at the very least the vampire seemed to be enjoying himself. Daniel was about to advance himself, but was interrupted by the sound of an explosion coming from a vial that had landed, looking back he saw that it was Mirabelle who threw it.

"Nice one Miss Mirabelle!" Daniel congratulated with a thumbs up before he went over the cover and pressed on. Overhead he saw Tomas in his draconian form flying about taking out the odd demon here and there. As he approached, Daniel could see a demonic knight charging towards him, brandishing twin long-swords; the knight the first swung with the right blade, but bounced off a suddenly appearing card shield that Daniel had summoned, who countered with a slash that appeared to pierce the armour, but not significantly hurt the demon.

Pressing the attack, Daniel bashed the demon with the shield, knocking them back, and followed on with some precision blade-work that removed the demon's chest plate. This only appeared to enrage the demon further as they fiercely began swinging both blades hoping to catch Daniel in the fury, all the while bellowing "YOU WRETCH! I WILL END YOU!".

"Really now?" Daniel asked as he avoided the strikes, blocking a few hits with card shield which was slowly wearing out.

"Must admit, you got some good aim slick; think I know a guy who could use someone with your skills. Here, let me give their CARD!" He added, using the last of the shield's durability to knock the demon back, stunning them briefly before stabbing them repeatedly to death. Daniel then pivoted around and headed towards Viktor's location, taking out any demons along his path.

The shield flicked violently for a few moments thanks to the destruction of two Shield Stones, while in the chambers with the Stones them selves where filled with a blinding white light for a moment and knocked all persons in said chambers down due to the shock wave, and little more then a dazed feeling to show for it.

The shield it self stabilized after a few moments though noticeably dimmer then before.

Assault Team

The enemy forces thinned out, then with drew back inside, a few of them being heard shouting they where to 'search the interior for intruders'.

Upon hearing this Karis was quick to inform Juliet and Sol about the sudden shift in enemy movement over the coms, but before the Assault group could move further in to give said forces something 'more dangerous' to pay attention to, six black armor clad knights walked into view, two of which opened fire with strange looking bows and arrows of light while the other 4 lunged in to the group with a precision, coordination and speed that out stripped every one else they'd seen so far, and with strange shape changing weapons.

Viktor popped a few more shots at the defenders as the rest of the team engaged them, scoring a couple more non-fatal hits in the process. ??

Leaning out from cover once more to take a pot-shot at the retreating forces, he instead flinched as a glowing arrow whispered past his face. A half-dozen demons in what appeared to be better kit were pushing forward, two providing cover fire while the others closed. Hitting one of the new attackers square in the face, he grimaced as the shot dispersed, without the telltale flicker of an old enchantment barely managing to do its job.

Fuck? Part of him wished he?d been able to get the Juggernaut armour in time, but even if it had arrived soon enough, it wasn?t meant for melee combat. Propping the ?rifle? against the wall, he grabbed the still warm body of a dead demon and exposed its neck, the demonic metal burning his skin as he touched it. Sinking his fangs into the flesh, he drank quickly and deeply, before tossing the husk aside.

?Stay safe William.? He muttered, drawing his pistol. The power of the demon?s blood crackled through his body; he could clearly hear the heartbeats of everyone around him, and the smell of blood was so thick it was almost intoxicating. Looking out from cover once more, he saw that rubble had forced one of the attackers to move a bit too far from the allies on his flank; and the archers lacked a clear shot to cover him. Seeing this opening, Viktor launched from his position faster than one would expect, even for a vampire.

Slamming into the demon with a full body tackle, he jammed his gun up under the demon?s helmet and let loose with both barrels. At such close range the world seemed to explode, though unfortunately for Viktor the armour and its enchantments held?though understandably the demon itself was more than a little stunned. Wresting the demon?s weapon away, Viktor tripped up his opponent and drove him to the ground, raining blow after blow onto the helmet.

The nature of the metal still bit at his flesh every time he made contact, but his sledgehammer blows were causing the helmet to compress a bit with each hit.

