Genres You Just CANNOT Get Into...

Rts's, Waaaaaaaaaaay to slow, and I can play JRPG's for 5 hours straight.

Pretty much that.
Oh, and I also can't get into most sports games.

OT: Sports and racing games. For all those reasons everyone else has already mentioned.

RTS and sports games. Though that said I'm becoming quite a fan of the Dota offspring: Heroes of Newerth.

oh and i find it difficult to like anything involving turn based strategy.

Hack & Slash and most Fighter games.

This means I dislike God of War, Street Fighter, Prototype, Infamous, and will probably dislike the gameplay for Brutal Legend. Haha, take that!

Also, a part of me doesn't even include sports games in the actual video game pool. So there's another genre I can't get into, I guess.

I'm with you here. I must include grand theft auto and the like.

And I fail to see why so many people enjoy god of war. Its a dressed up, single player gauntlet legends.

RPGs in general. No particular reason, they just never managed to grab my interest long enough for me to even learn how to play them (Closest I can stand is Diablo).

Also, for people who don't like RTS: Multiwinia may be a good place to start since it's fairly straightforward and fast paced as well as cheap, Dawn of War 2 may also be a good option.

Most games that aren't RPGs I find a lot harderto really fall into in the first place. I mean, they still interest me and such but truely getting immersed in them I find is really hard. The only exception I really can think of at the moment is Far Cry 2.

Some sports games mainly US sports like baseball basketball and American Football also RTS games I normally can't get into them because I don't have the patience although I played C and C 3 and Halo wars and loved them

Sports games. If i want to play football i would join my schools football team. If i can find gunfights, magic, sneaking thief/military missions, giant robots, and guns that can compensate for a whole city of unsatisfied women, and when i die i respawn.

Sports games definetely! So horrible. And generic shooters. I prefer games to be creative and somewhat original, rather than generic shooters about space marines killing aliens.
