My God I am going to slap you so hard.Andy Chalk said:Word on the street is that Gearbox is considering a switch to the new CryEngine in order to make sure the game is up to speed with the latest technology.
They didn't say they were working on it. They just said they were planning on doing it. Planning and doing are different things don'tcha know.hansari said:Andy Chalk said:Gearbox has plans for post-release DLC![]()

Randy has said that there won't be any editor tools straight out of the box. But he says that Gearbox loves the idea and will consider releasing mod tools after the game is released. They mostly want to focus on making the actual game as good as possible, and not use up precious time and resources by making mod tools to release with the game.Hiphophippo said:Editors tools? For PC users? Hmm...as prolific as I was a map maker for Duke 3D I'm willing to go out on a limb and give this game my gut reaction GOTY if I get good mod tools.
Which I can respect. First and foremost I just want to play the game as a long time fan of the duke. Beyond that, dicking around with the game would just make it better for me.Triforceformer said:Randy has said that there won't be any editor tools straight out of the box.