Sol fell on his ass when the shockwave hit him, though he was glad he was invisible so that no one could see him. Well, invisible and alone. That wouldn't take long, though, as he noticed that the shield still stood, weaker than before, but still, it was there.

So this means we need to move for the last one.

He had hoped to avoid that. For the time being, he made himself visible, knowing that he had to rely on the amulet if he were to go after the last stone. Even more so as he heard what Karis had to say, unsurprisingly the light-show had tipped the guards off to the presences of him and Juliet.

"Hey, Juliet, I'm going to head for the unstable shield. You took down the other one, right?" he asked, just to make sure. "Because if you did, I think we'd be better off if both headed for the stone. Worst case scenario, if one of us gets stopped, the other can destroy it." He didn't like thinking about the chance of getting stopped, though. Because that meant being stopped by demons, who would probably murder him within seconds.

Wow, that's happy thoughts, Sol. Good job. God, I'm glad I'm not easily frightened, because if I were, I would be my own worst enemy.

"Anyhow, do what you need to do, I'm going towards the target now." With that, he was tired of waiting, sitting there would not make anything better, and, given that the location of the shield-stones were probably not a secret, the probability of something being on its way to take him down, right now, was fairly big. That was why, eyes wide open for anything that could try to attack him, Sol kept one hand on his amulet. He had only used a half minute, so in an emergency, it would be possible to get away without injury or anything apart from a slightly hurt ego.

As Daniel neared Viktor's position he finished off any demons that somehow managed to survive, of which fortunately, there were a couple. He was about to rendezvous with the vampire in question, when an arrow suddenly streaked past him, causing him to dodge roll to the right behind a broken section of pillar. Peeking out from behind cover, he could six heavily armoured knights approaching, two acting as archers whilst the others were melee troops, and they suddenly became familiar to him.

'Shite! Better let the others know what they're getting into.' Daniel said to himself as he turned on the earpiece comm-link and switched it to a team wide transmission.

"Careful everyone, these are the same type of soldier that jumped me and Sierra the other day. Be wary of those weapons as they can change shape. I'd we try and split them up, you know, divide and conquer and the like." Once he was done, Daniel looked for a means to get up close and personal with the archers.

William

William heard Viktor say something as he was put up against the wall. Transforming back into his normal self. When he did, he was on his hands and knees. Panting heavily and sweating as he was tired from all the shooting he did. Wiping the sweat off his forehead with his sleeve as he stood up. Looking to where Viktor when to to see him fighting.

Hearing Daniel comment as he start to charge at one of the Demons. Seeing one turning to help his comrade that was pin by Viktor. William jumped and turn his one fist into a Hammer. Smashing it up against the Demon's helmet as a loud cling was heard. William landed and rolled just in time. While the attack didn't do much damage, it did get the demon attention.

William transform his hammer hand into a sword, his left hand into a shield. Ready to do battle to at least keep this guy attention until help arrives.

Tomas

Tomas watch as six near guards came storming in, though this bunch look a lot tougher then the last group. Grunting as he jump into the air and dive bomb at one that was fighting a few of the other teammates. Slamming into the demon's back with his dragon-like feet. Though it merely stagger the demon forward a bit. Pushing off of his back qucikly to get a good distance.

"Huh..not really weak like the rest.." Tomas mention. Though he heard Daniel say this was teh same guys that took down Sierra. Tomas smile slightly, he was waiting for a true challenge and wanted to get back at them for hurting his teammate."Well..this should be interesting."

His dragon-like pride building up as he look forward to the fight. Getting into a stance as he join the fight with the others to fight this demon.

Juliet sprang back to her feet immediately, already assuming her full demonic form. But there seemed to be no immediate threat. Need to get out of here, no doubt the explosion will draw attention... and the shield is still up, that ought to be expected.

"Because if you did, I think we'd be better off if both headed for the stone. Worst case scenario, if one of us gets stopped, the other can destroy it.

