Americans, and alot of Brits too I guess, really need to understand the differences between gay, camp and I-don't-like-that-about-you.

I don't really have something like this; I suppose my gaming could be counted though, so that.

I have a nice, soft, figure, which is *not* balanced out by my utter asexuality. Still many people confuse me for gay.

Gamer girl, listens to metal, likes scary movies, and can't stand pink. I think we're building our own stereotype tho. Oh and skirts are fail.. unless they are super huge awesome 'ball' skirts of the Renaissance and such. Pretty.

I'd rather a game/book/movie had well developed characters and a deep and moving story than lot's of blood and guts (although sometimes mindless gore can be fun).

I dislike football (soccer) which is apparently abnormal.

Cars are machines designed for transportation, not drooling over.

I don't think Twilight is "gay" (although it does have problems).

I don't find toilet humour funny.

90% (99, if you ask anyone other than myself) of everything I do would probably be considered gender "inappropriate".

Hell, I don't even sit in a manner considered "appropriate" for my gender.

I do have long hair, though. Girls are supposed to have that? Right?

In all reality, it does seem like I'm more of a guy than a gal most of the time...

I listen to a few of Backstreet Boys songs. And I'm meant to be a manly man. (Y)

Also;
Ellie Goulding
Pop from *NYSNC
Haven't Met You Yet from Michael Buble

Mind you that's not ALL I listen to.

I'm 27 and unmarried. Depending on the culture, I could be considered a dowager.

But only if I was filthy rich. If I was, I'd fill my house with stray cats and fling them at trespassers.
Fling, or fire from a crossbow?
You have a point. A solid gold crossbow strung with the strongest silk strands.
Logic forces me to ask the following questions...

How would you lift this crossbow? Gold is shiny but heavy.

If you have enough money to buy said crossbow, why fill your house with stray cats when you could buy the most pedigree of moggies?
Clearly you have studied high class cat flinging at some length. I must admit, I am merely an amateur cat flinger. Is there a metal alloy that is much lighter than gold, yet just as expensive?

As for the strays, I figured I would lure them off the street, thus solving the stray cat problems of the city, and ensuring that a majority of them have diseases they can pass on to trespassers with but a scratch. I suppose that would mean I'd need clean rooms to separate them from the rest of the house...

Also, what are moggies? And would they be as ornery as strays?

I've encountered one of your role models. She pinged me with a siamese at 20m.
She must be one of the masters! I could only imagine your response was, "HOLY F*CK!!! THAT-...that was amazing."

Surely with such a crossbow it should be strung with catgut?
You have a very good point. I wonder...if it was a compound crossbow, it could also be a very expensive makeshift violin.

-I like a good turn based JRPG every now and then. (That was a joke, okay?.. I don't care how unfunny it was, calm down, dammit!)
As funny as that is, it's sadly true that most female gamers only play turn based JRPGS or Kingdom Hearts. :(
On that note, I love playing shooters and sandboxes.

Also, I love violent, gutsy, movies. Though blood makes me queasy irl. Irony, no?
Honestly though, lotsa chicks nowadays have "manly" attributes and people are down with it. Not that big of a deal. It's just more socially unacceptable for a guy to display feminine qualities unless they're gay.

*ahem*
I enjot watching cooking shows, I know interior design, color scheme, I always worry about how my hair looks, I will sometimes bathe 3 times a day depending on situation, I spend roughly an hour in front of a mirror, I put the toilet seat down when I'm done, etc.
I've stopped listing for fear of losing my manhood.

I love to bake and dislike most sports besides soccer. But, I mean, c'mon, no one in my house will make some damn cookies. All I want are some damn cookies!

I'm a boy and my hair is long, I have a curvy slender figure, I'm overly emotional, I read female oriented romance manga, I spend a lot of time in the bathroom on my looks, and I have a soft, sensitive personality.

All in all I embrace my femininity though, I don't believe in preconceived notions of how boys of girls are "supposed" to act.

I like to wash myself (in the shower) with nice scented body wash, you know, the kind only women would use, or a man who LOVES to smell nice, mmmmm, flowers smell so good

For example, I'm a 19 year old male and I love stuffed animals and all things adorable. I also love television shows about fashion and dancing, romantic movies, shoujo manga, and I despise pretty much all sports. Living in the American South, I always get questionable looks if I mention any of that, especially since hunting, guns and football reign supreme around here.
Well I don't think they're looking at you like that because they want you to enjoy other things. I think they are similar to you and wondering if you want to go out to a gay bar.

There is another very similar thread on here called "Cliches and stereotypes that piss you off". Not sure whos came first though.

Regardless, I used to get upset when people thought I was a hippy just because I smoked pot and had long hair. I mean, I still bathed and got in fist fights, so I was 2 for 4.
