Multiplayer-only/mainly FPS games, and MMORPGs in general. I'm a singleplayer sort of person.

There are only two genres I find I really don't enjoy:

Realistic Racing. Because it's not a good racing game unless you have a weapon to shoot at an enemy, or can smash yourself into the side of their car and make them go flying.

Platforming. Now I might enjoy a FPS game that has Platforming elements, and I might enjoy a Puzzle RPG that has platforming elements. But the Platforming in and of itself is just stupid and I can't stand any games that are/were based around jumping.

Sports- I just never saw the appeal of playing something that you can easily play in real life. Although I do like arcade sports games like NBA Jam & NFL blitz (Nintendo 64 version)

MMORPGS- The main reason I don't like these is that most if not all MMORPGS are grindfests and I loathe grinding. Which is odd since I enjoy Call Of Duty Multiplayer, which is built on grinding.

Fighting games- Most fighting games are too complicated and trying to beat someone playing online is like trying to kill an rhino with a toothpick.

Sims: same reason as sports.

Edit: I will also like to add Survival Horror Games. I never really enjoyed them plus 90% of them are not really scary and little more then action games with flickering lights and disheveled buildings.

And for everyone who says racing and sports games, RACING IS A SPORT.

Like many here, not a big fan of sports, racing or simulation games. I really suck at RTS games; I don't dislike them, but boy do I suck.

MMORPGs (slow, boring, mindless grinding)
Racing (i dont like cars in general so meh)
Fighting (usually too complicated and require too much effort to master)
Sports (boring, not enough explosions)

RTS and any game with Turn based combat. They bore and frustrate me to no end, I just don't find them at all enjoyable (although I did finish mystic quest as a young lad :p )

Anything that has to do with managing resources, especially tower defence. I impulsively use as much of my stuff as possible, as quickly as possible. It always comes back to bite me not a long time later.(Do I not like them because I'm bad at them or am I bad at them because I don't like them? I dunno.)

Modern. Shooters. Gore and blur and ironsights and gunmetal grey+ shit brown landscape.
I actually like the third person version bwcause third person shooters are generally RPGs with guns... and I like RPGs.
MMO's of any type. People are... less than appetizing and should generally be shot while in the womb, why do I want anything to do with them?
Sums it up for me

Platformers. The only one I ever liked was Mirror's Edge. Makes sense, huh?

Racing games. I'm just plain bad at them. The only good one was Crazy Taxi.

WRPG's: I don't really hate these games but Bioware is sure trying to make me hate them. I don't mind a company repainting a game once in a while but it's been five games now where I've been playing fucking baldurs gate!

Baldurs gate in star wars
Baldurs gate in china
Baldurs gate in an Isaac Asimov noval
and finally Baldurs gate in baldurs gate but with titties and gore.

Bethseda is at least trying to give you an interesting game to play but I just wish they wouldn't be about as boring then mowing my lawn.

Sports: I have no personal interest in team sports and I find that the only people who continue to buy these games are those pathetic super-fan people who we need to stop allowing them to be fucking freaks. Honestly, who here who doesn't like sports actually play these damn things?

FPS: I used to really like FPS games long long time ago, and I know each and every generation has one genre that becomes the flavor of the month (NES, platformers. SNES, Fighters. PSX, RPGs, PS2, action-adventure.) but for the most part (except the SNES.) the majority of them were pretty good games. It seems the Genre peaked last generation and they just keep churning the damn thing out.

Also, MMO's are from the devil.

RTS: I just find them dull.

Anything turn based as well with just a few exceptions (most of which allow you to move at least).

RTS, they're just so tedious and micromanagy, I can't stand dealing with them. At first it's okay, but it gets so damn obnoxious I just can't stand it...

Yet I enjoy MMOs, odd, ain't it?

MMORPGs. Right-click to attack. wait for it to die, possibly use skills to speed it up. THIS IS NOT REAL-TIME! IT'S GLORIFIED TURN-BASED STRATEGY
I have to agree with this guy. MMORPG's could be handled so much better.

Racing and Sports seem to be popular choices, and I must agree with them. I'm also not particularly fond of fighters or "beat-um-ups".

Little surprised by the RTS hate, though...that makes me a sad panda.

FPS. Aside from the fact they're dull and peaked when I was nearly 3, all the modern ones are based around multiplayer modes populated by a huge number of people who should have been gassed at birth.
Now that isn't nice.

And neither is that! What is it with you people and your lust for infanticide!?

EDIT: Oh, and I am afraid to say I stopped enjoying all sorts of JRPGs shortly after hitting puberty (that wasn't meant as an insult to JRPG fans, but that really was when I stopped liking them). Dunno why, just kinda happened.

MMORPG's. I don't know. I usually have to pay for it, and I don't like paying $15 a month for doing the same shit over and over and over again. I get that for free in my daily life.
