In an anime called Lum, a boy meets a genie(actually an alien, but same concept) who says she'll grant him one wish. He's a not-so-popular high school kid and is completely smitten by her beauty, so he wishes for her to be his girlfriend. Pretty cool.

Does this remind anyone else of Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption? Because Christof goes through the same thing (Except it's entombed in rock and stuck in torpor for centuries).

I doubt that the genie would imply that you wanted the whole shebang-a-bang when you ask for immortality, but if you explained mid-wish, I suppose it would work.

I would wish for magic in all shapes and forms to belong wholly to me.
