He has made at least two more confirmed changes. Here's the first one.

I can tolerate this one, I can grit my teeth and power through it. It's near the end of the movie and Return is already a clownshoes silly movie cause of the Ewoks.

But this next scene, THIS NEXT SCENE.

FUCK YOU LUCAS! FUCK YOU AND DIE!

What is the point of these? They sound horribly out of place, and I don't just mean that in a nostalgic "He shouldn't be messing with the old movies"

The new sounds don't integrate at all into the scenes, maybe Darth's second 'Nooo!', but his first was just... fake, and Obi Wans call is just weird, I mean, what was wrong with the first call he did?

As I've said before, somebody needs to give Lucas a proper project to do, to stop him ruining all his good films. Can't we think of some marginally good sci-fi piece that no one really cared for, that we could give him to redo?

Oh for Buddha's sake.
The films are his property, so if he wants to tinker with them, it's his right. And if you don't like the changes, just watch a non-altered version. Just because a new version appears it doesn't mean the old ones magically disappear.

Actually, you might be onto something. Maybe we can get him to reboot Firefly and then lock up every episode after he's finished. I mean, Star Wars was great the first time he made them...

OT:I think now he just want's to see how much he can troll us/get away with.

George Lucas is the best and worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. He's the best because he created it. He's the worst because he can't seem to leave it the fuck alone.

But they do! When he makes a new version he does his best to destroy the old versions. The first time the movies were digitally remastered he actually destroyed the original film reels so no one would be able to revert to the original screen version. That's how crazy he is about this stuff.

I really hope these are fakes, that's one of my favorite moments of the original trilogy, and Lucas had to frak it up. Both of them seem like someone is just trying to troll the fanbase. I really want these Blu-Rays too, once I get a PS3 and HD TV. Also, we totally had a thread about this the other day.

He didn't need to say no in that scene. The physicality said it for him.

Actually... I'm kinda the opposite. While the second one could be better, it's still better than what was there before and much better explains the sandpeople running away.

The first one though... that scene was much more powerful with a silent Vader. Ick.

AND ALSO HAN SHOT FIRST DAMMIT. >.>

I laughed. At both of them. Vader has a well known habit of saying "No" when he's real emotional, and I have the distinct feeling Obi-Wan was just yelling "wooo!" because he was gonna butcher him some sand people! Damn old legs weren't fast enough.

Not into those changes at all.

So a composed elder Jedi howls like an idiot, wonderful.

And when I saw the sand people, I thought it was going to be a rape scene between them and Luke. That would have been most disturbing.

How does it better explain it? The official explanation is that he was mimicking a Krayt Dragon's roars, and while that's never explained in the films the first version would seem to convey that better simply because the sound used for that scene didn't sound human, whereas the new one is easily recognizeable as such.

The bastards done it again!!! Still cant believe he put Hayden Christensen or how ever the hell you spell his last name at the end of Epi. VI. This time, Samuel L. Jackson and Natalie Portman will probably make cameos. Hell, at this point Im expecting Jar Jar Binks to show up.

Do we count Howard The Duck as Marginally Good? Or Sci Fi? Or a Movie, or is it like a mistake we just keeping hesitating to mention at the dinner table?

Ughhhhh, I really hope these are fake, particularly the second clip. You honestly expect me to believe a creature that looks like this

has such a wussy cry? The original version actually sounded like an intimidating roar. I'm talking about the "original" original version here, as in the one that hit theaters in 1977 (God this is becoming confusing). Sadly I can't find a good sample on Youtube, so you kids are going to have to trust me on this one.

As for the first, didn't Lucas learn his lesson the first time around?

I like to draw, very much so. I like to think I'm good at it, having been doing it for a while. Sometimes, I'll sit and draw for a few hours, and eventually have something in front of my that I'm somewhat proud of. However, I'll notice something that doesn't sit quite right with me, and I'll try to fix it, and by doing so, I accidentally make the whole thing worse, and then I'd try to fix that. Maybe I would, but it still wouldn't be as good as it was at first, so I'd try to restore it, and I'd fuck it up again, until I eventually got it back to something satisfactory, and then just stop drawing.
I don't do this as much as I did a few years ago, and every once and a while, I'll still do it, but for the most part, I learned. I know when to just stop drawing.

George Lucas never learned to stop. Fucking. Drawing.

I actually kinda liked how Vader said no in the first vid. It made his actions seem a little less random, as he comes to the realization that this isn't what he wants.
As for the second vid, I just don't see why. The first sound was fine, and this one really just sounded stupid.

Exactly, it's like, because the prequels had no idea what subtly is, the originals have to be changed to reflect that...