"Yeah I got mine," she replied "I'll see you at the last one."

Or not if you get caught by demons. Hopefully not the case, I have a feeling this last one will be guarded.

Of course she could guess that perhaps Val Ruk himself was guarding it, though there were no guarantees. Only one way to find out. She thought as she moved quickly towards the last stone.

Viktor

Another arrow whizzed past Victor as he beat on the demons head, this one grazing the back of his neck, distracting the vampire long enough to give the Demon he was on time to punch him in the kidneys then throw the Vampire off him and into an ornate pillar before charging over to Viktor with the intent of taking the vampires head of with the next punch.

William

The Demon William attacked just gave William that 'really ...' look, even through his helm you could tell. The Demon just sighed "Fine, you first then." and turned his weapon, a sword, into a halberd and begun it's assault on William.

Tomas

The demon Tomas drop kicked recovered and his weapon reshaped into a sword commonly used by Dragon Slayers, and started attacking Tomas in earnest.

Mirabelle/Daniel

With the situation with his team mate resolved for now, the archer that shot at Viktor, and now did have a clear shot at the vampire due to his team mate moving in for the kill turned toward Mirabelle, and unleashed an Arrow of light in her direction that, then split into several arrow, effectively creating a shotgun like attack.

mean while the other archer was looking for the one that had gone missing. He knew he wasn't dead but the demon couldn't see or feel his presence, and started putting much bigger Arrows of Light into cover, arrows strong enough to punch a hole in the stone to try and flush it's target out.

Karis

Karis drew his sword and met the one closest to him sword to sword. From just that initial clash it was clear Karis had the physical advantage, but one blocked strike with his gauntlet, and the demons blade slicing through his armor and into his arm, enchantment and all told him the demon was still going to be an issue, more concerning was the damage already being done to his sword. Karis cursed. "Be-warned, their weapons are not slowed by defensive enchantments." he relayed over the coms as he parried his opponent.

Stealth Team

As the Assault team fought this new threat from Lucifer's guard, Duaghtry's team snuck past and and into the castle, only then did they try to raise Juliet and Sol on the coms to inform them they where moving to intercept the security in the castle.

mean while, the closer Juliet got the the shield stone, the stronger the presence of Juri became, as well as a second, much stronger demon. not only that, but the closer they got to the stone, the less the signal flickered, and the more it became a rhythmic breathing motion. This last Shield stone was alive, and very like capable of defending it self.

Catching himself as he bounced off the pillar, Viktor rolled free just as the demon punched a chunk out of it. ?Materi tvojij kovin'ka pederast!? He spat. The broken bones and damaged organs from the impacts where already almost healed thanks to the ?boost? he?d gotten from the demon blood; even by vampiric standards, this looked to be a punishing fight.

Enraged by his miss, the demon pulled the battered helm from his head and cast it aside; while he was distracted doing that, Viktor scarpered back towards the body of another dead demon, helping himself to the knife [https://img1.etsystatic.com/074/0/7291483/il_340x270.821639531_tuez.jpg] on its belt. He was no swordsman by any stretch of the imagination, but he knew knives.

As the warrior rounded on him, Viktor met the attack, driving a knee into the demon?s cuirass as hard as he could manage, while grappling at the demons face with his left hand and trying to drive the knife into gaps in the armour with his right. The sound of blood thundered in his ears, and the smell of it crackled like lightning through his mind; grappling with his opponent, Viktor began to laugh.

"Sol be careful," she whispered "this last one can defend itself, and I sense demons nearby, strong ones. Take them by surprise if you can."

The stronger demon she sensed had to be Val Ruk, he and Juri were never far apart in the field after all. No doubt he was making some effort to hide his presence or she would have sensed him sooner. Similarly she was doing her best to hide her presence now in the hopes that he would not sense her. Though there are other demons around the area he'd have to tell me apart from, which should give me a bit of an edge. Even so they would have to be careful, if Val Ruk was here that meant he was a traitor which meant she had no reason not to kill him given the chance. All the same he was dangerous, Sol using his amulet to catch the demon off guard was their best chance, and failing that she and Sol would have to gang up on him. So long as we can fight him separate from Juri we'll have the edge in numbers.

