Have you considered something like guild wars, i think that would be the most time efficient for you. And if that is not your cup of tea wait for starcraft 2.

Well considering that you've listed pretty much every game I've ever enjoyed... You'd probably like the orange box.
I could also suggest borderlands or something like batman: arkham asylum but borderlands could get somewhat boring after a while.

Diablo 2 (or something similar) could be fun with a stable internet connection.

How the hell do you get by on 20 bucks a month? I literally spend that every day, and I'm a student.
Your avatar just made my night, good sir.

OT: Get TF2. It's my buddy's addiction... she rarely comes up for air anymore.

Team Fortress 2, goddamnit.
It's the best multiplayer game I have ever played ever. I've only got it for the PS3 until I get my laptop back, but even with it's stripped down game play compared to the PC I'm still not bored of it.
Also, the Medic is the best game character ever. [small]Yes, I'm a Medic fanboy; sue me[/small]

Just get TF2. You won't regret it.

I'd reccomend getting Deus Ex for $9.99, and getting into some kind of self-employmant gig. Beyond the general advice that you should hit the bargain bin, I have nothing to say.
Well it's about time someone mentioned this. I thought people had forgotten the best game of existance...

But yeah, Deus Ex, if you like it, you'll love it. I played it for about 7 weeks after I got it, exploring everything, again and again, now I re-install it for a week or two every year.

Why yes, I think Gentlemen should always wear hats. More than one, if possible. And a monocle.

My rule is that if the thread title does not tell me what the thread is about, I just make up a topic and go with it.

Counter-strike source and Day of Defeat source are other great valve games. I've been playing Counterstrike source for many many years. It has ALOT of game modes =P

edit Just Cause 2 should work on your PC, but you wont get as much out of it as css, dods or tf2
