I am very well aware of your conversation, or rather the statement you pulled to begin with. This thread and this article only came up in the initial few sentences, where I said the following: "The way it was presented, it was just a joke, but it's not like such views are particularly well differentiated."
That was it. That was all the connection to this thread and this article. I hope you now realize that I was not taking this article or thread as particularly hurtful or was acting overly sensitive. I was complaining about an issue I've encountered in other venues. This thread and article (and specifically what Kuratius said) were merely a trigger that allowed me to talk about these other issues.