She allowed herself an excited grin, fangs poking out among her smile. Only two things brought this feeling, executing a scheme flawlessly, and dismantling another's scheme in one motion. Here right before her now there was the opportunity to do the latter to one of the individuals she disliked most.

It appeared that Daniel didn't have much time to look though, as he had to quickly avoid several large Light Arrows that had managed to pierce the cover he was hiding behind. Although he realised this was all a ploy to flush him out into the open, Daniel didn't exactly have a lot of options open to him at the moment. As he went to dive towards the next section of cover, he could see that two arrows had been fired ahead of him; and just as they were about to hit him, he sliced both of them in half with his cards, causing them to fly harmlessly above and beneath him as he landed with a slight thud.

"Be-warned, their weapons are not slowed by defensive enchantments." Reported Karis over the comms unit.

"Thanks for the heads up, didn't have much time to go on the offensive when me and Sierra fought the other lot." Daniel replied as he sat himself against another pillar.

'Time to change that me thinks.' He then said to himself he pulled out a whole deck, shuffling them about a couple times before holding them in his hand and speaking into them: Uzm Hsrvow or Fan Shield in the basic language. As the cards began to circle around him, Daniel leapt over the cover and began to charge at the Archer who was still shooting at him, once he was within striking distance he would make his swing.

"Careful everyone, these are the same type of soldier that jumped me and Sierra the other day. Be wary of those weapons as they can change shape. I'd we try and split them up, you know, divide and conquer and the like."

Mirabelle felt aprehensive at the information now provided. The fact that these were the same types of beings that injured what was originally the most skilled of them in combat brought proverbial chills down her chassis. She really didn't know how she could take things like them on in comparison, especially with the lack of hand-to-hand training that she had. Still, the more she looked at them, the more she realized that she had seen those beings before, the armor matching the wrecked prices of metal that she saw worn by the corpses, the first time she had visited the hospital after Sierra's injury. Of course, that meant she had also seen them dead already, which did bring some small comfort to her.

That lasted until one of the archers shot an arrow of light at her. She tried to jump out of the way, diving to her left, only to find that the arrows split up, acting like a shotgun. Most of the shots missed save for a couple of them which shot into her right arm, one grazing her forearm, and one piercing through her forearm. She was suprised that the arrows did that much damage but then she heard for Karis about the defence ignoring aspect of their weapons, thus making Sierra's enchantment useless. Luckily, they didn't seem to hit anything that hindered her movement of the arm, though she was worried about the strength of it. That attack was not a thing that she wanted to take lightly...she would have to think of a way around it, preferably before he shot again.

She scrambled back up onto her feet, still thinking, ducked behind some cover and observed the other archer take aim with bigger arrows. He shot at the columns, shooting through them in an attempt to hit whoever was hiding on the other side, making Mirabelle thankful that the other one hadn't used such ammo on her...and that struck an idea within her.

Moving to the end of the column, she smashed her left hand into it a couple of times, breaking off a circle of it that was somewhat smaller than the length of both her arms and light enough to carry. With that, she grabbed either side and lifted her now movable cover, compensating for the right arm by shifting most of the weight onto the left, before she charged at the demon. Of course, she wasn't trying to block his shots with it, though that was an obvious bonus. Instead, she was trying to bait him into using one of those column destroying arrows, and hoping to use that time to close the distance and render his bow ineffective. So, inorder for that to happen, she kept a look out over the top of her cover, ready to hide her head in case he shot at it and ready to drop it and dodge once he shot his column destroying arrow.

William

William gulped as the demon came after him. Doing the best he could to protect himself as he block with his shield. Though it seem the demon was merely playing with its food. Knocking William around as William tried to keep standing from such attacks. His heart was racing as this was his first major fight. Blocking the demon onslaught as the demon seeming was getting piss at William surviving this long even.

