When I told somebody to paint their wooden model car red for a race. They gave me an odd look, and asked "Why?". I returned the same look, and patiently explained "Red 'uns go fasta!".

This won't make any sense to people who don't know much about Warhammer 40k.
Ah, such a beautiful piece of logic :')
There is actually a grain of logic to this, as red is better at absorbing heat, so reasonably it would have a neglible effect upon speed. Of course, by this logic you could say that black ones go faster, but that's just not Orky

I just remembered I had a habit of singing the FF victory tune when I won something, cards, arguments, anything. I still do it occasionally.

Friend: "So, have you broken any hearts lately? (that is: dating girls, then dumping them fairly quickly afterwards, something neither I or my friend would do)"
Me: "Only GLaDOS (jokingly, of course. I was refering to the Heartbreaker achievement)"
Another friend (a not so good one): *facepalm*
Me: starts laughing, after all, I just trolled someone trolled irl ;) (No I don't troll usually, on the net or not)

One time me and couple of my really nerdy friends where discussing acheivements and i went "wouldn't it be cool if we could have achievements in real life" and that was also the moment i realised that i am a nerd.

I've said a lot of other nerdy stuff in public i just can't remember right now.

It was a presentation I made in highschool in a physics class and I was very enthusiastic about it. Upon finishing the proof I was doing I whisteled the final fantasy end battle theme.

This one isn't quite as geeky, but I was asked in history class what I thought about the cold war. All I could reply was "I'm very happy that nuclear war didn't break out and distroy the world... Because.. That's where I keep all my stuff"
People started laughing and I realised that I had instinctively quoted a futurama episode :).

Oh I've got a lot and I do these almost everyday.

When eating a 'Sandvich' I like to yell "OM NOM NOM"
If something stops working right: "Spy sappin' mah _____!"
If I'm really bored: "Where can I find the chems?"
When eating Mentos: "Oh glorious Mentats where would I be without the +5 bonus to Intelligence and Perception?"
Then at random intervals I like to yell you of these
"THUUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DAWG!"
"Gentleman"
" The power of my uberleet hacks compells you!"
or my personal faverite:
"KILL ALL HUMANS!"

being forced to explain to my english teacher where the words 'drokk' and 'grud' came from, and also what they meant in the real world. ( For those that don't follow 2000AD, they are judge Dredd terms meaning fuck and god respectively. And try explaining that in front of a class of thirty chavs)

I once used Batman as a topic for a speech in college. I was so busy at work and school that I forgot to prepare a persuasive speech until I got to class. All I knew when it was my turn was that I was going to do a speech on Batman. I ended up speaking for the full 5 minutes on why Batman is the greatest superhero ever created, citing specific examples of comics, issues, writers, the whole shebang. Completely off the cuff. I ended up getting 99 out of 100 for the speech, better than even the people who had prepared for a week.

During one lunchtime I talked my friends through the entire plot of the manga "Monster" just to show them how awesome the medium could be, I recommend it to you too.

In a PSD class (Personal Social Development), when asked if I had "Achieved" anything over the half term break, I blurted out "I got my Shaman to level 30". Stunned silence and giggling were my reward. That question is asked alarmingly frequently where I go to school, and I always talk about videogames. "I killed General RAAM on Insane" "I beat Halo on Legendary" "My Green Knight is now level 40"

When given a gift once I actually did the whole Zelda lift-it-above-your-head-and-hum Du-Duh-duh-DUH!

"Grabbin' PEEELZ"

When I feel ill I sometimes say "Damn I need a Stimpack"

I spent 5 minutes explaining why purchasing the WoW Battle Chest is much better value than simply buying WoW and the Burning Crusade (pre-WotLK).