Sweat dripped down William forehead as the blade of the demon got closer and closer to hitting it's goal. Will was panting heavily as he was push back more and more. Seeing the Shield wasn't working that well, Will thought of another idea. Turning his hands into steel gloves as he grabbed the halberd as the demon thrust it forward. Will manage to block and hold it within his grasp. Turning his feet into heavy blocks of Steel to keep him in place. Though the demon nearly laugh and grab William with his right arm. Throwing him up in the air so he can just skewer him at his descent.

Though as William is falling down, he had a idea. A stupid, reckless, one in a million chance idea. He turn himself into his rifle form. The barrel just aiming at the eye opening in the helmet. Taking a shot as he pour more power into this shot then ever before. Firing and hitting the demon square in the eyes. Though it didn't blow out of the armor and kept bouncing back and forth within the helmet.

Making the demon's head into swiss cheese before the bullet finally disappeared and the demon fell over, blood pouring out of the helmet. William stay in his gun mode for a while, before transforming back into his normal body. Laying down and not moving much beside a light movement of his chest. He slowly wakes up as he looks around, seeing the dead demon before him. Just sitting there, seeing that this was his first "true" kill.

Tomas

"Not sure if I should take this as a honor or not..you pulling out a dragon killing sword." Tomas remark as he dodge the attack that the demon swung at him. The next swing, Tomas knocked it away with his tail as he went in for an attack of his own. Though when he try to cut through the demon armor, he found this one to be much stronger and sturdier then the other. Cursing to himself as he back off for now.

Though the demon didn't leave up as he charge at Tomas. Tomas kept backing off and looking for a weak point. Using his tail as a club to knock the sword away. Though he knew he wouldn't be able to keep this up for long. There was one way he might be able to pull this off, though he was reluctant to do so.

Seeing he had no other choice, Tomas decide to go into his Dragon form. Jumping back a good distance to do the change as he try to call forth his Dragonic will. Feeling the beast within waking up as his dark blue scales start to entrench more over his body. His light pale skin being covered up by dark blue brilliant looking scales.

Before long, his jaw was growing further to look like a snout of a dragon. His eye pupil color changing to a dark red. Though during all this, the demon charge, not wanting him to change fully. Though as he swung down the blade to cut off Tomas head. Tomas ducked quickly enough and then upper cut the demon gut. Denting the armor as the demon was at lost of breath.

Tomas was in a feral like state as he stared at the demon with killing intent. Growling as the demon stagger backwards a bit before gaining his ground once more. While noone could see within the Demon's helmet, it was easy to tell that he was pissed off. Dragon Tomas stare at the demon, waiting for him to make the first move.

"Sol be careful, this last one can defend itself, and I sense demons nearby, strong ones. Take them by surprise if you can."

"I see... I'll go ahead then." Sol frowned as he spoke. He hoped Juliet was going to be right behind him, but, in the end, he had no choice but to act. The sooner they got the shield down, the sooner they could get away. Contacting Daughtry's team, he requested that they made sure to have at least someone headed for the last shield-stone -that seemed to be alive- to ensure that he wouldn't be completely fucked if he failed. He activated his amulet and started moving quicker, running even. He prepared a post-it-note with a protective spell, but only for when the amulet was out of charge. It only had a limited amount of energy, after all.

Why couldn't the last one be a distraction?

He thought to himself, as he entered the room it was in.

Then I could have retreated already.

There was a joke somewhere in that about pulling out, but honestly, Sol was a little to focused on the task ahead to make stupid jokes.

Sol/Juliet

As they made their way into the room, the spotted 2 figures, an Asian looking woman, and a big bipedal Vulture. A Vulture that seemed to be arguing, rather heatedly with the boulder in the middle of the room, a boulder with the shield runes carved into it and 3 eyes, so clearly it was another demon, one that dwarfed the size of the rather lippy Vulture by comparison, though give it was currently looking very 'big rock' like it was likely much bigger and simply hunkered down, likely due to the current assault on the castle and not it's current company, if the tone he used with the Vulture was anything to go by.

"You don't give me orders Vyrlian, don't forget your no longer in charge of anything beside keeping the barrier up, and that it was our Lord that decreed it so." The Vulture snarled "You just do your job and keep the barrier up and leav."

The Vulture was cut off there by Vyrlian uncoiling his massive tail and slamming it on the floor around the vulture demon. "I would sooner stand alone against the combine might of the Queens, Ansoth and their full army's then ever leave the command of my force in your unworthy hands. It's is your fault Ansoth still lives, and his kingdom is still sided against us, your fault the mercenary attacked Ansoth's brother and not the young emperor him self, it's your fault the Queens where able to resurrect him and gain him on their side." Vyrlian snapped back "Your best men couldn't even kill the girl he was reborn in, you had to go behind my back and steal my men to just put her in the hospital." he snarled "and now, under your incompetent leadership, our forces are being pushed back by children from the Earth Realm, not their finest warrior and soldiers, mere CHILDREN!." Vyrlian said, clearly pissed off at the situation, emphasized by the crackle of electricity in the air.

The Vulture looked to the Asian woman, who then left the room, 'floating' it seemed past Sol and Juliet in their hiding spots. "The status of my forces forces are none of your concern, and if you continue this insubordination I will have to inform our Lord of your, disloyal turn in attitude." Vyrlian just narrowed his eyes in the kind of glare that could burn the tiles off the space shuttle. "Do, and I shall make certain your cancerous life ends that day as well Ruk, you will not live to enjoy the 'rewards' you are so undeserving of."

Daniel/Mirabelle

As Daniel swung his blade down at the demon, the demon changed his bow to a sword himself to block the blade, only to have the Holy Blade start to burn through the demon's weapon. The Demon was quick to kick Daniel away from him and take flight to a higher floor. The demon still had his weapon, but it was damaged, Daniel probably didn't know but that kind of damage would prevent it from be able to change shape for now.

mean while the demon that had gotten Mirabelle's attention turned from the approaching 'pillar' to the much greater threat of Daniel and his Holy Blade, and wasted no time taking a snap shot that also split in into several arrows as soon as his squad-mate was clear.

Karis/Viktor

Karis watched, mostly annoyed, as his sword was cut clean through while trying to parry a strike from his opponent. the black knight moved in, quickly, and in what looked to be a repeat of what happened to Sierra slashed Karis across the chest, Karis however took a step back as the strike was incoming, causing the damage done by the shape-shifting blade to be confined to the mercenary's armor. Karis took this opportunity to lunge forward, grab the sword arm of the black knight, and kick the demon in the junk hard enough to lift him off the ground before twisting him around, in such a manner as you could actually hear the demons arm shattering from the force of him being jerked around before Karis slammed him face first into the ground, and before the demon could recover Karis buried his now broken sword in the gap between the demons helm and it's chest plate, almost cutting his head clean off in the process.

Karis turned to take quick stock of the situation, to see Viktor starting to loose ground against his opponent, figuring the buff from earlier was starting to where off, Karis picked up the weapon for the demon he just killed and much to his surprise it did what he wanted it to, and formed a bow, Karis quickly let lose an arrow of light into the back of Viktor's opponent punching a hole clean through the demons armor, as, from Karis's vantage point it looked as though the demon was moving in for the kill.

Tomas

The demon had that look of 'well, shit' under his helm and switch up from a Dragon Slaying Sword, to a Dragon Slaying Halberd and took flight to attack Tomas from the air since staying grounded in a fight with a full sized dragon was generally a bad plan if you could fly. Especially if your a smaller target. The came at Tomas in an aggressive yet cautious manner, taking advantage of Tomas's obvious inexperience to create openings for him to take advantage of. But he was still fighting a Dragon, and knew one slip up would cost him the fight.
